they had great options for lunch. I was just weirded out that I was having lunch in Times Square! I had the wood fired 8 oz steak which was actually quite tasty!

The food here is okay the service is on the other hand is very good the servers kept coming to our table and making sure everything was okay. We got the boneless wings but they were so hard, the meat was very dry and so were the celery and carrots that came with it. I have the blackened tilapia with potatoes and broccoli. Broccoli was really good buttery and fragrant. The blackened tilapia is not something I would order again. The edges are burnt and even though it was heavily seasoned with pepper it was very Bland in flavor.

Stay away from this Applebee’s

Would give 0 star but no option on Unilocal.My wife and I, we were really hungry and decided to eat here since we normally order the dinner combo from AppleBees.
That was my biggest mistake for not checking on Unilocal’s rating before even stepping into this place.
I was first taken to the lobby by a lady, then this 2^nd lady told us to go upstairs. After we are seated, this arrogant waiter came and introduce all the items on the menu as if he’s trying to sell life insurance. I told him we’ll just get two cups of water but it never came! We looked at the menu and he said no dinner combo. Why? We took a look at the menu and the salads costs $ 20! Appetizers are at least $ 5 more than avg. steaks are $ 10more. We decided to leave. It’s not worth eating $ 40 pre-​tax and tips just for 2 salads.
We decided to leave the table and that make waiter told me to bring the menu to the front. Two thumbs down. Whoever dines here either have too much money and don’t know how to spend or mainly tourists. FYI: we still didn’t get our water.

Our server never came to even greet us so we asked a random person to take our order. He eventually came after the other guy took our order. When our food came, we were very disappointed. Me and my cousin both got the 4 cheese Mac n cheese with the honey chicken tenders. We both got super tiny pieces of chicken and a spoonful of Mac n cheese… you guys rationing for the zombie apocalypse? And to think each of those entrees were $ 20, you’d think you would get more food. Overall, not an enjoyable experience. Tourists visiting the area, make sure to avoid. Not worth wasting your time and money.

Came in yesterday mid-​afternoon sat at the bar downstairs first floor. Was attended by I believe Chris the bartender, he was very attentive and polite and was efficient at his job. Had boneless wings, spinach dip, wonton tacos and quesadillas. Wonton tacos were good. Spinach dip was watery :(…perfect margarita was perfect :). …

My son and I stopped in for breakfast. The atmosphere was light, clean and happy. Our hostess was pleasant though when we were asked how many were in our group, she didn’t seem to get the humor when I said «seventy five hundred.» Our server was very nice and on top of things. Food was hot and served quickly. Coffee was fresh hot and the cups were kept full. Nice breakfast in Manhattan. Kudos!

Absolutely horrible. Service is horrendous. Told server I found a hair in my food and our server (Christina) told me «oh okay» and never offered anything to solve the problem. Worst dining experience of my life I would absolutely never go back.

Food great. We ordered hamburger and bourbon st chicken and shrimp washed down with blue moon beef and coors light. Food and service great but beers were flat and diluted.

We came here to order takeout. After a long wait, I was utterly disappointed when I opened my container when I got to my destination. I got the 4 cheese pasta w/​chicken strips. It looked like someone just took one scoop of noodles and threw it in the container. Poorly presently. Barely any sauce, barely any taste. BARELY any food. I’m used to a full container of noodles with my chicken. Had I known I was going to wait THAT long for some scraps of food for $ 16, I would’ve just went elsewhere. Unbelievable.

I had to call the receptionist on the phone to get a waiter to come to our table after waiting 20 minutes. If I didn’t have a gift card I would have gone somewhere else.

Service and food here was better than the Times Square location. And got seated quickly on a Saturday night. But my chicken fettuccine Alfredo was dry again, as it usually has been the past few times I’ve ordered-​they never made it like that. Can Applebee’s stop being stingy on the pasta sauce? The sampler appetizer was great and def filling for 2 if not 3 people. Bones less buffalo wings mild were the best and the raspberry lemonade will always be my fave!

Went to NYC for New Years Eve. My bucket list venture. We started out in the designated area in the street to wait for the ball drop, which wasn’t due for ten hours. After talking to a couple from Boston they told us about Applebees party $ 375 for all you can eat and drink. I figured once in a lifetime event… why not. It gave my son and I a few hours to see the sights then go inside to party. It was well worth it. The staff was great, food was good, drinks spectacular thanks to the righteous babe who was bar tending on the bottom floor! Highly recommend this place for New Years for sure!

Terrible experience. We ate here at about 10 on a Sunday evening. While it wasn’t crowded by any means, the service was slow, wait staff inattentive and the food sub par. The table next to us was waiting for nearly an hour for a burger that they kept forgetting about, and the table behind us reordered several times. The convenient location was not worth the experience we got while dining here.

Opciones de comida americana: pastas, pescados, ribs y hamburguesas a su manera.
Nosotras pedimos una tabla de picadas y unas ribs y comprar unos todo. Ambas cosas me encantaron. La tabla tenía de todo, todo frito, todo rico. Muzzarelitas, albondiguitas, camarones, nachos.
Las ribs sensacionales. Hay cuatro varieades para elegir más y menso ahumadas, más y menos picantes y dos formas distintas de corte.
Fueron amables aunque hacía el final medió desatentos.
El precio un poco por encima de los locales del estilo, pero bien. Aprox 25 dólares por persona.
Al postre no llegamos… Creo que nunca llegamos al postre en NY.
El salón súper grande. Dos plantas. En la planta baja dos sectores uno más para comer y otro más sports bar con bastante lugar en la barra y más televisores.
Me gusto, volvería y si, puede ser que mi bata en NY haya estado baja pues la atención es siempre mejor que en BA y en cuanto comida solo quería chatarra amaerican style.

Terrible food, outrageous prices, inattentive waitress.
A fountain pop was $ 3.50.
A chicken finger basket was $ 17, and it was very scarce and no good.
Chicken fettuccini was $ 20, and was disgusting.
I expect high prices in Times Square, but this was ridiculous, and the food was trash. Way below usual Applebees standards.
Will never return, and would strongly encourage every one to try somewhere else.

Overall, the place is good, but there is nothing unique to mention about it.
I ordered the new shrimp and broccoli cavatappi (I love broccoli). In my opinion, it is overpriced — 20 $ — for a small plate. I guess that if I was really hungry, it won’t satisfy me.
Nevertheless, it was fresh and tasty, a good mixture of tastes.

I did the biggest mistake of not checking this place on Unilocal before!

Ordered salmon and vegetable! Disgusting! I ordered bread just to calm my hunger!

Ok, average… so-​so.
Not many places fall into this ‘very average’ category. This place does.
Food was overpriced but not that bad. Service was ok, could have been better.
I ordered a Caesar salad, Applebee’s Club and a lemonade.
The salad was good, lettuce was crispy, dressing was yummy, croutons were crunchy.
The club was fresh, all of the flavors didn’t really mesh well though and the sandwich was dry… could have used more spread or something. Fries were just OK.
Lemonade was refreshing.
Good, bad? Nah, just indifferent. Ok.

Draußen haben wir 22’C und drinnen arbeitet die Klimaanlage auf Hochtouren, die Räume sind auf 15’C runtergekühlt. Einfach zu. kalt. Nun das Essen: Das erste Essen haben wir zurück gehen lassen weil die Kartoffeln nicht gar waren der zweit Versuch hat geklappt jedoch ist es sehr geschmacklos. Nicht empfehlenswert und zu teuer. Nicht weiterzuempfehlen. Leider habe ich dieses App von Unilocal zu spät gesehen, damit fällt es einem auf jeden Fall einfacher in gutes Restaurant zu finden.

So I went to NYC all the way from my hometown in Massapequa to see the Rockettes Christmas show. So after I was done with shopping, it was about time for some grub.
I was planning to go to Ellen’s Stardust Diner, but I was disgusted by the fact that there was such a long line, plus a 45 Minute wait. ALL FOR A DINER? Ditch the Diner, I figured Applebee’s would be less crowded. So there you go, unexpected change of plans at the last minute.
So I went to the third floor (there are four floors in this Applebee’s, Wow…) and the staff was very friendly (Always have to appreciate that.) So I ordered an American Burger, and that was a better call than ordering a Triple Bacon Burger (American Burger is slightly lower in calories than the Bacon Burger).
Normally, I go to Bellmore to get Applebee’s but I happened to get lucky while in the city and went to «The World’s Largest Applebee’s» (Who knew it was specifically in the heart of Manhattan!)

17% recommended tip. Worth it? Well, from my experiences here– no. The waitstaff on my first visit did a particularly poor job, and on the second time, it was fortunately a bit better but still lacked charisma. An example of some of the service includes, waiting 30 mins to served, having a waiter forget an order, having the waiter bring out a wrong order which was funnily enough the one they forgot and had to ask for.
The atmosphere is nice and the décor is pretty spectacular. No complaints in that department.
In terms of price and quality, you are in Times Square so the two do not equate. With this in mind, the food was not bad. I had a chicken sandwich on cibata bread with chips. The meal was nice and had some good spicy mayo to complement the tomato and lettuce. Chips were tasty but a tad too salty for my liking.
Drinks were good, well except for those on my table who ordered fruity lemonades which were very sugary and $ 6.00 too!
Over three levels, the restaurant caters for a large crowd and overlooks the beautiful time square. But size isn’t what counts, it’s the organisation that is lacking in an otherwise potentially great chain.
If waitstaff were perhaps more strategically placed, the whole experience would probably work better but also their attention is important. I had to ask for cutlery after our food was delivered, this was on the second visit (not the same one as the order fiasco outlined above). The cutlery took 10 minutes to arrive too. Not too happy about that. I can understand incompetence once but not twice. Maybe they are seriously understaffed.

Geschmack eher mittelmäßig, deshalb nur 3 Sterne. Wir hatten Burger und Pommes und haben woanders schon viel viel besser gegessen. Ich war enttäuscht, meine Begleitung war aber ganz zufrieden. Die Location ist wahrscheinlich das, was die Preise auch etwas in die Höhe steigen lässt ich möchte hier nicht noch mal essen gehen.

Its Appelbees! The Service is fine. The food is good. To Lunch Time they quit busy and you have to bear with the waiters.

Das Applebees ist für mich eine Art Einstein Restaurant nur auf Amerikanisch und viel Besser. Ich bin mit dem Service bei denen immer zufrieden und das Essen ist auch immer sehr lecker. Leider bin ich etwas enttäuscht das es im Applebees in New York die Preise um einiges höher und übertriebener sind als in New Jersey.

Für eine Restaurant-​Kette gutes Essen, große Auswahl. Der Service ist i.O.. allerdings hat es etwas von Fließbandarbeit, wenn hier zu Stoßzeiten viel los ist.

ich kann dem vorherigen beitrag voll zustimmen.
wir waren auch bereits mehrmals bei applebees am/​nahe times square 50^th St und waren jedesmal rundum zufrieden mit service und den speisen.
wer schnell was essen und trinken will ist hier absolut richtig. auf dem 3^rd floor, gibts an der bar auch mehrere tvs, wo abends div sportsendungen laufen.
(vergleichbar ist applebees wohl mit einem alex aus deutschland.)

Das Appelbees ist eine von vielen typisch amerikanischen Ketten.
Der Service ist nett, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit.
Das Essen ist gut, ausreichend und es gibt eine große Auwahl an Salaten, Burgern, Steaks etc.
Hier gibt es alles, was das Herz begehrt, egal ob man sich gesund ernähren möchte oder sich lieber die Kalorien auf die Hüften futtert für die nächsten Stadterkundungen.
Egal wo man ist, überall werden die Kalorien der Speisen und Getänke aufgeführt. Hier werden sogar teilweise Weightwatcher Gerichte aufgeführt. Das hatten wir so noch nicht gesehen.
Da Burger und Steaks sehr lecker waren, besuchten wir dieses Restaurant gleich 2mal.
