No organization at all. Everyone seems to be on a different page as far as assisting the customers. Their cashier needs to be guided to ring up the orders, looks very confused. Can’t really tell on who is really supposed to be cooking and taking orders. There is a lack of customer acknowledgement, they just ask«what do you want?». You would get better service from the guy outside with the halal cart. The food is just okay. The eggs are not cooked very well. The hash brown is straight out of the microwave.

Not sure why this casual restaurant isn’t better rated either. Try the schwarma spiced chicken Schwafel wrap which includes falafel. I got the red roasted pepper hummus and tahini sauce. You get choices of toppings and mine included red cabbage, sautéed mushrooms, and avocado — - Delicious!

I’m glad I didn’t have to endure the purportedly garbage service other reviewers detailed in painful rhetoric. Now it makes sense why they offer 20% off upon check-in on ONLINE orders only upon– wait… But does it? I ordered off seamless but… I would’ve been pretty PO’ed if I had gone there to pick up the food, only to find out an offer I can only use online is offered. Makes zero sense. I thought, oh well, I’ll use it next time! That is… If there is a next time. So my rating is based solely on the food. I won’t say #zeroeffs, but only one or two effs are given in making this tasteless dish– I had the chicken shawarma with greens and jalapeño+scallion hummus. The platter comes with fresh warm pita which I threw out bc I have a gluten allergy. The chicken was fine but left much to be desired. The couscous bedding was meh as well. I was really disappointed… $ 10.45 before tax for this? Hundreds of calories for THIS? The three pieces of pickles were good– but so are pickles in Big Macs. It fell short of making my hungry soul weep, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again. There’s too many better lunch options around the area to settle for flavorless platters. Naya, I now worship you.

I hated this restaurant. The manager is rude and the food is terrible. I wash there was a minus star

Everything was still hot by the time it got to my office which is a plus for me. I hate eating cold food let alone cold and bad food. This was not the case from ChickPea.

I ate at chickpea back in May before traveling out of town for a music festival. This place gave me awful food poisoning, i had to go to the doctor, and arrived at the festival super late. However, I ended up camping next to the most amazing guy ever, who I am now dating. Camping location is pretty much set up by arrival time so I would not have met him if it weren’t for the food poisoning(bc I would’ve gotten there way earlier). So, if you want a good meal I would not go here… but if you want to end up meeting the man of your dreams I would.

I’ve gone to Chickpea the last 3 days straight for lunch. It’s literally a block from where I work yet I really haven’t gone at all in the past three years I have been here. Now I am obsessed. The food is incredibly fresh and the service is fast. Additionally they have he best pita(«pocket») I have ever had. I’ve gotten the following: — Pocket with chipotle hummus, chicken kebab, lettuce, cabbage, pickles and beets with yogurt sauce — Pocket with jalapeño hummus, lamb/turkey kebab, lettuce, cabbage, pickles and yogurt sauce — Pocket with babaganoush, chicken shawarma, lettuce, cabbage, pickles, beers and yogurt sauce They the pockets in little boxes. You can also get wraps, hummus plates or salads and they have three types of falafel, spicy chicken and grilled chicken as additional choices and more hummus and sauce and vegetable choices. It’s almost overwhelming but all good. The lines haven’t been bad so I think I will continue. Great stuff. There is also a yogurt place sharing the space but I haven’t tried that yet.

Food is decent. However, recently they decided to charge for every topping. My falafel pita somehow came Out to $ 9+. There are so many other falafel places in city. I will pass. The food here is not that great to be charging that amount.

The service is bad, Everytime i go there, because its close from my job, i regret it…6 $ for a plain omelette, no pita bead or potatoes like its said, smoothie = 2 strawberries and not even the half of a banana, they also say they have oatmeal but they dont serve it cause not enough customers order it, Cheap and everybody looks bored… and its not even good!

Good option if you are looking for a quick and a fulfilling bite without breaking your bank. Large pita falafel pockets and for few additional dollars you may customize with various additions /toppings. I ordered delivery around 2:15pm and it arrived within 15 minutes.

Heard a lot of good stuff about Chickpeas, so I got excited when I saw one nearby and decided to try for myself. I am huge on customer service whether it’s fine dining to easy take out. This place sadly is at its worse. The manager stood there and kept giving me eye contact and didn’t even budge to ask for my order. Sorry you’re so superior at your job to even provide service to a paying customer. The girl who finally helped me rolled her eyes multiple times taking my order, either she was bored or being casted in the next role for the Exorcist. Now for the food: Bland.Dry.Not Impressive. I’ve had more flavorful & delicious tasting meal offered to me by a poor family when I lived oversees than the falafel wrap I ordered. Which is sad! Listen, I understand business is business and people need to make money, but judging from some of the poor reviews on here, something’s going to have to budge in that corporate office to supply better trained employees in customer service and hand out a little bit more money in readjusting your flavors.

Avoid at all costs. Staff is somewhere between unfriendly and downright rude and facilities are dirty. Look for a Maoz or even Dishes.

I constantly stop in here for lunch whenever I can’t figure out what I want to eat. My go to meal is jalapeño and scallion hummus with Mediterranean chicken. Delicious!!! The service is average and they tend to try and refrain from small talk with you but I have never had any problems or employees being outright rude. i would say this is a great place to pick up something quick to eat.

Not sure why this place is not better rated :-/maybe because their assembly line non-strategy needs some work but the restaurant was very clean and neat. The veggies were super fresh and plenty drink options — including coffee. I saw 4 different kinds of hummus and fresh red cabbage! There are non-veg options so it can work for different groups… My vegan breakfast was less than $ 13!

I came here the other week with some work friends. Most of us were new to the place and wanted to try something new in the area for lunch. We got there around 12:30 pm and the line was almost out the door. Luckily, it didn’t take too long. Really easy to order. They have instructions on the back wall, but I wish it was more obvious what toppings are available. They don’t have signs for them, so we ended up having to ask what everything was. The guy was really nice about it though. The ladies at the cash register weren’t as nice. My friend told her what she ordered and the lady glared at her like it was the biggest insult she ever heard. Crazy. I ended up getting the Shwarma in a pocket pita with quinoa, tomatoes and cucumbers, lettuce and corn with tahini sauce. Overall, it tasted good, but some big misses. My food wasn’t warm, I at least expected the Shwarma to be warm, but it wasn’t. It was kind of cold. Plus, I wasn’t a fan of the pita. It was too thick and tasted like cardboard. I may come back, but I’m not exactly dying to go everyday.

Sort of heaven for health freak vegan, low-carbs fans, who strongly believe that there is life beyond«salads» ! –I tried Quinoa bowl, with hummus and spinach-kale baked falafel, with mint«chutney» and tahini on top. Yeah, it’s not the menu, but that’s what my friends complaint that I am notorious about — inventing my own healthier«looking» dish. – Why not, if you are spending 10 $, and if you are working hard to earn that money, and if you are having proper lunch/dinner just twice a day, then why not to eat something, which gives you inner peace and pleasure ! ;) – About others’ reviews, I didn’t have much opportunity to interact with staff. I still question those online ordering systems, such as seamless — since there is no human connection. You want to be able to say«Hello» and ask questions about healthy/non healthy food that you are about to eat ! – Falafel won’t taste so oily(good). For sure. However, come on Unilocalers, this is a healthy baked food place. If you are looking for oily & testier solutions, there is crisp or maoz, or soom soom or biryani carts all over ! – Food was costly. It was 10 $ for a bowl. Can everyone do this everyday? Anyways, had they not charged me extra for falafel(and hence, less quinoa and less olives, etc), then i might had tipped them — to respect my custom request

I know in the past I have had a bad expereince when ordering online from this place. However, I just recently started working in midtown and this location is a block away from my office. I have been literally coming here everyday for lunch. I am vegan and gluten free, so I really appreciate when I can have a falafel wrap. You just have to ask for a gluten free wrap. There was various options of hummus, types of falafels and toppings — you can mix and match and make all different combinations. And obviously more so if you eat meet because they have grilled chicken and kebabs et all. I personally like the chipotle hummus with quinoa and vegetable falafel topped with olives, beets, pickles and jalapeño — with the green mint dressing and tahini. Yummm! Speaking of food… its lunch time again!
