I bought the Groupon for this place also and have been unable to book it for months. Incredibly rude on the phone like I am bothering them and they are doing me a favor by selling me a groupon. Bottom line: DON’T OFFER A GROUPON IF YOU CANNOT ACCOMODATE!!!

Very unprofessional. I cannot NOT recommend this place enough. I hate to give bad reviews, however the receptionist and manager were quite rude so here goes.
My advice for potential customers:
Don’t do it. Don’t risk it. They are rude and unprofessional. Your appointment could get randomly cancelled, and they might be unapologetic about it — so tough luck!
Here’s what happened:
–Made an appointment in May for July (the earliest I could get because they block out weekends for groupons despite not mentioning this in the groupon)
–Called to confirm the time and was told that my appointment was cancelled. No explanation, no discussion. It was in the system, she could see it, but it’s been cancelled.
–To resolve this there was no apology, there was no offer to rebook or fix the situation. The manager would not respond. Instead I was told to call Groupon
Having just moved to the area, sadly I’m still looking for a new hairdresser. I thought Franco might be it, but instead he’s also the rude manager who refused to try resolve my issue.
Very unprofessional.
My advice for Luce:
–Be clear in your Groupons about any policies that you have (such as not offering services on weekends for groupon customers). Angering customers is not a good way to get new ones, or keep returning ones.
–Communications 101 and computer training for the staff: Randomly cancelled appointment with no communication and no apology (after months of waiting)!? There’s no excuse for this. Not discussing it? ditto. The receptionist also interrupts and doesn’t listen well.
Yeesh!

this was the worst salon I’ve been to in my entire life! be warned! do not ever buy any from or even visit it!
first of all, I got the groupon for 99 $ for cut, full color, full highlights n treatment. called in April, receptionist put me on hold for 5 mins, hung up on me, I called back n said the stylist is booked till last week of June! so I just booked it silly me who forgot to read reviews before I bought the Groupon or booked the appt.
anyways came in, franco the owner of the salon, «consulted me what to do with my hair. I wanted med-​light ombré on my dark hair, totally discouraged it cuz he wanted the easy way out n talked me into getting dark ombré so it «looks more natural». So told him I wanted only 3 – 4 inches off my hair, he cut 8 inches off! wtf right? I was like this look really short, was it 3 – 4 inches, he just looks and smiles at me n said «what do u think ?» like seriously? so rude n unapologetic!
So after the coloring, I noticed it was too dark n no color change n my tips were not any much lighter than rest of my hair. only after I went home did I see that the dye job was uneven n blotchy! after he put my hair in rollers, he left me there for 40 mins while he worked on his regular customers! so I didn’t even get the chance to see how the cut n layers were. I got home n the layers were uneven n the bottom was one flat straight across! layers are suppose to look even n pointy at the end. I called them after 2 days cuz I could not do anything with this hair cut n color! they hung up on me again! called back n said it was dropped services! then wanted to have them fix my hair, took my #down for franco to call me back, his receptionist called me back again next day not franco saying that he will lighten my tips in 1 month, or I can come back in 1.5 months to touch up roots n fix the tips for a discounted price! really? 1 month? what kind of solution it’s this going to do? n what about my butch haircut? she said oh she doesn’t kno, she’ll have franco call me back…3 says later he didn’t call yet.
this was a waste of 100 n they expect me to tip 20 percent of actual value which they said was 400! which was 80 $$, i tipped him 40 n that was more than good enough considering how he messed up my beautiful long hair! I doubt he will ever call me back based on his past experiences on here. So don’t waste your time, money, energy for this salon!

I had a similar experience, I have been trying to book an appt with the Groupon I bought for about a month now. I am always put on hold.
Only certain stylists can be booked with the Groupon & even they take only one Groupon per day. I had already made an appt for a date about 2 weeks out but when the receptionist found out I have a Groupon, she said that date would not work and she did not have another appt for a month! When I asked why, she openly told me that they can take only one Groupon per day. Salons should not sign with Groupon if they are no interested in getting their customers.

i got a groupon deal for cut and highlight. took a while to schedule. they said they are booking 5 weeks out. i don’t know if it’s just for groupon customers or for everyone, but on the day of my appointment, i was the only customer there. the phone rang a lot but other than that, no action. the staff gives you the cold shoulder the entire time i was there. i am wondering if they treat everyone like that, or just groupon customers. no nice reception that you would expect from a full service salon, rude questions, felt like i was being admonished, like crossing my legs. when i asked her why, she said well you don’t want your hair to be uneven. never heard of that excuse before. Rude and Cold and do not seem to care at all. No wonder they offer Groupon, who would go there without a deal?

In a nutshell: Scheduling for a groupon is a nightmare, but the experience is amazing, and Franco really knows what he is doing with hair. I will absolutely return (and have actually booked another appointment already).
Story:
So, I bought a groupon before reading the Unilocal reviews, which has gotten me into trouble before, but this time I’m so glad that I bought it. I got the «transformation» groupon which included a bunch of things for $ 99. It was AWESOME. My hair looks AWESOME. Seriously, I will upload a picture, it’s awesome.
My only complaint with the salon is that they seem to struggle with scheduling things. Every time I call they put on hold immediately. Also, it took me 2 months to schedule this appointment, and the next appointment they had was 3 months from that. All totaled, I have been dreaming about this appointment since February (it’s June). I kid you not, 5 months in the making. For me, it was worth it, because I was growing my hair out anyway, but I could see that being too excessive for some people.
Anyway, scheduling aside, I turned up to the salon (which was super clean, quiet, and peaceful) and they took me right away, even though I was early. Franco is like… the kindest, nicest, best hairstylist ever. He listened to what I told him, made suggestions, and really made sure that he knew what I wanted, and I knew what I was getting, and how it would look. I know literally nothing about hair, and he patiently and nicely explained how different things worked and how they would look after a couple weeks (maintenance is a big issue for me). He is super thorough with hair, and it shows.
This is literally the best hair cut I’ve ever gotten, and definitely the most adventurous color I’ve ever gotten, but I never felt pressured, worried, or concerned while at the salon. Every decision was run by me and I felt completely comfortable with Franco’s skills and judgment.
I ended up with an amazing red/​violet head of hair, in a super cute cut, and I’m going back in 5 weeks because I cannot live without this.

I love this salon! Its clean, the staff is very professional and friendly and attentive, and they do great work! I don’t know why people have been having problems with the groupon. I went in to get a hair cut and a single process color done with the groupon deal (which was a GREAT value btw). Franco cut my hair and did an amazing job. He was very friendly. He worked really hard and was very detail oriented. The color looks awesome and my hair feels soft and looks so shiny! I am definitely going to be going back for another appointment :)

I’m not one to complain, but this Groupon was a mistake. I’ve been trying to make an appointment for the $ 99 Groupon I purchased, but I’m on hold at least 5 mins. every time I call. Before I even bought the Groupon I called to make sure they had Saturday hours and was told, Yes, they would take the Groupon deal on Saturdays. I’m now told I can only make an appointment for Tuesday or Friday and it will be at least 4 weeks before I can come in. Today I was told the stylist will just call me in a few days.
So I bought a Groupon and probably won’t get to use it until next year. Very Poor Customer Service. I even called Groupon and they weren’t much better.

This was a Groupon cut color condition that was only worth what I paid for it, because of a pretty good cut. I showed up 10 minutes early, the stylist showed up ½ hour late and was double booked. He arrived with nary an apology.
Backing up, the receptionist ignored me standing in front of her for a full 10 minutes while taking calls. She then took 10 minutes trying to look up my appointment. When the second client showed up, she tried to tell me that my appointment, which the salon confirmed on my home machine yesterday, wasn’t for another hour while telling the second client that «he» isn’t in yet.
I was immediately talked out of highlights and into single process color to match my highlighted blonde hair, which was in poor condition due to home coloring during an economic setback. I can’t help think he simply took the easy way out to juggle two clients. Rather then foil the color in, as I have had other stylist due rather then bleach, he slopped it on the roots only and let it rest for 45 minutes, while he took care of his regular client.
Unless the specialty conditioner that is marketed as a $ 30 value was put in my hair for 20 seconds between shampoo and rinsing, it never happened. And from the condition of my hair from this morning to this afternoon, there is no way I had a $ 30 conditioning application.
The haircut was seems pretty good. But it takes a day or two to know. So for a $ 49 Groupon, I got ignored by the receptionist, an unapologetic half hour wait from the stylist, a compromised time saving application, and a Loreal preference type strawberry blonde root touchup that would have cost me $ 10 at home.
This was no bargain of my time or money. I enjoyed the non pampering style of my stylist. And I enjoyed his quick work with the scissors, as the quicker I am out of the chair the happier I am. But it is clear that my experience was compromised and I didn’t get what was promised.
I cannot help but think that these salons and stylists are missing the point — which is winning over new clients. This is my second salon experience with Groupon. Both have failed to cater to me, but rather put up with me.
Although I was rather forcefully encouraged on the phone when I made the appointment to bring cash to tip on the full ‘value’ of this service, which is $ 175, I think I was very generous leaving $ 15 since they stylist never even acknowledged being a half hour late and keeping me waiting and then not bothering giving me $ 175 worth of services.
EDIT: After allowing time to pass and further inspection, the roots I showed up with this morning are the roots I left with, only they are a few shades lighter and strawberry blonde/​orange instead of a cooler blonde to match my hair.
EDIT: I just colored the orange crap that Michel put on my hair with a Loreal product and it is much better. I will try the Loreal highlights next week. The haircut was not very good and ended up being choppy in a bad way. And I like choppy.
Do yourself a favour and avoid this salon and the stylist that thinks he is an artist, Michel

I really loved my experience here. I got the Groupon deal for hot stone spa pedicure and paraffin manicure. The technician’s name was Suk and she was really friendly and professional. The pedicure was incredibly relaxing and paint job looks great. The mani also looks great, and the paraffin made my hands super soft. Suk went above and beyond, giving me a leg/​foot massage and then an arm/​neck/​shoulder massage as well. All of the staff were very friendly and the salon was very clean and decorated nicely. Parking lot was an added bonus. I would definitely return!

I came here with a Groupon for a paraffin manicure and hot stone pedicure — only $ 35. I didn’t know what to expect, but it’s down the street from my work so I figured I’d give it a try. Suk did a great job! It was relaxing and pleasant — I got massages on legs, feet, neck, shoulders and hands. Paint job looks nice — no complaints here, very happy with the experience. They also gave a small gift bag thanking me for coming in with a travel size shampoo and conditioner. Give this place a try!
