History

Established in 2010.

Andaz Wall Street set a new tone of optimism in Lower Manhattan when it opened on February 1, 2010. Located in the busiest financial district in the world, the hotel has Wall Street on the North Side, Pearl Street on the West, and an urban garden on the south. Built in 1982 as Barclays Bank, the building is one of the few freestanding buildings in the area. Till this day, you can still find the eagle statuette above the entrance of the 75 Wall Street building. While at the heart of the Financial District, with the New York Stock Exchange and various Fortune 500 companies steps away, guests are also within close reach of cultural sites such as the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Governors Island, the World Financial Center, South Street Sea Port, and Battery Park. The hotel was designed by the award-winning architectural firm, the Rockwell Group, displaying contemporary dcor focusing on natural simplicity and comfort, featuring some of the largest guestrooms in New York City.

Meet the Manager

Jeffrey M.

Manager

Hi there, I’m Jeffrey Miller, the General Manager at Andaz Wall Street. I’m looking forward to welcoming you personally to our downtown Manhattan hotel. Here’s a little bit about me: I’ve been working in the hotel industry for 22 years now. It’s given me the chance to work with and meet so many wonderful people. I’ve held positions with Hyatt in Los Angeles and Philadelphia, but I love being in New York City. The vibrancy of New York City is unrivaled. I love walking around the financial district of Manhattan where the history of the city began. It feels a little bit like being in Europe when you’re down here. Biking up the west side highway is one of my favorite things to do. And outside of our wonderful Wall & Water restaurant, I’m a big fan of Saxon + Parole and Café Gitane. Both great places to dine to feel like an honorary New Yorker. When you’re here at the hotel, ask one of our hosts if I’m around. I’d love to pop up and say hello.
