Come and see what the Hillside Thrift Shop has to offer! Everyone is welcome to shop and enjoy the best bargains in town. The Thrift Shop offers «new-​to-​you» clothing, accessories, and unique and everyday household items at a nominal charge. Our shoppers are extremely pleased with the bargains that they find. The Needham Community Council is a private non-​profit organization which supports people in Needham who have under-​met health, educational or social needs and promotes volunteerism,

community and a sense of shared responsibility.

We provide short term, emergency assistance of a non-​medical nature and a variety of programs to support all ages within the Council’s capabilities through programs such as ESL tutoring, Needham’s Food Pantry, the Hillside Thrift Shop, a medical equipment loan program, and more.

History

Established in 1930.

Our motto, «People Helping People.» has been well known in our community since our inception in 1930.

Our programs have adapted continually over the years but our mission remains the same — to extend hospitality to every Needham neighbor who turns to us with a need.
