Sonic Drive-In

It’s so unfortunate that so many people have had bad experiences here, especially since I really enjoyed my first visit at this location!
After watching a Sonic commercial, I told my boyfriend I wanted to go. (That must be some good advertising, huh?) I ordered what was showed in the commercial, also.
I got lil chickies and a lil doggie with a watermelon slush with popping candy, which is just poprocks. I ordered a large, but managed to get a route 44 size. My boyfriend was laughing at me because it was literally bigger than me. He got some meal (I forgot) with the onion rings (cost extra) and the onion rings were amazing. These were the best onion rings I’ve ever had from Sonic, and maybe in life. Why were they so perfect?!
The customer service is a lot better here than the one in Santee. I like this location more than the Santee one! I was very satisfied after eating. The only thing is that I wish they really filled that «large» bag of onion rings thoroughly!

So I just left this place and decided to check my bag when I got home. What a surprise I open the extra melted cheese I had asked for and that dumb girl Yetishia the cashier put this in my bag instead … This is not the first time. I don’t know where they hire these people from ! Lol

Sonic’s have a cool car hop which many enjoy. Your food is brought straight to your vehicle by a skating server. I rarely have time for that whole experience so the drive thru it is for me.
The staff always goes out of their way to at least appear happy and friendly. Although their food is mediocre, I tend to just come for their Sonic Blast or Slushes.
Pro tip: if you love their ice, they’ll sell you a bag for $ 5. Well worth it in the summer time.

This is the second time we have come here and our order has been forgotten. This time we waited 20 minutes. He finally came out with the excuse that they lost the receipt. He brought our food and had 2 coins on the tray for free drinks but never gave them to us. Took them with him. My buffalo chicken nuggets were like warm. We will not be back. Twice is more then enough to keep having screw ups like this.

I’m so stoked we finally have a Sonic close to home. the wait times can take forever… like In n Out forever. But I thinks it’s worth the wait

Drive thru takes F O R E V E R ! Literally 20 minutes wait and there was only 1 car ahead of me. 20 minutes for a order of buffallo bonless chicken. Rediculous.

drive true service was amazing! Our cashier was so polite and courteous. I’m so impressed.

I pretty much only come for the desserts the food isn’t that great.

Can’t go wrong with a Sonic slushee. They have soooo many to choose from that you never have to get the same drink twice. Service is usually swift and what could be better than delivery by a roller skating attendant? Great selection and a variety of options at good prices. Yippee.

Ordered thru drive thru, service was ok, but cheese sticks were cold, cheese was not runny melted and they did not pack any napkins in the bag. I loved the Asian boneless wings.

Honestly the worst! So we go to Sonic tonight and get a few hot dogs and I swear these dogs were absolutely disgusting! They must have been sitting all day long! I mean I just want to know how in the absolute FUCK, the kid that made these dogs did not see that these hot dogs looked disgusting ! Not only did we pay over $ 20 for a few dogs but we didn’t even get to eat them! I am posting a picture of Just a few for everyone to see the type of absolute Fuckery that goes on at Sonic ! Never again! This is strike 2 and I don’t believe in 3 strikes !

Right away when you push the red button a friendly voice attends to you and got everthing down right ;) food comes out according to what you order im sure more food more wait time its obvious. I ordered the #2 no pickles no tomatoes with a Hi-​C drink and a pretzel cheese dog. Baes got the #10 grilled large coke tater tots and a chicago dog. The food was awesome. The grilled chicken sandwich had a lot of flavor and the hot dog… nigguh! On point. I kept robbing baes tots i think they were better than my fries. What i liked about sonics is my food came out by a friendly guy with roller blades!!! real laid back guy of. course i seemed to. fogort his name and the. guy taking the orders Esteban… thanks so much:) loved their customer. service!!! Ended up going through the drive thru right after to order the oreo & cake in a cone… omgggg best $ 4 ive spent on ice cream in a while i had an orgasim in my mouth no lie!

FOOD POISING
I stop by last night with my fiancé at 9:30pm. We order 2 nerd slushies and a cheese burger with a side of tater tots.
Unfortunately my fiancé was up all night with FOOD POISING. He only eat half. I can only images what the whole cheese burger would of done to him. I will defiantly not be coming back.

Their food isn’t what I thought it was going to be. For the same quality and cheaper price, I might as well gone to a gas station for a burger or hot dog.
The only thing that’s worth the wild would be the shakes and slushies.
Although, this location messes up way too much. I ordered a strawberry with banana shakes and waited about fifteen minutes in the drive thru with only two other cars in front of me. I recieved a plain vanilla shake. Wow.

I should of read these reviews before going here. I ordered an oreo shake. There was about 3 cars ahead of me. All I see in there are stupid kids laughing walking around trying to look busy. It does not take 20 minutes to make one shake. As usual with any shake it’s difficult to use the straw at first so I take of the lid. As I use a spoon and to scoop some of the shake and cherry out I feel and unusual texture in my mouth. I spit it out and find it to be CHICKEN IN MY SHAKE! It looked like chicken it could have been something else. Either way it was nasty as hell!
I got to speak with the manager. He gave me a refund and a coupon for two free shakes. Why would I want to go back? No thanks.
And a sonic commercial just came on, FML! I guess that’s how you sonic.

So prior to today this local Sonic had just messed up my order by forgetting or giving me the wrong order. Today at the bottom of my fries case was a deep fried bug… WTF! 7 NEGATIVE STARS never eating @ sonics again

Came here for dinner tonight. Husband had coupons for this place. First, you place your order through the speakers near the tables, and then they bring out the food. You pay the guy when he comes out. I had a hamburger. It had lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and lots of pickles. I don’t care for too much pickles. The meat does not have much flavor. Then, I had some chili cheese tater tots. I only cared for the tater tots and cheese. The chili tasted like something out of a can. I did not like the chili. I also had a chili dog. The hot dog wasn’t cooked all the way. The chili dog wasn’t great either. I was starving and when I am hungry, I can eat anything even though the taste of my food is not great. Food is just average. Food tasted more like cafeteria food.
However, I did enjoy my drink. I got a Sunshine berry which had pieces of strawberry combined with strawberry soda. Sonics is known for their drinks and desserts. The drink was the best part. I wish I could have sampled some dessert.
Service was okay. Our food came out quickly. We dined outside on the tables since I did not want to eat in my car. We did not want to sit outside too long cause it was getting cold, so we left as soon as we were done eating.

I don’t really like their hot food, but I LOVVVVEEEEE their shakes and cold drinks
The reason why I don’t like their hot food is cause most of their food are dry & way too oily for my taste… Yuck
Oh! And if it’s your first time at sonic, just remember that there is no indoor seating. They only have the drive thru & park n order area where you can enjoy your meal in your car.

FREAKING ADDICTED TO SONIC DRINK STATION!
I am a drink-​aholic and so Sonic definitely speaks to me! I tried this new location several times — one right after it opened and several other times since then. Each time I have been assisted in an more than efficient manner. The drive thru was backed up when I visited that way and they provided these tokens to get a free medium drink for the wait. Ok… yes please.
That being said — I have actually finally tried the Sonic Cheeseburger from this location and it is actually pretty yummy… very messy but also very flavorful and it is a ¼ lb patty…
Tots have never come out hot from this location but I am sure they are able to – they are just often very busy.
The carhops at this location are extremely attentive, pleasant and efficient.
Love my some unsweetened tea with blackberry, the Hawaiian Wave and Summer Berry Splash, Diet or Regular Limeades in all flavors, ADDICTED to the AM Spark even loving the nerd add-​ins in the slushes. See what I mean about drinks? I always leave with a drink carrier full for just me! HA HA Their cups hold the ice well overnight if kept in the fridge!
Happy Hour is 2 – 4 PM – half off all drinks (yes you read that right) and 99 Cent Corn dogs — cant remember the other specials.
If you can visit before 10 AM it is the morning drink stop and all larges are 99 Cents.

I know Sonic Drive-​in is called that for a reasoned, but I am still baffled why they do not provide inside seating. I don’t like to eat in my car, and what id it’s raining cold outside on the patio? I guess I don’t go then. Fortunately, the weather was fair on my visit and I had to order from their thing-​a-​machine outside (
).
What I ordered was the Grilled Chicken Sandwich on a wheat ciabatta bun with a side of onion rings and an ice tea (
). The grilled chicken was well prepared and tender. The bacon was crispy, and even though there were on two slices, it made its presence known with it good flavor (
). The wheat ciabatta was better than I expected to be. It was very moist and soft and tasted great. It is a very good choice for this sandwich.
The onions were interesting. After a few bites, I realized they had a sweet after taste, and after I inquired, I learned from of the young ladies wheels that indeed they put sugar into the batter, so keep that in mind if you are watching your sugar intake. The rings never the less had a good golden brown fry and crust (
). They were crunchy and the whole onion rings inside were tender, but as a whole, I could of done without the sweetness of the batter.
Service was pretty prompt and friendly. The young lady who brought my food, answered my questions, and re filled my iced tea was great.
