Blvd Bagels

I’ve tried a bunch of bagel places in the nesconset area recently, and this one is the best. My go-​to by my house is in Freeport which I’d argue is the best bagel place in Nassau county, but this one is tops for Suffolk from what I’ve found so far!
The egg everything bagel is so flavorful and soft on the inside. Price per bagel is 95cents, and then cream cheese or whatever you put on yours. I had a bagel with cream cheese and it was $ 2.12.
It’s in a small strip plaza with parking. Convenient to 347 if you have a few minutes to head south.

This place is the best e v e r! Freshest bagels and hands down amazing egg sandwiches! You can tell the bagels are baked fresh every morning, apparently that’s hard to find these days! The egg sandwiches are off the charts! Staff is always friendly! The only place I’ll get bagels from!!!

There’s no bagel shops In st. james right now so we have been switching from 24 hour bagels and here. This morning I could not believe the tone one of the workers was taking with a customer, I don’t even think she meant it, I assume that’s just how she is, but let me tell you, if it were me she was talking to, I would have made a big stink. The bagels were good but the older women working there was quite rude

I love this place. Service is great and everyone is friendly. Bagels are DELICIOUS. I will drive out of my way to go to Blvd Hot Bagel even though I live across the street from another bagel place.

Came with a killer hangover, left with a food baby. Best egg sandwiches on the island! Fast, friendly service and reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quality NY bagel/​egg sandwich.

Plenty of places around here to get bagels, but these are the best around. Who cares about service, frills? Just get in line, give them your order and pay and get on your way! Give me great bagels-​keep the fluff!

The food here is okay, but it really depends what staff makes it. I’ve gotten a chicken sandwich from this place twice and the second time the girl at the counter had no idea how to make a buffalo chicken sandwich, the other staff are too busy talking and joking around with each other then serve customers. Probably why they are always packed on Sundays

Best bagel place in town!
I was out of town for a while and couldn’t find good bagel anywhere, came back for a visit and this little gem was still here serving great food.

A decent place to grab a fresh bagel and coffee. Luckily Long Island is full of places like these and it’s one of the reasons I love NY.
The morning egg sandwiches are pretty fresh along with the bagels. I enjoy their lox spread as well. Check it out if you’re in the area!

Very good bagels and selection. Had lunch a few times from there too and it was good. Staff is usually very friendly. Can’t eat there cause there is like only one table inside but they do have a few tables outside on the sidewalk. I usually get it to go.
They make great egg sandwiches as well.

Been coming here since they opened in 1996 and one of my favorite bagels in Suffolk.
The selection of flavors is excellent, they taste very good just as I prefer.
My favorite is Egg Everything with Cream Cheese, they stuff the bagel with CC so much I usually buy an extra EE and make 2 out of it.
The coffee is always fresh and hot and good for dunking. Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are loaded with generous amounts of meats and cheeses,
They are a little pricier than other local bagel shops but so worth the trip. They do get busy during the am rush and weekends but usually have ample amount of counter help to assist you and get you to bagel euphoria as soon as possible.

Best bagel I’ve had in suffolk, but the problem is the staff sucks. They’re slow, and they spend more time talking to each other, than they do making food. This makes for huge lines, which don’t worry, doesn’t make them work any faster. They also can’t apparently tell the difference between under and overcooked bagels. Or maybe they’re too busy talking to each other to listen to orders.
They increased prices a few months back, making an egg sandwich like $ 6 now, which is ridiculous.

I have been here a couple times in the past but never remember it standing out as a good bagel place. When I drove by a few days ago and saw the best of long island banner 2 years running I figured I should try it again. Well, I’m not sure who was voting them best, maybe they have a very large extended family because the bagel I had was supermarket good at best. Very pale and undercooked. Soft like a hamburger roll. Not a fan.

Bagels and breakfast stuff
I don’t know why, but this place seems to have won the «Best» category in the LI Press for 2012… oh wait, I know why: it was the Long Island Press… really, although not bad, this place certainly doesn’t live up to «the best of» anything.
Bagels are decent — not bad, not great. Selection was ok, but to me, they were light years behind the competition. So, you ask, maybe they concentrate then on a smaller selection and that being the case, they are really yummy? Nope. Standard selection of merely passable bagels.
Bagel with butter: hardly any butter. I can go both ways on that as I am also leery of places that put a pound of butter on… so let’s call this a preference thing. I like enough butter to lube the olé esophagus to let a baked piece of bread slide down my throat while also not having enough butter to give me arteriosclerosis; they err on the low end.
Service was slow as slow. Seemed like they were all moving in slow motion.
Coffee was good.
Prices average.

Very good bagels. I have been here the last few times we’ve gotten bagels and haven’t been disappointed yet. Bagels are always fresh, crispy, and in abundance. Cream cheese is delicious and may varieties to chose from.

Great bagels, quick service, not much else you can aak for. Oh great coffee too.

I cringe when people say that they have the BEST bagel store where ever they live… Because it’s not the truth. My friends from out of state ALWAYS have me traveling with bagels to bring to them, specifically from this place. I’ve flew with bagels to Florida, Vermont, and upstate NY per the request of my friends NEEDING these bagels.
This place has the best bagels on Long Island. They even won an award last year title «BEST BAGEL ON LONG ISLAND.»

I have been going to Blvd Bagels for years. They are wonderful.
Nino is great and makes you want to go back each time. There panini’s are great. Everything us always fresh. Highly recommend it.

I’m not much of a bagel sandwich fan, but it was fine at that time. My husband’s grandparents took us here for breakfast and it was a mom and pop’s place. The service was quick over the counter and I was pleased with my egg, cheese, and sausage sandwich. It was huge and I couldn’t eat all of it. I would hate to be there in the winter time… brrrrrr!

Super fast counter people. The vegetable cream cheese has crunchy vegetables in it. The Onion bagel was fluffy with a chewy goodness outside. Generally I’m not a fan of the fluffy bagel. Blvd somehow maintain a good taste and chewy texture.
