Mercury Limousine

After writing the terrible and accurate review below, I was surprised to find this business rated as 4 stars. Looking a little further, the same review I wrote was posted 3 times by other users but deemed irrelevant by Unilocal.The commentary is below.
Are you planning your wedding? Are you looking for reliable transportation to and from the event? Do you think that paid reviews on a lackluster limo company will help you make the decision?
I submitted for a quote for 3 hours on transportation to and from our ceremony to a reception. We got a quote and tried to put the contract though their site. The link put the order through at $ 0.00 so we called Mercury Limousine. The price quoted by their site originally seemed in the range so we followed up.
From talking to the receptionist it was clear that this is a common case. They refused to honor the quote that their site emailed because it was for a wedding. When we asked what the price would be, the quote was 15% higher. We tried to clarify the reason for the up-​charge, the difference in service offered, drinks, decorations etc., The answer was there was none. The offer the exact same service but more expensive simply due to the fact it is a wedding.
We asked to talk to the manager to clarify that this is in fact the case and the lady said he was not in and wouldn’t be back that day (at about 1PM local time) we called back several days later in response to the same quote. The gentleman we spoke to said he notes on our account indicated a wedding and it would be more expensive. He also said the service is the same but the pricing is different due to the fact it’s a wedding. When we asked to clarify with the owner we were waiting on a call back from they hung up.
With that said we found a much better limo company within the Chicago land area. The quote we received from their site was honored and the bus rental was over 20% less. Do yourself a favor and call around.
We all know that weddings are ripped off for like kind services. The difference is that most companies at least try to deny it and at least feign being reasonable.

Terrible customer service!!! They arrived 40 minutes late to pick my party up and when I called to complain, the owner was incredibly rude. They definitely do not care about their customer’s satisfaction. Too bad as the vehicle was great. I will never use them again.

I wasn’t even sure I wanted a limo for my wedding, but my fiancé was adamant that we get from the church to the reception in style! We first dealt with another limo company that dicked us around for a week by not responding to our emails (um, seriously? WE’RE TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY. AT LEAST SEND US A RESPONSE), until my fiancé found Mercury Limousine.
Their rates were affordable, we could order online, the driver was polite (and a few minutes early picking us up! Nice!), and, like Jelena, we also got a free upgrade to a big fancy SUV limo! We felt pretty baller sipping on our bottle of champagne on the way to the reception. If you’re in need of a limo in the Naperville area, I definitely recommend Mercury.

We reserved a towncar for our wedding from Mercury Limousine based on the recommendation from a friend who had just gotten married. I was nervous the car would be late and throw off our time schedule, but the driver showed up early, was friendly and helpful, and put up with us sending him all over the place to pick up and drop off multiple family members and the bride and groom (separately of course). He was polite and drove safely, and we arrived everywhere on time and comfortable. He also put up with us having to fill the trunk and car after the wedding with gifts and packages, and helped us carry everything up to our front door. Very good service, I would recommend to anyone needing a towncar for the day! I had an easy time making the reservations too, the man on the phone was friendly and they sent my receipt via email with the total and all the addresses for pickups and dropoffs listed. Thanks for making our day seemless!

Renting a limo is not something I do very often — the last time I did, I believe it was for my sister’s bachelorette party in 2002 (yeah, right out of college and married at 22!).
This time around, I did considerably more research as my mom wasn’t going to be handing over her credit card to pay for it. After collecting a half dozen quotes or so, I determined that Mercury Limousine was offering the most competitive rate. They were super easy to work with, and offer an online payment option should you wish to take advantage. It’s a little complicated, but they’re happy to walk you through it.
The night of the event, I was ecstatic to see that they had upgraded us free of charge from a 10-​passenger stretch to one of those stretch SUV types. Woo hoo! And the driver kept in constant touch all evening without me even having to ask — a HUGE plus as I wasn’t riding in the limo, but arranging for the pick up of my guests.
I wholeheartedly reccomend Mercury Limousine for any of your events — they’re priced right, courteous, professional, and most importantly… dependable!
