Stock Piano Studio

I had no idea where to start when I made the decision to learn piano. There are tons of options for piano lessons in the Nashville area. I’m so thankful I made the decision to sign up with Kaleb. He’s patient, encouraging, and tailors each lesson to the needs of his students. He’s very committed to the success of his students!

Kaleb and I have known each other for approximately eight years. We attended a Christian boarding high school together in small town Colorado. I learned of his love for music there and it seemed like he won every talent show the school had and he also won every young girls heart in the process.
A few years after high school I found myself putting together a collegiate aged mission project to build three school buildings in a rural village in the Dominican Republic. There was a need for a musical coordinator on the trip who could lead out musically for our group. Kaleb agreed to come and his leadership coupled with his musical ability brought the group closer together and made the trip a phenomenal success.
After college, where he majored in Piano Performance, Kaleb moved to Nashville to pursue his dream of earning his livelihood making music. Some thought he was crazy to leave his family’s 3^rd generation small town Colorado Saw Mill. He could earn a great living as a lumberjack and eventually help run the family business. Kaleb told me that if he didn’t pursue his dream, he would forever wonder what could have been. He knew it would be difficult but he decided to go all in.
Now for my experience in the studio.
In Q1 2015 I was offered an interim leadership position in Nashville to help turn around a struggling start up company. I was excited for the opportunity and to reconnect with the only person I knew in the city, my old friend Kaleb Stock.
During my six months in the city, I worked long hours and found that I did not have much to mingle in the city.
I told Kaleb that I had always wanted to learn to play guitar and he offered to give me lessons. He drove to me for the lessons several times and when I could, I would meet at him at his studio. He was very flexible and accommodating.
There are a few things in life that I excel in. Guitar certainly proved not to be one of them. Kaleb was kind and patiently guided me as I learned the instrument. I felt terrible for him, here is someone incredible at several instruments having to sit through me making two mistakes every ten seconds of playing. He assured me not to feel bad and inspired me to make more mistakes as he did when he was first beginning.
Within a month, I picked up several simple songs that I used to impress my long distance girlfriend over Skype. He even walked through with me to help me pick out songs he thought would make her laugh or smile.
I cannot say that I have experience with Kaleb’s piano lessons. However, I am willing to put my name out there for him with regards to his strong character, his patient and upbeat attitude, and his love for music. Without question I know that Kaleb will be dedicated to his craft and helping each of his students achieve success.
