Established in 2015.

Drawing its name from the Greek word «mou» — a term of affection for a younger loved one– Amali Mou is the little sister restaurant to Amali.

While it offers the same commitment to sustainability and wine as its forebear, Amali Mou draws inspiration from the souvlazidikos and beachside fare served throughout Santorini, Mykonos and the Aegean islands.

In keeping with those dining traditions, Amali Mou offers a focused menu of modern greek fare that includes gyros, mezes, market salads and over 35 wines, beers and cocktails.

I had the chicken gyro sandwich & fries a ten. The gyro was flavorful, affordable ($ 12) and filling and the fries were cooked to perfection!
Amali Mou is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood and the most underrated vendor in the Vanderbilt food hall.

Awesome dips, delicious Chicken Gyro which is great when grabbing something before heading home after work. They also have a really cool and different wine selection. My first time trying Orange wine and it was delicious.
Whats nice about this is that its different from majority of other vendors in the food hall since it feels like a bit more of an upscale fast casual type of product and service. And, honestly, good wine helps everything.
Heard good things about the salads which is next on my list.

Chicken gyro: Delicious, moist and juicy chicken sitting inside an incredibly soft pita. The herbs and white sauce made the gyro super flavorful. Best part — thick and lightly flavored fries inside the sandwich! Extremely satisfying

YES!!! My favorite location from the Garment District Market is now in a permanent location. Everything on this menu is great, pork gyro is my go to.
This place is also a great stop for after work as their wine list is a refreshing change from the craft beers that you find everywhere.

I ordered the village salad with a side of chicken — $ 18 for a salad that consisted of 2 small pieces of chicken, chunks of tomato, and cucumber. So disappointing, definitely not worth the price.

Amali Mou serves Greek platters in the UrbanSpace Vanderbilt food court. The line and the menu here tends to be short, offering gyros ($ 12), platters ($ 16-​$ 17), dips ($&), and salads ($ 8 – 17). Personally, I think the price point is high, so it took me a long time to try the food here. Eventually I stopped in for dinner and after long deliberation, ordered the «Village» salad with pork on top. With juicy tomatoes, feta, olives, onion, and cucumber, mixing with fatty and flavorful grilled pork, the dish was expensive ($ 17) but a hearty dinner that was low on the carbs. Haven’t tried everything else, but that one salad is a winner as long as their tomato supplier keeps the quality up through the winter!

Oh my goodness. Maybe it was a bad day? I ordered the chicken pita wrap and could not finish it. It was so dry, the pita bread broke into pieces bc it wasn’t even soft enough to wrap. The chicken was super dry and there wasn’t even that much of it in the wrap. The French fries were dry too! This was nowhere close to being worth $ 10+.

I had the pork gyro sandwich and it was uh-​mazing. Tons of flavor, great portion of high quality food, and for a great price.
Yes, there are a bazillion options in the Vanderbilt food hall… but do yourself a favor and stop by Amali Mou.

Staff is nice but the food is terrible. Had the chicken wrap. Very little chicken and what there was of it was greasy and fatty. Most of what was in the wrap was soggy French fries. Guaranteed to give you indigestion. Very overpriced.
