I stayed here for my birthday. It was so perfect! Front desk was very accommodating and they treated me and friends very well. The suite was nice and roomy — great space for a pre-​birthday toast with my girls.
It was nice to have such big beautiful Windows around the whole suite.

Über luxe. I prefer this location to the one in midtown. I love that the rooms have a lofty vibe to them. The bathroom is huge. It’s more like two rooms — there is the shower and bath on one side and the sink and water room (toilet) across the room’s hallway.
There is a wide full length mirror (it’s a surprising shame how many hotels lack this). There is a sleek desk and working area. Huge, comfortable bed as well.
The designs are very minimal. I hate hotels that will the room with tacky artwork and useless décor.
Andaz always delivers. I’ve stayed in many around the world, and they all are unique to the location. It’s always a flawless stay.

For New York prices, this is a pretty good value for your money. Located smack in the middle of Wall Street, this location is very good.
I like the friendly service you get the moment you walk in. Their front «desk» is a stand up counter that is supposed to give you a more personal encounter. I got a mini suite that included a mini bar that includes complimentary non-​alcoholic drinks and some complimentary snacks. If you want some wine, there is complimentary wine in the lobby area from 5pm — 7pm as well. The bathrooms were nice and modern (I look for this in particular when passing judgement on a hotel). And overall the room itself is very stylish and modern. I paid $ 179 per night here during the end of August.
I took a red-​eye from the West Coast and got to this hotel around 7am, but the hotel allowed me to check in early anyways since they had my room available. I really appreciated their willingness to accommodate me like this.

Horrible room service. They did not clean my room two days in a row. When I called down to complain, the operator hung up on me. When I went to see the manager, she only said that she would look into it. Very disappointing. There are many better choices in this city.

Dirty bathroom, dirty room. Found food beside the bed, and pubic hair on the toilet. Not pretty.

I’m in the middle of a very pleasant stay right now. It’s basically a very good hotel for a lot of money; big rooms (especially the suites), well located, good food, free minibar, free Wi-​Fi.
But, why is there a giant bubble on the floor at the entrance (the laminate has swollen) where I always trip? Why are there bizarre gouges in the tub (which I’m not using, but are unsightly). I realize things get old, but for $ 500+ a night, I really do expect the room to be completely spotless and perfect. In fact, how did the gouges get there? What were people doing?
Anyway, a great hotel, but definitely some issues still to iron out.

Simply WONDERFUL, Very modernize hotel at a walkable distance to the Financial district. The check in went smoothly and the staffs were all very friendly. How great is it have free snacks and beverages (excludes alcohol) in your room. The WIFI was kind of slow, couldn’t stream videos but surfed the web without a problem.
The room itself is very clean and neat. The wall control can access all lights in the room. Like most hotel they have mini size soup bar, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, Q Tips, cotton balls. There is no bathtub but instead a mini chair to sit on. They also provide bathrobes and slippers. Had no problem with any sound population from other rooms and if so they also had free ear plugs by the bed.
I like how considerate the hotel is; by the entrance of the hotel are umbrellas for their guests incase if rains and a computer (Mac) for printing out boarding pass. Great experience overall !

Omg this hotel is incredible. Let’s start with all the perks: free minibar, free wifi in your room, free water bottles in the shiny gym, free wine everyday from 5 to 7 pm (which happened to coincide with my check-​in after a long flight from LA, so A++++ for that), gorgeous modern minimalist décor in the rooms with all-​white bedding, super gorgeous fancy bathrooms like those you’d find in Vegas (with a window between the shower and the bedroom), great room service, and excellent service in general!!!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to the financial district/​Wall Street area (I picked this area because I was dating a guy around here). I could understand why you might want to stay closer to the action (i.e. soho or tribeca or west village), but this place is quiet and feels like a welcoming home away from home.
Absolutely stay here! Hope I have a reason to stay in the financial district again in the future, so I can stay here, too!

I went for a couples massage — and should have walked out immediately. The bathroom they lead us to shower in were filthy. The toiletries were used and scattered. Clearly we did not use that. The room for two of us was tiny — like smaller than LES spots. My masseuse argued with me when I asked for a blanket bc «people get hot in massages.» It then proceeded to the massage. It felt like my husband had somehow gotten a different package then me — bc his was an actual massage. Mine, she would find a knot and then move past it instead of massaging it. She used such little massage oil that my skin was actual getting contact burn — I had to repeatedly ask for massage oil bc it hurt. She refused to use pressure, even though I repeatedly asked. Then she finished up 10 mins early and to me I was done.
I’ve had better experiences at $ 40 spots across the city. This wasn’t worth $ 20 let alone the $ 150 per person I just shelled out.

World class hotel!

I really enjoyed Andaz on Wall Street. It’s not as exciting an area as other neighborhoods in New York, but Chinatown and the harbor are both a short walk away. Thus, lots of great food and sightseeing options as well as public transport nearby.
Friends staying at the Mariott in Midtown were impressed at our hotel mini bar — it came stocked with free (non-​alcoholic) beverages and food. Additionally, some nights of the week there is happy hour in the hotel lobby, where free wine is served! The lobby has a very chic, bar-​like ambience. It is also always fully stocked with jars of free cookies, granny smith apples, hot coffee and tea for guests.
The room itself was very modern — large fancy bathroom with a rain shower (no tub) and a sliding door. Big comfy bathrobes and slippers were provided. The lights in the room could be dimmed to varying degrees.
Now, a few girly concerns — as another user noted, the bathroom lights are extremely dim, so it’s hard to put on makeup. I don’t believe our room had a full length mirror either, and no mirrors in the bedroom, period.
What really impressed me the most about Andaz was that as we were checking out, the receptionist offered to check our bags «for a couple hours, or even a day or two» free of charge (!!!) so we could continue sightseeing, hassle-​free. Um, yes!!!
I loved this place, and I’ll likely be back.

Went for a birthday staycation down the street from my apt, made it known, and didn’t even receive a «happy birthday» let alone MAYBE a nice welcoming glass of champagne (I work in luxury sales and that’s how it’s done.)
Booked my suite through Jetsetter yet Andaz also charged me for the room twice and blamed it on Jetsetter, which I later found out was a lie. That also overdrew a bank account — niiice.
Loud garbage truck pick up outside my window for an hour at 8:30am on a Sunday, maid banging the walls with a vacuum and dragging chairs across the wood floor at 9:30. And not to mention, the cheap sheets feel like tissue paper. Breakfast was cold when it was delivered and the fruit plate was not ripe.
To say my experience was underwhelming would be a MAJOR understatement. I can hardly believe the other reviews… I love to leave good ones but Andaz sucked and I wish I didn’t waste my money.
Free wine from 6−7pm in lobby and free soda/​water/​juice in minibar, so I’ll give it two stars. Nice bathtub and spinning closet. Erin checked me out and was very dismissive about my comments, rude.

This is an ultra modern sleek place. Open concept front desk and bar.
Our room was pleasant but the lighting was difficult to figure out. No bathtub. Bath so sleek that there are insufficient towel hooks. Bath towels on bar inside very large shower got wet.
No coffee maker in room. Too modern

I bring you this review from inside the Hotel… at 3:30AM…now you may ask yourself… «why would this otherwise sane woman be on her phone, especially on Unilocal?» Allow me to explain…
My husband and I are parents of small but very effective professional torturer who specializes in snuggles and sleep deprivation as MOA. Now imagine how excited we were to have our very own parental units to coordinate their weekends just so that we can have a weekend of relaxation and sleeping past the ass crack of dawn! So excited that we’d happily she’ll out 350 $ a night to stay 10 minutes from our house… Yea… You’d be that excited too!
So now imagine walking into this beautiful hotel room with a spinning closet, rain shower and a huge soak tub, great lighting. Just wait it gets better, the lovely concierge even sent us a lovely bottle of champagne to make sure that we have a wonderful get away (see evidence attached) So far so good!
On the table there’s a courtesy note from the hotel letting us know that…” Oh btw… We doing brick pointing and it starts at 8am during the weekdays and 9am on Saturday. There goes sleep in… But no matter, it’s a great room.
The first night we were awakened by the unshakable sensation that we might actually be in a desert… A very dry, balmy 90+ degree weather. This cannot be… i thought, I set the thermostat to 70!
Remember in the beginning of this review I mentioned how much I was looking forward to getting some sleep? It’s hard to sleep in a sauna wouldn’t you say?
From the other reviews it seems that it’s a common theme, and I understand, I too live in an old NY building where our «chief engineer» decides what theme the night will be — sometimes it’s igloo night… others it’s Sahara. ****** Concierge Take note… And repeat after me************* (I’m a well seasoned host of random people staying over)
«thanks for staying with us, just to let you know… since we don’t give you any control over the heater/​AC in your room you may want to pop a window to prevent unwanted hallucinations and extreme lethargy followed by inability to return to any restful sleep pattern. And while you’re popping the window open in your sky rise room– be careful not to fall out, the window is large, and it opens both ways… You can actually push it through and wind up hanging out of your window (naked, because I’m a heat responsive exhibitionist)…Enjoy your stay. «Got all that???
So now to the original statement… Why am I writing this review at 3:30am??? Because it’s impossible to sleep in a sauna… That’s why.

Love that they do give you some free snacks and all non alcoholic drinks are free, but other than that, not sure how I feel really.
I got a double bed room and the size of the room was pretty decent but the lighting of the whole place was just too dark, the mirrors are located in the darkest of areas so it’s hard to really see when you’re trying to put on make up, even in the bathroom.
The walls are paper thin apparently, we woke up to loud bass music and woo girls next door at 5:30 in the morning!
That being said though the staff is really helpful and nice. The décor of the hotel itself is gorgeous. I might try out some of the other hotels first though before considering coming back to this location.

I stayed at the Andaz on business and what a great posh hip place for Wall Street. It’s not over done and the rooms are gorgeous with huge windows. The showers are also amazing. Well done.

My hubby and I stayed here for a work/​second honey moon trip. I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated. We enjoyed the see through window to the large bath. Also they serve free wine for happy hour at six and the snacks and non alcoholic beverages. are free. Best of all the staff. was very hospitable. This hotel is also min away from battery park and. The world trade center, excellent location.

It seems that the prevailing rule among popular NYC hotels is to negotiate with potential group guests until they accept the bare minimum. The Andaz Wall Street is no exception, subscribing wholeheartedly to this philosophy.
My wife and I booked our wedding suites here in addition to some rooms for our wedding VIPs. While we were ultimately able to secure a reasonable rate, everything from start to finish felt like a game of tug-​of-​war with the Sales department.
Also, when we checked in, the front desk failed to let us know that they were going to put several thousands of dollars in authorizations for our entire stay plus a thousand dollars in potential incidentals on our credit card, which came as an inconvenient surprise to say the least.
To rectify the situation, the Sales team insinuated that it was our fault for not knowing this ‘common sense’ practice, and that we should have prepared better. I called my bank and had the authorizations removed. This was all happening on our walk to the rehearsal dinner.
No upgraded room for the bride or groom, though they did give us a nice bottle of champagne. And to be quite honest, the rooms, while noisy from the street scene below, are like something out of a movie — absolutely stunning. An upgrade would’ve almost been unnecessary, though it certainly would have been appreciated.
All said and done, in terms of net guest experience, the Andaz Wall street is more disappointing than anything else. I could speculate or provide anecdotal evidence as to why the New York luxury hotel culture is what it is, but I would rather spend my time recommending to you another great hotel in the area: the Best Western Seaport Inn, which completely excelled for the vast balance of our wedding guests.

Can a hotel bathroom be sexy? The Andaz one bedroom suite with tub upgrade is just that.
Every hotel has a shower but does your hotel have a 2 foot deep soaking tub encased in glass with views in to the bedroom and the city? Not for the shy and modest, this bathtub became my own Narnia. I sat for hours watching TV from the tub, filling it up randomly with warm water and watching Sex and the City. After 4 days of exploring the city and racking up 14 miles of walking, this was heaven!
The tub in this marble bathroom also had an open shower along the wall. The black smoke marble, stainless steel waterfall shower head and additional wall nozzles were amazing. Add in the white marble bench with stainless steel feet and the bathroom was its own art gallery! The 6X6 open shower is called the «party» shower and I can see why! You could easily fit 8 people in there… not that I tried!
The oversized desk in the middle of the room had so many interesting functions. The back of the TV spun around and had a mirror on the back complete with bench and tons of outlets.
The other side was a desk with an overhead light that resembled a martini glass. The shelves had books about fashion and finance-​perfect for its Wall Street address. Sleek white leather office chair and modern circular chair.
Free snacks, free water and soda and a location that can’t be beat, The Andaz is definitely on my list for my next trip.

Situation idéale, accès au 9/​11memorial, à battery park, aux vols en hélicoptère à pieds. Métro à 2 min à pieds.
Chambres spacieuses pour New York, grande baie vitrée, bonne insonorisation intérieure (on entend quand même les bruits de la rue), mini bar entièrement gratuit (sauf alcools), vin et thé glacé gratuits dans le lobby tous les soirs de 18 à 20h.
Grande salle de gym
Très bon restaurant et excellents petits déjeuners (french toasts, gaufres, muffins, pancakes… et beaucoup d’autres choix!!!). Calme et cosy.
Personnel très serviable, et très aimable.
Nous y retournerons très certainement !!!
