Passed this little restaurant a few times before I decided to pop in for a bite. It’s a very small restaurant(about 8 seats total), but they are big on deliveries. I can’t stress enough how amazing the food at this restaurant was. The fish was SOFRESH and the food is very fairly priced. This is as good as sushi gets. Will definitely be back both in person and via delivery.

Best avocado salad. Hands down. No where else will give you nearly as much avocado and the dressing they have goes perfectly with it. The rest of the food is good as well. The sushi has always been fresh every time I ordered and they do not skimp on the fish. The only negative was that the teriyaki beef was not the best. I would definitely recommend this place for sushi and, of course, the avocado salad

Surprised by all the positive reviews here. Thought the sushi was very average. One of my 9 rolls tasted a little fishy, which means the fish was bad. My friend actually discovered some bones in his. Would not order from here, there are other options nearby.

I have never ever ever had a terrible dirtbag delivery man experience than at this place. I feel violated almost. I ordered here a few times and this is the first time the delivery man seriously scared me. You scream at me on the phone and say«f — » and«s — »? And I paid you a tip to be a dick? I don’t think so. 6:30pm on Friday May 27 dirtbag delivery guy. The restaurant probably doesn’t give a crap. Don’t f — -ng shout at your customers nd throw dirtbag words at them. As for the food it left a sour taste in my mouth after their delivery guy managed to ruin everything about this sushi place. Last time I’m ordering. It’s fine if I ordered a roll or two I wouldn’t care but I ordered a sushi platter deluxe those things aren’t cheap and I’m paying extra for delivery… Now that’s messed up.

Very few sushi options near my office so I tend to order from here often when I’m craving a sushi fix. Incredibly fast delivery and they have never messed up my order. They have a wonderful lunch special which includes Miso soup or salad with the option of 2 or 3 sushi rolls and 3 pieces of sashimi. Very filling and very reasonably priced for the city.

I enjoyed their food poisoning special for dinner last night. Affordable sushi, but I’m still paying for it today. Try their«ika»(squid); pairs well with Ciprofloxacin.

I’m not quite sure whether it is because of the fact that delivery order in general underperforms, or I’m simply not at a good mood for fish, I did not quite enjoy my sushi box. Both the tuna rolls and the miso soup complementary were lack of flavor! Portion size was huge though, as I could only finish half of my box and already left pretty stuffed. The steamed broccoli with teriyaki sauce was at an OK level; however I would be really surprised if they mess up with a steamed dish. Delivery speed was quite fast nevertheless.

your average manhattan sushi spot, but what differentiates this place is their amazing lunch price. It’s truly a steal.

Ordered for delivery — came quickly and food was very good for its price. Got the spicy tuna roll and eel and avacado roll. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to go back to try more things !

The sushi was really good. I was surprised considering that it’s delivery. I will definitely order Adrain. Minus one star because I had multiple calls front the restaurant because they couldn’t find location despite writing clear directions in the online order.

Is this Nobu? Of course not. Nor is it Sushi by Gari. But it’s pretty darn good. Quality sushi at very reasonable prices. And really fast, courteous delivery. Ordering is so easy because their staff are so polite and patient. They are absolutely wonderful to deal with. Everything is beautifully packaged. Rolls are generous. Sushi is quality fresh. When you call, the staff is polite and coherent. Truly a perfect sushi delivery spot. Can’t recommend enough.

The best sushi/sashimi in Murray Hill, hands down. Love the $ 25 Sashimi deluxe… so filling and amazingly fresh all the time.

I needed to satisfy a sushi craving and decided upon Ginza because it was close to my hotel, offered takeout, was open whereas several others seemed to not be and also had good ratings. I ordered a spider roll, Godzilla roll, salmon avocado roll and edamame. Normally I gravitate towards the specialty rolls but it might have been a mistake to order two specialty rolls because my favorite by far was the simple salmon and avocado roll. It had a big serving of fish inside and the avocado was perfectly ripe and fresh. I enjoyed the Godzilla roll and the spider roll was probably my least favorite. The tempura seemed overdone and overall the roll was dry. I should’ve skipped the edamame my eyes were bigger than my stomach on this one. Plus they could’ve used some salt. I was only in the restaurant momentarily and it looked like there was seating for about ten people. It was clean though and the woman who helped me was extremely nice. Easy to find, decent prices(about $ 34 overall) and now I have a happy belly. I’ll count this one as a win

Get the sushi pizza! It’s delicious! It’s kind of a hole in the wall place and very«cozy». Barely any seats, because 95% of their orders are from deliveries. Tiffany the manager is so nice and accommodating. The sushi is fresh and they are willing to alter things if you don’t like certain things. Again, definitely get the sushi pizza! They are willing to do deliveries all the way to Chinatown. I always use them for catering big parties and they are never late!

Eh. Run of the mill Chinese owned Japanese sushi joint. Can’t complain much since all of these types of small delivery/take-out sushi restaurants are really almost indistinguishable from one another. The fish wasn’t any fresher than, say, Atoyama, which is also available for Seamless order(as is with almost everything in NYC). I wasn’t blown away but I also didn’t have high expectations until I saw that they had 4 stars on Unilocal — I honestly don’t think they deserve an extra star and I’ve given them one more than I would’ve because they gave spicy mayo without an extra charge(just wrote it as a side note in our Seamless order). I also liked how they didn’t put too much rice — there was more avocado and tuna/salmon than rice, which was a nice surprise. We all ordered something different and mine had fresh avocado in it, but the tuna avocado roll was a tad bit fishy — threw some out at the end. The salad was fine, dressing was good — also all very standard. Wish they’d give both soup and salad like most other places but, for the price, can’t really complain. I wouldn’t mind ordering from here again but it doesn’t warrant a glowing review.

I moved into my apartment around the corner from here on August 1st. This just so happened to be the exact day that Ginza had a fire that put it out of commission until the winter. I was a little peeved at Ginza for bringing 12 fire trucks to my block while I was trying to lug my stuff up my 2 floor walk-up but I guess they were probably a bit more peeved that day seeing as they were on fire. Fair enough, I suppose. Ginza was recommended to me by a friend a few months ago. I was on my way home from work and disaster struck. .. my stomach growled and it was clear that I was hungry. I had approximately 15 minutes to get ready for a hot date with #brian and knew that chugging beers may be involved. I struggle with the whole drinking and not eating thing so I knew I needed something good, and I needed it quick. I called Ginza and asked if they could have my 3 rolls of sushi ready in 15 minutes. «15 minutes? Why not 5 instead?». Indeed, my sushi was ready 5 minutes from the time I called. It was exactly what I needed and has been my go-to takeout spot in the area. I have eaten at the restaurant once. As the other reviews have mentioned, it is a teeny place. It probably sits around 10 people at a max. It was still a nice experience as it was clean and nice. The food is great. I always get sushi. They have good 3 roll combo specials which are always my favorite. I also always get a piece of sushi, and my go-to is the spicy lobster. Murray«Thrill» struggles with having decent food, but this is one of the best in the area.

It seems like a lot of people have gotten take-outs from 251 Ginza Sushi, and they certainly delivered on so many aspects, from timely delivery to high quality/taste food! I ordered lunch for 10 people, and the food was delivered right on time, everything was labeled precisely, and there were no missing items. I had the Any Three Rolls lunch special with three sushi. From a long list of options, I opted for the Salmon + Avocado, Tuna + Avocado, and Yellowtail + Scallion for the rolls and Salmon Roe, White Tuna, and Sweet Shrimp for my sushi. I also got them with brown rice(additional $ 0.50 per roll, but totally worth it). There was generous amount of fish in each bite, and the everything tasted fresh. The miso soup that came on the side was a little bland, but it wasn’t the highlight of the meal anyways so that was fine. I didn’t like the white fish(seaweed on the outside) roll, but the salmon and tuna rolls were both delicious and the creaminess of the ripe avocado was perfect addition to the rolls.
