As soon as u walk in it smells weird, smells like I walked into a restroom and not a restaurant, I don’t mind the building being old but at least keep up with maintenance the floors were dirty the counter was dirty and you can tell right away that probably even the kitchen was dirty. The food here is reheated over and over again my chicken was stale and dry and u can tell it was in the refrigerator along with the BBQ sauce that was cold and had a jelly texture. The rice and the Mac is good but the serving was small this was my first time trying this and it will be my last.

Honestly, this place is just one of my favorite places to eat. All I ever get here is the Chicken Katsu plate(regular sized if I feel like eating enough for a small family to my self and mini sized when I’m feeling like watching my figure jk jk, round is a shape). The food is always consistently delicious. I always call my order in before making my way out towards this location and by the time that I get there my food is already out and ready for me to eat. Typically takes about 10 minutes for the food to be ready once I have made the phone call. I also really love their macaroni salad. If you like Islander or Hawaiian style food with large portions then you really can’t go wrong with this place.

Delicious bbq chicken plate. My son loves the food here too. I score on the cold mac double up bc he doesn’t care for it. But I love it. $ 18 for 2 ppl isn’t all that bad when u have leftovers ;)

Haven’t had L&L in along time. I was craving some spam musubis after the gym so I stopped by here. The place was a bit unkept with trays of foods left on a couple tables. The sauce dispenser in the front was sticky and the surrounding area was messy. The spam musubis were good but put a lot more rice then other musubis I’ve had. I expected more from this place, reminded me why I haven’t had it in such along time.

Loved it! I had heard so many good reviews about it but I never had the chance to try it until recently! Highly recommend it!

I really enjoy the food however this location is really annoying. Almost every time I try to call in an order they don’t answer the phone which I would understand if they were actually busy… I work 20 minutes away and wanted to pick up dinner on my way home tonight. I tried calling the whole way there… so when I walked in I expected to see a busy restaurant. Nope, there were 2 girls behind the counter just talking away. They couldn’t even take me order when I walked up to the counter because they were too busy chatting. So rude!

Biggest portions of all L&L locations. The service is very quick and the chicken katsu is super crispy.

Late lunch for the office today. Katsu chicken is always my favorite comes with white rice and macaroni. We call in our order and most of the time it’s ready to pick up by time I get there. Fast and friendly service and reasonable prices.

I love there food everytime your driving on sweet water road you smell it and get hungry haha. The only bad thing is that it’s small inside and it’s hot in there they really need to turn on the a. c haha. The chicken katsu is my favorite. The staff there is nice and they make your food quick too :)

Had the Chicken Katsu Plate which was great! However, the kalbi ribs were tough and chewey! Couldnt eat them! Such a waste! Other than that the rice and mac salad were off the chain!

Love the food here. I always get the chicken katsu and its probably one of the best places I’ve had for chicken katsu. I especially love their macaroni salad too. The service is very friendly. I would give this place another star if they were cleaner thoug. The seats and tables are usually sticky and the last time I was here, I witnessed a cockroach almost the size of the palm of my hand walk across the restaurant floor…

Good food, husband and I both are here. He hit the bbq chicken and I got the chicken katsu curry. L A R G E portions of food. Taste wonderful and fresh I will have left overs for at least 2 – 3 days. It was close to our house too that’s always a plus. Husband was very satisfied

Great food. Huge portions. Typical Hawaiian food. I like the Loco Moco. It is exactly what you expect, if you’ve had local food in Hawaii — meaning not what the tourists eat.

Gustavo V. Was right. I tried to place a large order via phone one night and after about 6 failed attempts at reaching the restaurant on the phone, I decided to drive in and just wait on the order. The store was moderately busy when I arrived. As I approached the counter and placed my large order, I was greeted with an eye roll from the shift manager. Apparently my order was«too large for as late in the evening as it was»(7:30 p.m.)and«for future reference, you should call your orders in advance of they are going to be this large». When I patiently, yet curtly, explained that i had tried to do that, she replied with«I don’t think so since the phone hasn’t rang in hours.» The audacity of the implication that I was lying sent me over the edge!!! I cancelled the order and walked away. Their management should really take a look at the staff they put in charge of their business. They’re unprofessional and rude.

This is really the only L&L we’ll go to. I’m so bummed that all the Da Kines have closed, and that we have to settle with L&L. The service — well. Sometimes the counter girls will be friendly. More often than not, though, you’ll get a blank stare and a monotone request for money. The food is much better than the L&L dump on Sports Arena Blvd. My go-to dish is the BBQ chicken, but I found a recipe online that I’m going to try. I already make my own Kalbi ribs, if I can find a recipe for the BBQ chicken, I’ll just make that at home, too, and avoid L&L altogether.
