Description

Specialties

Ted’s Frostop has been on Calhoun and Claiborne since 1955. The same delicious Frostop Rootbeer has been served ever since. We even brought back the iced Mug. The incredible Loto Burger is still the biggest seller on the Menu. It is home style burgers and fries at their best. But that’s not all at Ted’s Frostop. Big Breakfasts hit home for local workers, school bound families, and college students. With free Wi-fi it is even a chance to do last minute homework! For the grownups you can order a local favorite– Abita Beer.

History

Established in 1955.

Ted Sternberg opened his first Frostop in 1955. A diner/drive in with curb service was the hit of all ages at that time. Today the same diner personality is Ted’s. In 2011, Mr. Sternberg entered a well deserved retirement, selling the historic business to a group of business owners who have a determined image of what Ted’s can be once again.
