I have visited this small organic shop twice. They sell organic herbs, game meat, local honey, bath products, homeopathic treatments and they have a very small selection of organic groceries. Their prices seem lower than Rainbow Blossom or Whole Foods. However, after two visits I highly doubt I’ll go back anytime soon because the customer service is horrible. During my first visit one of the owners followed my boyfriend and myself around the store after we told them that we didn’t need assistance. I purchased two bars of soap and they gave me a pamphlet of literature on Christian salvation. During my second visit I took an out of town friend who has a strong interest in organic food and homeopathic remedies. All of their herbs are sold from unlabeled glass jars. She asked the owner a few questions about one of the herbs. He wouldn’t tell her anything about what the herb was used to treat other than«a variety of things». When she asked where they sourced their herbs he told her«oh here and there». She had no interest in buying any of their herbs after that as she was concerned with whether the herbs were sourced locally, from a reputable seller, etc. This shop may be more cost effective and closer to my home than some of the other Organic markets but I would much rather pay a little bit more and drive a little further for better customer service.
