My wife and I have been looking for our starter apartment for a few years. We got into a habit of checking the nytimes and streeteasy almost every day. Yet the prices seemed to keep rising and the inventory we were seeing kept getting more and more depressing. A friend introduced us to Alex and he showed us a few nice places, but nothing came of it. And then a couple of weeks later Alex calls about a place we’ve never seen listed anywhere, we checked it out and it was our dream home! It had the outdoor space we wanted, the square footage, the doorman, the roof deck, it was even in Manhattan while we we thought we were outpriced and were looking in Brooklyn, Astoria and LIC. Even the price was somehow a bit lower than our budget. It was bizarre. We immediately made an offer and now it’s our home, and we’ve started a family there. Somehow, Alex had a relationship, an exclusive I guess that no one else had or put on the market. I can’t thank this guy enough. If it wasn’t for him, we’d be raising our kids in a rental, or Ridgewood or something. I’ve met a few real estate agents before and there’s never been a guy I could trust to represent us, to work hard for us, to look after and negotiate for us like this guy. I’m a huge fan.
