Bacco’s Wine Cellar

This was my first wine tasting experience and Hisham set a bar that will be hard for any others to reach. We came into the tasting wondering if it was etiquette to purchase a bottle of wine after a tasting… we ended up leaving with 7 bottles because of the taste, yes, but mostly because Hisham captures the spirit of what a good bottle of wine represents. We had a full experience with a variety of new tastes, knowledge, and memories to walk away with and would highly recommend this experience and cellar to many!

I’ve been to a lot of wine tastings and winery tours… a LOT and I reviewed probably all of them so definitely check them out if you’d like a comparison.
I noticed this place once when I was at Bottom’s Up (in the same strip mall) and came across a Living Social deal recently so I purchased it. As usual, I wait till the last minute to use these groupon-​like deals so when I called, there was only one tasting available on a Saturday at 4pm and that wasn’t going to work. Hisham was able to accomodate me and let me use it the following weekend after it expired. He explained that he doesn’t like to rush the groups out the door, and after my wine tasting two weeks ago, I totally get it now…
For starters, there is no shortage of wine with this tasting, Hisham is very generous with the pours and bottles, there is wine of plenty! He provides a TON of wine education during the tasting, along with a few stories and jokes… it’s a GOOD time for sure! During our tasting he was also accomodating to customers who came in. He even opened a bottle of wine for a group to share while they shopped!
The selection of wine is great, there are also other wine accessories you can purchase and the prices are good.
I absolutely suggest checking this place out for your wine purchases and even more so, a tasting… it’s a fun way to spend a few hours!

I had the privilege of attending a wine tasting at Bacco’s about a month or so ago using a Groupon I purchased. Hisham was a wonderful host, incredibly charming, patient, generous, and very knowledgeable about Italian wines. Even though I’ve been a bit of a … wino for a few years now (first step is acceptance right?), I still learned quite a few things! I really enjoyed the décor and the table set-​up as it felt like a nice private group journey through different Italian wine regions. The wines we were able to taste were good and not in short supply either for tasting or purchasing. The tasty cheese and cracker accompaniment was also bountiful. You definitely get your money’s worth! I highly recommend.

Love it! Love it! love it! Live only blocks away from Bacco’s, Sorry it took me so long to discover this gem and so close to home. I have attended many wine tastings and by far this has been the best one yet. Very welcoming, did not feel rushed. Price range vary something for everyone. Just and overall pleasurable experience. If your in the neighborhood this is a must try. Maybe a wine tasting before dinner. This would help complete the evening. Thank You Hisham will be back.

I attended a wine tasting at Bacco’s, and was so impressed with everything. The atmosphere was charming, the owner was delightful, and the wines were amazing. We left the shop relaxed and happy… and feeling like we were a member of the family.

My boyfriend and I went to a wine tasting at Bacco’s and we had an absolutely wonderful time! We have gone to many wine tastings throughout Illinois and Michigan, and the tasting at Bacco’s was the most thorough and informative tasting we’ve ever attended. The owner, Hisham, is very lively and knowledgeable and you can tell he absolutely loves wine. He lived in Italy for several years and we really enjoyed learning about Italian wines and the various regions of Italy. Wine is clearly his passion. We are so happy that we discovered Bacco’s — this is why I love sites like Groupon and Living Social, I come across places I never would have found on my own. I’m even considering celebrating my birthday at Bacco’s. Great little shop with something for everyone!

As soon as you walk in the door, you feel completely comfortable. My boyfriend and I stopped in to pick up wine for our anniversary and left with tons of wine knowledge and a new friend! The owner, Hisham is one of the most personable people you will ever meet and he truly knows wines. It’s easy to tell he’s in the wine business for the right reasons and really enjoys sharing his knowledge with others. If you want gifts, special occasions or if you just want to try a really good wine stop in and check this place out! There’s something for everyone and for every wallet ($ 10 all the way to $ 50+)

had a fantastic wine tasting at Baccos. Great wine selection and very informative. this is a really cute shop too. the owner is so nice and very accomodating. have been back several times to purchase wine.

We were early for a dinner date at Bottom’s Up, so wandered over to Bacco’s for a perusal. Super cute shop! Lots of wine, but also, lots of beer! Many craft varieties, and even a build your own 6-​pack option.
While at first I was overwhelmed with the selection, I later started to look at the prices. Not bad! Everything seemed to be fair, which is not typically the case for wine shops.
Overall great selection and good prices! I’ll be back if I’m ever in the area.

Great local wine and beer shop with friendly staff and often wine or beer you can’t find other places.
