Atelier Esthetique

I recently graduated from full time day program at Atelier Esthetique Institute and I am very happy with my choice to attend this school. The teachers are very patient and supportive and went above and beyond to provide us with the best education going way more than the required curriculum for state board. Ms. Hanson insists on high standards when it comes to behavior, punctuality and appearance from students to prepare them for the workplace. During these 4 months I have always felt supported from everyone on the staff and I feel fully prepared to work.

I have just graduated Atelier Esthetique! I relocated from Florida just to attend AE. I wanted the best and I truly feel that I have received it. I paid for my schooling with my own funds and felt confident doing so because I knew I was attending a first rate esthetics program. I also would like to add that the machines used here are top of the line, please research Equipro and Silhouettone facial machines. The staff is top notch with more wisdom that I could have ever imagined receiving. I not only had wonderful instructors, I had mentors. Ms. Hansen is kind and approachable, and a perfect example of what an empowered, strong business woman should be. The only thing these instructors have ever asked for is to please follow directions and show respect for yourself and the others trying to learn around you. Education is a journey and you get out what you put in. I could not recommend any other school other than AE. I have even considered having my 17 year old daughter attend next summer before college.

I attended the Part time evening program back in 2012. After years working in the Spa/​Salon industry as a Spa coordinator, I became inspired and wanted to take my career to the next level, and pursue Spa Management and services. All the Estheticians that I worked with recommended Atelier. I did my shopping, and called up a couple of schools in the city (Lia Schorr, Christine Valmy, etc.) Atelier seemed the most responsive to my inquiries, especially since I was also planning on using a Military Spouse financial aid program (MYCAA). Atelier was very accommodating in my registration process. Moving on to classes, the teachers are amazing. I had Ms. B as a primary theory and practical teacher, and Rosalie for a practical teacher. Ms. B is extremely qualified and will not only give you all the tools necessary to pass the board with flying colors, but also teach you some ins and outs of the industry. As a post partum severe acne sufferer, Ms. B also gave me some valuable and effective skincare and wellness tips that totally blew me away. I can now say that I am all clear and acne free thanks to Ms. B. These valuable lessons learned I have passed over to my own acne clients and have been able to change their lives as well. The quality of instructors at Atelier is exceptional, and I realized this when I took the board tests and felt confident that I did well. The owner, Ms. Hansen is very involved in operations, and she makes sure everything is on point. They also teach with quality skincare products and treatments as well, with active training sessions from the company, on the products and technologies etc., which is extremely beneficial because you can easier understand ingredients and the science of other products you encounter throughout your career. After graduating Atelier I went on to work in a Medical Spa in Guilford, CT, and this is where I saw how my quality of education stood out among the rest. I quickly moved up to Lead Esthetician and Makeup Inventory manager. I relocated to the other side of the world to Guam, where I am currently working as a Spa Manager at a Resort Spa, andI am in charge of Spa Operations, services, products, as well as recruited to write quarterly Esthetic advice columns for a local News Paper. I truly believe my career in Esthetics would not have progressed this fast if it wasn’t for Atelier. So if you are thinking about Atelier, don’t hesitate.
