The Inn

I was holding off for my fireball review, but so far my experience has been beyond acceptable. I can go back 3 years to June 2013 when I reserved 2 rooms to accommodate out of town family following my daughter’s wedding. The rooms are super basic at a premium price for the area… Plainly stated for all the tourists out there. I’m a local person born and raised within Elkhart County boundaries and I think their service doesn’t come even close to matching the accommodations regardless of their Amish simple/​plain sort of claims.
Fast forward 2016… While reserving additional rooms for previously reserved wedding party accommodations I was told by «Morgan» at reservation desk that she thought it was funny that I was told to mention that I was the mother of the groom while reserving rooms for family or wedding party. When I asked why since we’re playing plenty for the on grounds wedding and reception… She said it didn’t matter. Double bed accommodations for all and that’s it. Good thing to know when tourists are paying premium $$ for less than standard accommodations. Visitors might want to head into Elkhart, Goshen or Middlebury for far better treatment and pricing than Amish Acres. They don’t seem to care about the whole experience once they have your cash. It’s disgusting, actually. I’ll never recommend this establishment ever again no matter what. Morgan ruined it for me with her haughty, rude and unprofessional remarks. This local girl doesn’t need further convincing.

My wife surprised me with a weekend away here. She got a package deal that included the bed and breakfast, visit to the attractions, dinner and the show. It is fabulous value. The room was great, the people friendly and the show hilarious. Save room for the dinner because it is all you can eat family style and very tasty. There is a nice outdoor pool which we didn’t try because we didn’t know it was there. You can walk into Nappanee town which is very quaint. We will be going back for the flower festival in October.

I’m a total fan of this place. I had gone for a weekend away and it was the best money and time I’ve ever spent. I wasn’t too fond of the whirlpool that was in the wall between the room and the bathroom but other than that it was nice. A continental breakfast was included for the package deal we got. The farm was peaceful and all the little shops made you feel quite at home.
The people there are warm and friendly.
The theater performances in the round barn are wonderful.
Thresher’s Dinner is in the barn and although it’s a bit pricey for the all you can eat family style meal it was worth it!
It’s definatley cheaper to get a package deal. I had originally just purchased the room but when I got there and found out about the packages I ended up with meal tickets, a show, a tour and money back!
I will be definitely going back.
