East Wax Nashville

Love this place I’ve been to several waxing establishment and East Wax Nashville always does the best job. They are the only place I don’t break out from the wax.

I trust my brows to no one except Brook! She has a gentle touch and knows exactly how to shape my full brows. These brows of mine can be a challenge sometimes and she always takes the time needed to make them perfect! The shop is so cute and I love all the products they have available. Easy to get to and easy parking.
The online booking is so easy. It’s usually late at night when I think about needing an appointment and I love that I can jump online and book right then!

The Belle Meade location closed, and I’ve been shy about finding someone new. I had some trouble getting there, and they were very accommodating despite my shameful tardiness. I saw Priscilla today for «The Nashvillian» and an eyebrow wax. The results are perfect in my eyes. She was professional, friendly, and very serious about the work at hand — a black belt kitty ninja, IYKWIM, and an eyebrow tamer. The store is bright, clean, and well decorated. The other staff are friendly. I’ll be back!

eewww… a review about waxing. There are no ‘eewwws’ at Wax Nashville.
See look I’ve never been waxed anywhere on my body before. If you’re a first timer you’re nervous, you’re worried if it will hurt like in the movie ’40-​year-​old-​virgin’ and you think «i dont even know this person, who is seeing my hairy parts!» Okay, take a deep breath. It’s gonna be okay, at Wax Nashville.
I had all the same feelings you had but had gotten recommendations from friends that this was THE BEST place in Nashville. okay. fine. I went. It was great. Sheron is super sweet, easy going and made me feel at ease. The lovely ladies at the front desk are nice. I’ve never had an appointment that wasn’t early or on time. I love that about any appointment I’ve set. Actually if you go online you set your appointment up there, discreetly. Or not sure what to get? Call them, they’ll answer all your question. And if you felt like an idiot asking well whats that, or will it hurt, they’ve been asked it before.
It’s clean, the rooms are private, every one is nice and the prices are right to get a top notch wax service like this!
TIP: Street Parking can be limited during dinner time as there are some restaurants around. They take walk ins!

This is the most expensive waxing I have ever gotten. I’m new to waxing and I’ve only tried one other place. I kept coming back here because the waxing I get from Sheron far exceeds what I got at another location. I don’t know if it’s the wax they other location used or what, but I came home with bumps and hair almost a week later. With Sheron, the Brazilian is exactly what it’s supposed to be… bare. I am able to easily go 5 weeks between waxes and though this is pricey it’s just worth it for the results I have become addicted to. Sheron will put you at ease and she’s at Master level for a reason. She knows what she’s doing and it ends up being worth the price if I don’t have to return 2 weeks later. I drive about 45 mins each way.

I’m new to Nashville and decided to try East Wax Nashville based on reviews I saw on Unilocal.I was not disappointed. Has a very nice welcoming feel to it and Pricilla was great. I liked that I could make an appointment online for the same day. very easy.

I’ll be honest — I was really disappointed when the other location closed. I was concerned about how far away this one is. BUT, Sharon is so amazing that it’s totally worth the drive. My eyebrows always look fantastic after I see her. And she’s so friendly! Street parking was easy enough. Definitely worth the trek.

What I liked:
1. I drive from Franklin to East Nashville and won’t go anywhere else!
2. Sharon– is great at her job and a true delight! I highly recommend!
3. Street parking on a week day at the East Nashville location is very easy.
What I don’t like:
1. It’s pretty pricey!

Priscilla was awesome! Everybody so warm and welcoming. Facility is clean. Only reason didn’t get 5 stars was the country blue grass playing over speakers. This is music city, a mix of the other genres would be nice to boogie to

The Brazilian and full leg touch up were quick and professional. But it was not a Brazilian. I leave a large front due to the sensitivity of the skin there. This was a touch up, so it was beyond obvious where my fairly full hair forms a large triangle and the sparse, shorter hairs that were to be removed. That large triangle was waxed into a sizable rectangle and much lower… I know where I want my line to be, where it was. I really hate when esthetician’s cut into that. My hair is extremely sensitive on my front which is why I leave it alone save a clean up, «bikini» size along sides. Hello ingrowns next week, thanks.
I thought the rear of the Brazilian would be done once I was turned over for the back of the full legs but the rear was not even touched… It was basically a maintenance extended bikini for which I paid a full Brazilian price.
Although I did not book an underarm, as the combos on the website did now allow a selection of maintenance Brazilian, full leg, and underarm. I had requested underarms as well if time permitted in the comment section. The young woman at the front desk assured me that my esthetician was quite quick so we may be able to do the underarm as well.
My appointment was at 2:45pm, I showed up ten minutes prior as suggested on their website. The esthetician took me to the clean and tidy room at 3:00pm. If I had not had to put my credit card down for booking this appointment, I would have left. They will cancel you with a charge if you are 10 minutes late, but apparently this does not apply to the esthetician who knows you would have liked to do the underarm as well, with time. And, of course, there was not enough time at the end of the session due to the esthetician’s delay. She politely offered for me to stop by the next day as it only takes 15 minutes to do. Oh, so if my appointment had started when it was supposed to, we could have had it done.
Friendly, clean rooms, professional demeanor, and a relaxing atmosphere.
Poor time management, charging for services not delivered, and waxing more of the front after a quick discussion to leave it intact.

I liked the esthetician but I was left wanting to like my service.

I have written before in my review of the other Wax Nashville location about the perils of growing old. One of the most common, yet unspoken, perils is that hair begins to grow places that, quite frankly, you do not want hair to grow. You wake up one day, and you go, «WTF! Where’d that _​_​_​_​hair come from?!? OMG! I have to get rid of that now!»
Well, I woke up to that day a few years ago and have been fighting the good fight ever since. One day I hope for a magical transformation back to being young again, but until that happens I am going to get waxed people — and I am not ashamed to publicly exclaim it.
I see Kimberly Quinn at Wax Nashville East, and I think she is just lovely: professional, timely, inquisitive, patient, and all around swell chica. That’s right I used the word, «swell,» in a story about a waxing place and I was not being pun-​ny or negative. I was being 1950s-​ish and trying to say that Kimberly is the bomb-​diggity.
So, get off your laurels and get over to Wax East to see Kimberly ASAP to remove that hair that you’ve just realized has grown somewhere that you just do not want it to grow. Or, go remove that hair that you’re particular about (or maybe is in an area a bit sensitive to shave…). Just go. And see Kimberly.

This was my 2^nd time going to Wax Nashville. I live around the corner from the East Nashville location, so it’s easy for me to access. The first time I went, they were good, but not great. I wasn’t overly impressed, especially since it’s $ 20 for an eyebrow wax and the salon across the street does them for $ 14. With that said, I went back because I had a $ 5 off coupon and this time I saw Jordan. Love her! I have been searching for a waxer since I moved to Nashville 2 years ago. Finally — I found someone who knows exactly how to do them! Now, I will definitely go back — without hesitation. I would highly recommend getting your brows done with Jordan!

I am wavering between two and three stars. I love the location, love the space and ambience, and have always been happy with the results when i get my brows done (particularly with Rachel — she’s awesome). But after going 10+ times, and always having to wait 10 – 30 minutes to get my brows waxed, I’m decidedly disenchanted with the overall experience. It doesn’t even take 30 minutes to wax my eyebrows — I shouldn’t have to wait longer than the activity itself. I always have an appointment, and on two ocassions, I’ve had to walk out because i have other appointments to get to.
I definitely recommend this place if quality is your main concern and time is of no importance to you.

I am pretty particular and slightly obsessive about my brows, which have a tendency to get out of control if I’m not careful. I’ve been to tons of different aestheticians. For years I was a devoted client of the amazing Wafa, who sadly passed away several years ago.
In searching for someone new, I read some good reviews about Wax Nashville (west location, I now go to the East location since it opened its doors in ’11) and decided to give them a try. It was the best decision I could have ever made for my brows. I go to Rochelle, one of the owners, and she is absolutely flawless at her profession. She’s a total perfectionist, and even takes the time to not only thoroughly trim my wild brow hairs, but she uses a brow pencil to make them really pop. She’s amazing.
The shop is down the street from Five Points but in a less busy location, so street parking is never a problem. It’s squeaky clean and stylish, and not pretentious like so many spas. I love that they play fun, mainstream music, not the traditional spa music with generic waves and bird sounds in the background. I never have to wait long before my appointment, usually not at all, which is also unusual. They just opened the Nail Lounge next door, so you can totally pamper yourself if you’d like. And Far East next to that is a great spot for lunch or dinner.
If you’re looking for an aesthetician, definitely give them a try.
