Hines Park Ford

Well I tried them again and just as crappy as before. They advertise a «quick oil change» but I was told i would have to leave it over night. They don’t take appointments so… this place is awful!

I question the integrity of the service department with female customers. Once a year, when my husband’s work schedule does not allow him to bring his own vehicle in for service, I bring it in for him. (I drive a Chevy and get my vehicle serviced elsewhere) On each occasion I am approached during the routine oil services I am there for about additional services they recommend. As it is my husband’s vehicle I declined and ask them to write it up to convey the message — this was several months ago.
Just last week he returned for his next oil change on the vehicle (with no repairs performed in the interim) and the mystery oil leak nor the break work they reviewed with me came up during his visit. They instead offered him a replacement cabin filter which he truly did need. Why did they estimate $ 300+ in bogus services for me and an honest $ 20 item for him? Last year I shrugged it off, but this glaringly obvious lapse in character appalls me. I will never shop for a vehicle here and strongly discourage any women I know from considering doing any business here sales or service.

Love every aspect of this dealership! From my sales person Craig Carlson to «Super» Joe in the service dept. Every experainace is A+!

Dave in the service department treated me like a valued customer from his initial greeting, to promptly writing up the service order, to calling me a few hours later to let me know what repairs were needed and the cost. He was helpful and friendly. The next day he called when my car was ready, and the cashier who is also excellent with customer service took my payment and had my car brought around right away. I also appreciated the shuttle service that dropped me off at home when I brought the car in for service.

My experience with Hines Park was terrible. I scheduled an appointment to test drive/​purchase a 2013 Ford Taurus SEL with 77,000 miles. I spoke with the dealership several times to confirm and informed them my home was an hour away, thus I did not want to waste the trip. My wife and myself started the drive and hit construction. I called the dealership and informed them of the delay. They informed us the car was still available and take your time. When we arrived we were informed the car was sold, but they could show us a 2011 with 89,000 for the same price. Wow what a bargain! They didn’t even try to up sale me to a new model. I understand that things like this happen, but the total disregard for customer service was appalling. After a long day at work for the two of us not to receive a call saying, «We’re sorry for the mistake. Don’t continue your drive,» knocked the wind out of me. They offered a $ 50.00 gift card for the trouble, which I declined. I guess I’m more hurt than anything. Nothing else to say.

I’d just like to say that my recent experience purchasing a 2016 Escape from Chris Soutar was a pleasure. It was by far the best car-​buying experience I’ve ever had. Now our third purchase/​lease from Chris at Hines Park. Chris was patient, knowledgeable, and efficient in every phase of the sales process. I can’t possibly say enough good things about Chris, so I’ll just finish by saying that I will definitely be referring other prospective buyers to Chris Soutar and Hines Park Ford.

A++++ Job!!! Took my 2014 Ford Fusion in for repair and they used amazing service. They helped me get a loner car when State Farm screwed up their paper work & Hines Park fixed everything in perfect timing.

I have been having service done at this dealership for about five years now after getting my Fusion out of state. They have always been polite, done a good job on the car, without pushing me into extraneous services, and at a fair price. They also have a rewards program that (gasp) actually saves you money. When I get my next Ford, it will be at Hines Ford. If they treat me this well when I didn’t even buy the car from them, I know they are a dealership Ivan trust.

Sales department is okay. I tried lease a car a couple years back but had troubles communicating effectively with the sales team.
Had a issue with my Fusion where the heat would work intermittently and took it to their service department. But since it wasn’t acting up the day I took it in I was told, «there is nothing we can do».

Took my 2015 Mustang in to Hines Park Collison after I took a piece of debris on the highway to the hood of my car. I live out of state now, but was back in town for business. Was able to repair my hood back to looking like new in 2−½ days. All in all good experience. Quality work (Aluminum BTW for those who are worried about that). Would recommend them.

Had a minor issue with an estimate charge, service manager replied to email quick and resolved.

Quick Lane tire and auto service center does a good job servicing my vehicles at a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had some custom work done on my 15′ Mustang at Hines Park Ford Collision. Overall, a very good experience. Bryan at the collision shop was a pleasure to work with. They were very accommodating, and they had really good pricing on parts and labor. I would recommend the body shop to anyone. Pleasant experience.

This is where I go for work on my F250 and my husband’s F150. I have to say they are great. I always feel like they are honest with me and never try to talk me into anything that the trucks don’t need. I have even been able to just buy parts from them when my husband can do the work himself. I have also gotten calls from them after the work has been preformed to make sure everything is running okay. I’ve had Tom Hotzler Ford treat me and my husband like crap, lie to us and screw us over. This dealership is 1000 times better.

Picked up my new 2014 Escape yesterday & love it. This is the 8^th or 9^th vehicle I have bought from HP Ford as both my husband & myself always call Delores Sciberras when we want a new car. This time I decided to buy the new Escape without having my husband around & it is the BEST experience ever. Delores & I chatted about what I wanted & she even made a few suggestions. I did decide on the Titanium which has everything except the tow package. Delores even called the ins. co. & had the proof of in.
Delores is the best sales person I have ever had & will continue to purchase my Ford products from HP & Delores.

One star only because ZERO is not an option.
I first purchased vehicles from Hines Park Lincoln/​Mercury beginning in the 80s. Some time ago we were in the market for several new vehicles. The experience was infuriating, the treatment we received was degradiing and inexcusable.
One of the vehicles was a ‘Certified Pre-​Owned’ Ford that was displayed in their showroom. When it came time to take delivery, they claimed they could not locate the title. It took them nearly two weeks to come up with the title (???). When it came time to pay for this vehicle and take delivery, they tried to give us a different vehicle (same color but a completely different vehicle). It could have been a simple mistake, but considering everything else that was mishandled, it could have been a bait & switch. I’ve never experienced such a thing at a car dealer. Attempting to deliver the wrong car?
After the ‘Certified Pre-​Owned’ Ford’ was delivered, it was not running properly and it stalled — a dangerous situation. They took the vehicle into service and performed several outstanding Ford Recall fixes. Ford’s website says that ‘Certified Pre-​Owned’ vehicles’ comes with a 172-​point inspection, CARFAX® Vehicle History Report and has had all Recalls performed. So at a minimum the outstanding recalls had not been done prior to sale. We also were provided with a vehicle history, but it was not a CARFAX, in fact it was a name I had never seen or heard of. A fake CARFAX. Beware.
Ford Motor Company outsourced their lease return inspections; they are now conducted by an ‘independent’ third party. Knowing this, I asked my salesperson to do a ‘walk-​around’ of the vehicle being returned, just to confirm it was in excellent condition with no damage, dents or scrapes. A few weeks later, I received a bill for $ 100 for a damaged windshield. I contacted the salesperson and reminded them that they inspected the vehicle with me and saw no damage. The $ 100 charge was dropped. Beware. Take lots of photos of your vehicle so you can document the condition.
During the weeks it took to take ownership of these vehicles (Yes, it took WEEKS), the salesperson was unresponsive and eventually stopped returning calls or emails.
In summary, the entire experience with this dealership turned into a nightmare. Keep in mind they delivered not one, but THREE vehicles and I had been a customer of theirs for more than three decades.
If this is how they treat a customer of more than 30 years, how do they treat first-​time customers? Caveat Emptor!!!

I’ve bought 2 trucks from my salesman Matt M. here. A friend recommended me years ago, and this is now my «go to» dealer for parts, service, etc.
In fact, when I was looking for a 2009 for F-​150 without a front bench seat, he took me to see a used 2008 F-​150. I was thinking like «ohh boy, here we go» BUT it only had 5,300 miles on it! It must have been repo’d or something? Doesn’t matter, it was love at first sight! It was EXACTLY what I wanted, except a model year older. No biggie, I saved a TON of money buying it AND got the 100,000 mile extended warranty with it! I picked it up the day before Thanksgiving in 2009 and I still have it today. Just crossed 80,000 miles a couple days ago actually.
Runs like a champ, never any major problems. And when I did bring it in for warranty work, everyone was friendly, got it done fast, and never any hassles. Same goes for parts too, I’m in and out fast!

I have used Hines Park Ford several time for their oil change/​tire rotation service («Works Package»). They have always done a good job. The «Quick Lane» is somewhat of a misnomer. Best to call ahead to see how busy they are. This is a smaller shop with good customer service but they can get busy. I usually plan to leave the car if I am going there on a Saturday.
I have also bought tires here. They guarantee the best price in town and I found that to be true.

I wish I could give them zero stars! We went there a year or so ago because my husbands car needed a new distributor. They quoted us some ungodly amount so I called my regular dealership in Howell. They quoted us $ 300 less! When I asked how this could be they said there was no reason for it since they use the same parts supplier and should be quoting the same amount for labor.
Anyways, I decided to have a friend fix it and was told by Hines Park that they would charge my battery so that I could get it to him and I could pick the car up in the morning. I got there in the morning and they told me my battery was bad and they couldn’t get it to charge that much but it would be fine to get it where I needed it to. They had been so nice over the phone when telling me they would take care of me and have it charged, now they were being kind of mean and nasty. Sure enough, I broke down less than a mile down the road…*sigh* When I got it to my friend, who has his own shop and is a real mechanic by the way, he says that the battery tested fine and that they must not have even attempted to charge it. What a bunch of $#@!*&$!
I have to say this dealership gets added to my list of businesses that I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to…
