As a custom clothier, it is important for us to have a reliable dry cleaner who can help us out in a jam. We highly recommend Aphrodite Cleaners to all of our clients. They do a good job with all cleaning and pressing, and I have never had them break a button like most cleaners. My only comment is that they should open on Sundays, and since their plant is off-​site, they can’t do same day cleaning/​pressing.

I totally disagree with the other review here. The woman who works the counter is nice, speaks English perfectly and even texts me to let me know if my washing is done early that I can come get it.
They are kind — will follow specific instructions (hang this separately, no softner, etc) and are reasonable with laundry prices (wash.fold)
Their dry cleaning is super expensive ($ 16.50 for a dress!) so avoid dry cleaning but wash/​fold — best on the block.

It is extremely generous to even give them one star, and I would give them zero if I could. After lying to us for two weeks that «delicate garments» require special care, they come up with the amazingly unbelievable story that they might have lost the bag’s tag and sent it to one of their other stores. Only after the practical impossibility of finding a bag in such circumstances was made clear to them did they circuitously admit that they lost the bag. Needless to say, we’re still dealing with the continued effects of their incompetence and lies.
