There are a couple really bad reviews, and the points made are not without merit. Still, I greatly appreciate WCTKD. We started years ago with Master Kim who was great. Actually, a former coach for a countries Olympic team.
Master Park carried on the teaching and REALLY DID A GREAT JOB! With the help of a couple great instructors — He was instrumental in helping instill discipline and focus to my boys.
Master Kim (new master kim) is the main instructor now. Master Jung and Master Kim from the Oswego school spend time in Naperville too. The combination of instructors is great.
There are certainly challenges to running this business and it’s not perfect, but I feel it’s BEEN GREAT and WILL BE GREAT again.

I am completely happy with Master Kim, and his many lessons for my kid.
While my little guy (7) really didn’t need to learn a lot about respect and behaving, there is a marked improvement nonetheless. This is done in a kind, fun, and loving manner, Master Kim is a kid whisperer, They all react very positively to him. My son learns very quickly, and leadership is passed down from class number one. They offer a free first class, and they even have birthday parties. There are older kids and adults in classes as well.

Gold Medal Taekwondo keep fraudulently (in my opinion) charging my bank account via ACH debits, despite me giving them proper notice that we intend to discontinue using their services. They keep stealing my money via ACH debits for many months after we gave them notice.
From the beginning, this taekwondo place was about only grabbing as much money as possible via various tricks, fees and so on.
