Naples Bay Resort

Really nice hotel and resort in the heart of downtown Naples.
Not quite 5 stars, but fully deserving of 4+ stars.
Big, comfortable rooms. Lovely grounds right on the boat marina. Great club, pools and poolside bar.
We’ll be back…

Nice hotel but over priced. Carpet and some furniture was very worn. Bath robes where dirty and no room service for breakfast. At this price point you expect better.

Really wanted to give the hotel 3 stars, but the room is so nice I had to give it 4. Starting with the good, the room is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a huge living room, dining area and full kitchen plus a great outdoor patio overlooking the marina. The finishes are very nice and well worth the money you pay. Our room was booked through Cancelon, which is an affiliate of some sort with Trip Advisor. We got this room and a greatly discounted price which comes from previously cancelled reservations that were non refundable. While the room discount was nice, we also seemed by coincidence, to get some discounted services. The maid service has been hit and miss with things each day not being taken care of. Robes taken but not replaced, no laundry detergent, no fixings for the coffee maker and so on. Yesterday, we left for the beach and realized had not removed the Do Not Disturb sign from our door. We called the front desk to say we were gone for the day and asked that they let the maid service know about the sign so the room could be cleaned. The guy I spoke to seemed uninterested, but I trusted it would be done. Needless to say, upon our return, the room had not been cleaned. When I went to the front desk to inquire, there was a girl there that was very nice. A guy came out that seemed like he was who I had talked to, but he would not admit it. He did not say it was not him, which means it was. At least have the ability to say «i screwed up». He didn’t and no one bothered to do anything to make up for it. At the pool on Tuesday we placed an order for chicken quesadillas. After 1 hour of waiting I went to ask how long. I was told the kitchen was very busy. I waited another half hour before going back. No new info so I asked for a manager. Instead of a manager coming out, the girl that was handing out towels came out and talked to the bartender and asked him to talk to me. He did and was very apologetic and asked to have the kitchen make it asap. He was not the problem as he, the guy bringing food around and the girl taking orders, were all busting their butts. Would have been nice for a manager to come out of their air conditioned office and actually manage, rather than taking away the bartender who was truly working like he cared. No follow up from anyone from that problem either. The only other negative is that the main pool area is about a 10 minute walk from the main hotel building we were at. Not ideal, but you should at least know that is the case.

First time staying here, was for a wedding. Flawless. From check in to check out, everyone was friendly and professional without being stuffy as one might expect in Naples. Taking a break from the wedding set up I had lunch at the Bonefish grill, sat at the bar, had the best service, food amazing, wish I would have gotten guys name who served me, from estero. Noe, the banquet manager was the most amazing of them all. He was there from start to finish, including serving, always smiling and reassuring. Highly recommend this gem, I didn’t even mention the awesome setting.

I stayed here for my brothers wedding. This place was great. My room was right next to the front desk, which at first I was skeptical about but quickly realized how quiet my room was.
I had a slight issue with a stain on the sheets, room service came and changed it immediately. Not only was the room nice and big, my view of the marina was amazing.
I did find that the the grounds were very big and to get to the pool from the main building, required a ride in the shuttle, or a good 10 min walk.
The pool was beautiful, the bar had great selections and the food service was awesome! The lazy river was relaxing and not crowded and I appreciated the fact that there was a separate «adult» pool that was quiet and off to the side.
I really wish there was room service, for those mornings when up just don’t want to trek to the restaurant a few doors down.
I must say the restaurant located a few doors down on the same grounds (can’t remember the name) as the hotel and Marina was pretty awesome.
The first morning I had freshly made waffles and fruit, the next day i came back with my family and had a freshly made omelet and perfectly coordk home fries. This place is family friendly and I definitely return.

Beautiful! The resort is amazing! Right on the water so there is a ton to do! Kayaking was one of my favorites, besides getting a massage at the spa. I lobes that it was so close to 5^th abe, tin city, etc. Plus there are restur ants at the reaort that a great. Wish that I could live here!

I am leaving this review on our last day and a few hours before the check-​out.
The hotel staff goes the extra mile to make sure that your stay is the best experience ever. In particular, the concierge, Marilyn, and a tennis club staff, Sharon, were very friendly and informative. Marilyn kindly presented our daughter with a surprise b-​day cake!
Thanks to the staff members and nice features of the resort, we forgot that we came to Naples to enjoy the beach, and spent the most of our time in the resort. It has been the best vacation experience for our family.

I’m currently staying here over Christmas & writing a review before my stay even ends bc I’m so impressed w/​everything, that should tell you something about this outstanding property. The hospitality & customer service is beyond great! Marilyn who heads the concierge desk was pretty close to a miracle worker. Why you ask? Well I’ll tell ya, I had not made any reservations for dinner on both Christmas Eve or day. I called everywhere and of course nothing was available. I’m usually better prepared but zoned out and thought «why make a reservation?» It’s funny bc my nickname is Mr. Prepared (it’s not). Anyway I explained to Marilyn the situation and within an hour ON CHRISTMAS DAY! she was able to get us reservations at two of the best places in Naples Campiello (check my review place was tremendous!) & Chops (tonight). Not only that the boat rentals on propy were booked solid for two weeks. Mr. Prepared strikes again. Marilyn got us a beautiful boat for the day. No joke the guys/​girls at the boat rental were so nice an absolute pleasure. There equipment is all top tier new & beautiful boats w/​large Mercury engines. Just got back and it was a highlight GREAT time I highly recommend it.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful we have a two bedroom suite overlooking the marina where multi million dollar yachts are docked. I want to live here!
My advice give this place a real hard look before booking anywhere else when staying in Naples. Oh and this is pretty important, make reservations for dinners during peak seasons and call ahead for the boat rentals!

Mr. Prepared

I thought overall this hotel was great. In our room, once you walked out of the door, you litterally walked to the open air. I enjoy this but I understand why some would not. Thankfully, this hotel has both options! My room had a full «living room», a mini kitchen, and 2 separate bedrooms. Each room was equipped with a TV and accompanied by a great outdoor marina view. All in all, this hotel was a great experience.

We visited family in Tampa and were on our way to Miami Beach. We made this and Naples our half way stop. These are condominium suites that are rented when not in use by the owners. This is a part of a large boat-​in resort so the lay out is more for that than a true hotel.
The room was very spacious and the bath/​shower room huge!
There are boutiques and boating related shops that surrounds the resort’s moorage.
Breakfast is served in the yacht club to non members. Really a super view by the pool with well prepared omlettes/​pancakes and traditional breakfast buffet.
I would have liked to spent another day there to enjoy some of the resort amenities.

I can not say enough about our stay. We had a 2 bedroom suite that was perfect for our stay with our 9 month old. The black-​out curtains helped him sleep without trouble… the washer & dryer in the unit was very helpful. Nice kitchen. The staff was great! They accommodated our early early check-​in with no hassle. Great pool area… although a bit further walk than we ideally would have had, but could have taken the shuttle. We will definitely go back next year.

Extremely Nice. Staff was Wonderful the 2 concierge we met were Wonderful they help me find a babysitter for one of the nights found a Wonderful service A LOVING TOUCH. Marion the owner came and babysat for our 2 and 4 year old. She was very kind to them they enjoyed her. If need babysitters I highly recommend this service.. Our suite was very nice our view was very nice to look out on of a morning. The kids had a great time at the pool with the waterfall.
The 2 concierge ladies both took special time to talk directly and kindly to our Grandkids made them feel special. We will be staying here again

Best Florida stay EVER! Beautiful Resort. Beautiful town ! Great staff. Great two BR suite. Def would return

I really like this hotel, great spa and good location. Rooms are beautiful. There are some set backs, for instance it’s not on the beach, the pool is a bit small. However, you can rent bikes and bike it to the beach, the pool is relaxing and the wait staff are a. You must go to the SPA. Close to downtown and the pier so you can catch a glimpse of a beautiful sunset! This resort does have shopping on site, a Bonefish Grill and excellent boat rental rates.
About 20 minutes away is TigerTail Beach in Marco Island, it’s a hidden gem that is beautiful and not crowded at all. Definitely check it out.

What an ideal location for an amazing resort. You literally do not need to leave this establishment, since it has everything you would need. Comfortable beds, a beautiful view, and a quite a few restaurants– not to mention one of the better pools Naples hotels have to offer.
We stood in ²⁄₂ villa that overlooked the bay and it was gorgeous. It was spacious, clean and had all the amenities you could wish for. The pool has a lazy river (which I stood on for about 2 hours), a hot tub and a waterfall pool that is abnormally large. I really enjoyed myself at this resort.
The breakfast buffet at the Meridian was very good, They have so much of a selection and not to mention they have a waffle & omelette stand.
The service was average, the room service was lacking and I had to go out of my way to look for someone when I needed to. Albeit, everyone was very nice and helpful.
However, there is only one hit that bumped it from 5 – 4 stars: The pool’s location. it’s VERY far from the hotel, granted they have shuttles to and fro, but it isn’t the same. If someone did not know about the shuttle service, it’s a very big inconvenience. That’s one of the reasons why I did not return to the pool a second day. There is a smaller pool on the other side of the hotel within walking distance, but it was very small.
I would say that they are worth checking out and staying because of the ideal location and the great pool!

The customer service here shines with hospitality! Im celebrating my Bday here every year from now on. Kids are kinda rowdy and out of control in the pool area so be wary of them. Amanda was so helpful and nice at the front desk that I didn’t wanna return to Miami!

This place is pretentious.
Although the staff is very friendly and the hotel is clean the price they charge and the services you receive do not add up. My family enjoyed our stay here but we won’t be staying here again any time soon, unless we hit the lottery. Fingers crossed TFY

I recently stayed here in one of the cottages as part of a family vacation and loved it. It was very close to the downtown portion of Naples and other attractions.
I enjoyed most the poolside area that was conveniently located across the parking lot. Michael the bartender was very friendly and made some nice drinks as well. The lazy river was relaxing and so was the hot tub. It was family friendly and quiet so there weren’t a lot of loud or obnoxious guests.
The only drawback was having to leave. I definitely recommend staying here and I look forward to going back.

Absolutely worst hotel I have ever stayed at for the money! Spa way overpriced and massage wasn’t great. One disappointment after another! Haven’t seen many other quests in hotel yet they claimed last room available on Internet. Room service is from 12 to 9? At yacht club only overpriced breakfast buffet and no liquor? I will never come back here and feel totally ripped off for the money!!!
