Unfortunately I have to agree with majority of reviews here on Unilocal this place is not a place to go and do business with. Unprofessional staff and they not clear on their service charges. I had a very bad experience and I wish I read other reviews before I went there. I would not recommend this place to anyone, save your time go somewhere else.

Came to get my rear window tinted and had a great experience. The tint is warranted for life with a Solar Guard warranty form and was done flawlessly. The guys in the shop are very friendly, willing to answer any questions, and most importantly, were knowledgeable of the products and services. Alan even showed me videos and products online to show me how things are installed and different the different prices they are listed at. I will definitely be back to do business again! Thanks so much!

Tinted my windows, power door locks fixed, power windows wiring fixed. Quality work. Abel the manager made sure the work got done fast and efficiently. I will definitley be back.

I bought a living social coupon for here to get Windows tinted, expected to pay a little more out of pocket to remove my old tint. Make sure I called and explained how many windows they said it was no problem they would honor it for the whole back of the car. I had an appointment at 9 o’clock the guy showed up 20 minutes later acted like it wasn’t a big deal then started telling me that they were going to charge me more for the back windows since i have five and not four. Which is why I called the day before. I asked him if he would honor what the other employee quoted me and he said no we went back and forth for awhile so I decided to leave. Called LivingSocial got my money back even if I pay more somewhere else I wouldn’t give them my business. They are not professional they don’t know how to communicate and obviously their staff is not on the same page which is not my problem. Shady people

I wish I’d read these reviews before going here. I was told 2.5 hours to tint my windows. Ended up being there for 5 hours. Was not offered $ 1 off my bill to compensate for my time or even a drink while I waited. My car was delivered back to me extremely dusty and even had tape still on it. I’m not a big believer in reading/​writing reviews but for wasting my day these guys earned it.

I had a great experience… Went there to get rims and tires and left with a great deal. I got a set of M5 rims for my BMW at a great price. Mark and Chris really worked with me. Great experience, and service. I will recommend anyone who wants to get work done to their car. Overall great!!!

DO. NOT. GO. HERE. these people are comeplete bullshitters, liars and thieves. Went to them for a simple engine swap and exhaust build, should take a couple days. A week if ur draggin a**. During the FOUR MONTHS I had to deal with them, the mechanic, chris, gave me the sales pitch that he «only did the best work» which means he’ll order the most expensive anything that you don’t need and bitch for hours if you try to argue. Even lied to me, saying he was legally obligated to make me buy extra mounts «for safety» lest he couldn’t release it to me. Nickel and diming me every step of the way. Finally I wised up and threatened to report them to the bureau of automotive repairs. When I showed up to talk to the owner, marc, he was standing out front. not having met him before I asked for him by name. He said he had no idea who that was and when I went inside he fled out the back and dissappeared. BIGGEST BUNCH OF PUNKS EVER. Im in the navy, and im already calling chiefs down at 32^nd st. Telling them not to let their sailors do buisiness there.

My first review was before it was all done, guess I spoke too soon! I am very dissapointed in the end with my car situation. I still think Nick may still be a great sales guy and seems to always do his best to accomodate the customer, but what goes on behind the scene’s is not good. My car ended up too low and bent two rims and blew out a brand new tire, then my exaughst turns out is not what he told me he put in and their work isn’t the best looking or the that great of quality. They left brackets off my exaughst system and the piping, well to say the least I went with them because of the financing, but none of it is worth the $ 1600 I now have to pay. I thought they would be great because everything is under one roof, the bad thing abou that is you don’t have who you need to work on certain things, they just do it all and it’s a mess!!! I hope they get their act together before it is too late because they are not doing well at all in this shop? I gave it two stars because I think Nick is a great people person and Robert seems to care about his work, don’t know all the other guys, seems like they all come and go? Definitely some shady stuff going on, don’t think I will be going back.

I recently upgraded my sound system in my 350z. I didn’t think the quality of the work would look as professional as it did but man was I surprised. The speakers, sub, and navigation system looks as if it was built in stock and sounds so clean! Along with the sound system, there were many small additions I requested which surprisingly they took care of every single one of them. I threw in some interior lighting, smoked my taillights, and even painted part of my bumper. I’ve always been skeptical with paint jobs but the staff member told me exactly what my options were and told me with paint you are getting what you pay for. The prices were still very reasonable and the finished paint job looks so professional. I was so impressed with the work they performed on my car that I needed to share this experience with others. It is difficult to find a shop that is honest, professional, and reasonable. As a car lover, let me just tell you that just by walking into this place, you will realize how much you are in good hands. Thank you platinum auto sports! You guys are true professionals!

Same crooks who own this place, owned the last 2 places and just changed the name. Wonder why you see NO NAVY brothas getting their cars worked on there? They ripped them all off including me. Faulty paint jobs and giving their customers the run around is how these guys do. At one point there were so many pissed off people looking for the owner MARC, he stopped coming up there in fear of getting his *** kicked. They must have a rich uncle in the middle east because I have no idea how they stay open since no one goes there. They still owe me a repaint… oh yeah that was under the last name they had… warranty null and void! Crooks Crooks Crooks
