Definitely not the best vietnamese I’ve had, but it’s not terrible. Chicken/pork bun is pretty good and a staple for me — especially on hangover days.

Yum, delicious phở, the broth was perfect! My husband had a steak dish with tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions. It was great. The kids had the chicken. Everything tasted so fresh. It was wonderful. We sat in the patio area outside and it was such nice atmosphere. We will be back.

Didn’t know what to expect but the chicken phở I had here was as good as any I have had elsewhere! I should mention a Vietnamese lady use to give me homemade phở all the time :) This place is located in a really cute area as well so you can checkout the little hipster shops after you get your grub on.(They have a nice patio as well.)

This is by far the best Vietnamese food I have had in an incredibly long time. The staff is always incredibly kind, the food is unique and everything I have had there is amazing. I love their Ginger Chicken, any of their appetizers, and I hear their phở is phenomenal. They also have really good wine at very reasonable prices.

Visiting Nashville for the first time and we happened upon this adorable Vietnamese restaurant. We had just eaten but we were so excited to find a Vietnamese place that we had to try it! We just got appetizers: cha gio(egg rolls) and fried squid(muc)-very flavorful and yummy! Great, friendly service! Talked with the owner for a bit – really nice(small world-he knew where my hometown in SoCal is!). He built a lot of this beautiful restaurant himself!

I really dig the food here. Orders are always take out or delivery through a third party service, so I can’t comment on wait staff. I always get the phở and am a big fan. Portions are very large and unlike SOME places *cough* lovepeaceandpho *cough* they have very generous potions of meat. Their broth is also very aromatic, and they are generous with toppings. I’ve had just about everything on the menu. It’s seriously so good. My order is usually regular phở, yellow curry, and a broken rice plate. Only thing I didn’t care for was the pancake dishes. Their menu is also marked for gluten free dishes.

I just had the House Special Phở delivered through Order UP and it was incredible. Nice portion of vegies, excellent cuts of beef, and a very flavorful broth. It just doesnt get any better than this. Big ups to Far East Nashville for such a wonderful dish.

We love coming here. You can tell that the ingredients are way better quality than most Asian restaurants. The flavors are very satisfying and are an appropriate portion. The portions are not huge but they are the amount of food someone should reasonably eat. It is a casual restaurant with a combination of sit down and take out business. Best phở in Nashville!

Good food and service. Unfortunately, a lot of the dishes taste exactly the same and the prices are a bit high.

I had a really great experience here. All the vegetarian menu items are vegan! I had the vegetarian Phở and it was exactly what I needed on a rainy day. There were lots of veggies and the broth was really good. I think this will be my new go-to takeout place. It’s a good date spot as well. Very affordable.

A little food joint down in the Fatherland area and the food is soooooo good! I had a rice and pork plate and it was delicious. My friend had one of the phở bowls and said it was delicious too. so many choices there. We ordered a couple of appetizers as well. Highly recommend.

This review is for take out. They seemed a little understaffed when I arrived, there seemed to be only one front of house person on duty and the dining room waiting in disarray. I showed up at the time they told me but my order was not ready. After a bit of a wait I was off with my bag of treats. Once home we enjoyed the Com Ram Nuong and the stir fry lemongrass chicken. I will have to go back and try the Phở one day soon.

On behalf of Amira: I love this place. I like the food. I like the pink and purple. I like the desert. They have desert. My favorite thing is the part you drive on. I like sitting next to Jas.

We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed a bottle of wine and the chefs special wings for an aps. I have been going to this place since 2010 and it’s always been a great spot to get the phở! I would recommend this place for take out as well. Decent service and pretty fresh food.

Hidden gem in East Nashville! I always start with the fresh Vietnamese spring rolls, they are incredible. The authentic Phở soups are delicious especially on a cold winters day. I would also recommend the lemongrass chicken stir fry.

Summary: good but overpriced. I was in the neighborhood and had some time to kill, plus I was hungry. There weren’t a lot of options, so I ended up at Far East, and I’m glad I did! I had the original phở. It was very good. Quite tasty. It was a large bowl, but not really enough meat to justify the price, though. I stuck with water, but had it not been the middle of the day, I might have ordered a drink. Then again, drinks were also on the pricy side. If I were in the neighborhood, I might come back. But for the price, it’s probably not worth the trip otherwise.

We came back after a five month sabbatical and probably won’t be back. First, they changed the seating so there is a large bench on each wall with three tables connected. This makes larger groups coming here next to impossible. They changed the menu and took off some delicious items(one was the salad which was second best to the veggie phở) and of course that was the item I was wanting! My husband got the shrimp phở and instead of having 12 shrimp, there were six shrimp butterflied. I couldn’t believe it! I wonder if they changed management? Instead of appropriate music, talk radio was on. Now I love some NPR, but this wasn’t NPR and even if it was, I wouldn’t want to hear it in a restaurant. I gave it a two for nostalgia and the fact that they still have $ 5 glasses of wine.
