pretty good stuff. first time ordering from them, because they were open and delivering. They didn’t stiff me on chopsticks like some of the others do, and those 5 star dumplings were great. Tom Yon Gun soup was weak on the shrimp

Although a bit on the expensive end the food here is definitely worth the price. Very high quality.

Thai food is always the food choice when your party group is indecisive. After an exquisite MET art touring, Bangkok Cuisine was the savior. Interior design is really eye-pleasing, I love how they try to integrate a calm peaceful environment while enjoying their meals. I ordered the Drunken noodle, definitely needed some spice to keep me warm from the cold winter night. Apparently it was really delicious since everyone couldnt stop grabbing bites! Also ordered a thai ice tea, delicious as always. But i dont like the super tall glasses given. Great service! We stayed almost till closing and they didnt rush us at all to leave

Great spot for Thai food in Yorkville. This has been a nice addition to the row of bars and restaurants on 2nd Avenue in the 80’s. I noticed it for the first time on my walk home from the barbershop not too long ago. It peaked my interest so I decided to check it out with some friends, and we have been pleased with our experiences to date. The restaurant features a small bar and lounge area in the front with seating primarily towards the back. It is very clean and the décor is aesthetically pleasing. There is a casual atmosphere and the service is friendly, which is quite welcoming. They have a good drink menu, which includes specialty cocktails, wine(red, white, plum, and sake), champagne, draught beers(mostly American), bottled beers(mostly Asian), and an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. The cocktails are largely vodka, rum, or tequila concoctions. Although I prefer a whiskey or scotch, the ginger mojito is pretty refreshing. The food is excellent. I have only eaten from the dinner menu, which is expansive. There is a large variety of appetizers, soups, salads, chef specialties, entrées, curries, noodles, and fried rice. Some of my favorites include the Thai dumplings, king crab Rangoon, mango avocado salad, volcano duck, BBQ chicken, and old fashion pad Thai. Looking forward to my next visit!

The food was delicious and service was great! I ordered the Asian broad noodles with chicken and a Thai iced tea, while my boyfriend had the fried rice with duck and Thai iced tea. We shared the Maryland crab cake for the appetizer. Everything was cooked perfectly. The place feels really majestic, it has a Buddha statue in the middle of the restaurant, and chandeliers dangle from the ceiling. Overall, 5⁄5 stars!

The food here is tasty and filling. I ordered the sautéed cashew mixed veggies and white rice. This order came with vegetables dumplings and a salad. Everything that I tasted was delicious. Keep in mind, everything here is fish sauce based. Also, their tips are automatically calculated into your bill. My friends enjoyed their food as well. The interior was beautifully elegant and I felt almost underdressed! I like the traditional thai pants that our waiter was wearing was beautiful and seemed like the perfect touch to the thai culture! The bathroom is downstairs and super cute and small, so be careful, if you’re tall!

Delicious! I went with my first choice, the Drunken Noodles, after reading many of the rave reviews here. My friend’s Massaman curry was perfectly spiced as well. The servers kept our water glasses filled, and the décor was amazing. Loved seeing the wall waterfall, what a nice touch!

My boyfriend, who really has no opinion on food, insisted on giving this place 5 stars – and I agree! We walked in after a long bus ride back from Boston around 11 pm, and was fascinated by the opulent atmosphere and decorations(I loved the fountain and the crystal-looking water goblets). Our service was prompt, filled up my glass very quickly(although perhaps came over too many times… better attentive than not though, I suppose). For the location and atmosphere, the prices are pretty good, with hefty portion sizes. My boyfriend loved his chicken pad thai, and mentioned that the chicken was cooked to perfection and the dish was flavorful without being greasy. I loved my green curry, and ate every spoonful of the perfectly spicy dish. Will be returning again and again, since it’s right around our apartment!

The Saturday lunch special is a great value at $ 9 for veggies entrees and $ 10 for entrees with meat. Each entrée comes with a small appetizer and either soup or salad. I ordered the Red Curry with Chicken, spring rolls, and a salad – all for $ 10. The salad was a few satisfying bites. The dressing was sweeter than at many thai restaurants. The spring rolls were fresh and crispy but not amazing in any way. The Red Curry had a poor consistency in the broth and looked and felt a little… lumpy? Gritty? Not sure what happened there. The broth had less sugar and seasoning(lemongrass, fish sauce, etc) than I usually expect. The vegetables were an excellent tenderness, neither mushy nor crunchy. Overall, nothing was bad and nothing put this place on the map – except the price.

Lunch special is a good deal. You get a salad, an appetizer, and a main dish in good portion. Salad is really good and you do get full, which is a good thing. DUCK — their duck dish is only 19 buck and the portion is very generous. This is quite rare in this neighborhood because duck dishes are usually 25+. volcano duck is really yummy. interior is small and intimate. it can be a very cute place for a date night(after you’ve been on a few dates, or on the casual mood). My friend got noodle dish, is really yummy too. We like this place!

This was our third visit, and each time it gets worse. Our server spoke no English and seemingly refused to even humor us by facilitating any requests. My wife wanted a club soda with an orange slice, but he communicated that the orange slice is only for alcohol drinks. We ordered our entrees and received something else. My wife asked for garlic sauce on the side, but got no sauce at all. It was actually quite the process, with pointing and several head nods that we wanted the garlic sauce. We asked another server who gladly helped, but was immediately stopped by our server and interrogated as to why he is helping us. He then tried to tell us that we didn’t ask for the garlic sauce, which is why it wasn’t on the table. We felt like we were walking on egg shells to even ask for the check, and because of our server and our mediocre food, will never be back.

Pretty good Thai on the upper east side. Nice décor and very friendly and attentive staff. The lunch special was a great deal. We had a fried dumpling/wonton and soup for appetizers and pad kee mao and pork skewers for the entrée(the skewers were great). And for less than $ 10 each. A real steal.

I ordered the shrimp and crabmeat rolls — they look good but are bit too oily for me. It’s stuff with shreds of veggies and I tasted more crab than shrimp. There’s four 3.5″ rolls served with plum(sweet) sauce. I would recommend sharing this appetizer! The drunken man noodles are also up to par, they include large pieces of sautéed onions as a heads up in case you don’t like. Staff has always been a delight to interact with. Décor is pretty. Cleanliness is top quality. Enjoy! They are my new go-to in town :)

Food is very average so really not sure why the 4.5 stars? Perhaps its the chic and frou frou ambiance or perhaps it’s the lack of decent food on the UES… Good service. Good cocktails. Overall everything was good but not great… Certainly not 4.5 stars…

My go-to neighborhood thai spot! Amazing food(pad thai and curry puffs are current faves), opulent fun décor, and awesome staff(so friendly!) If you’re looking for great suggestions, say hi to Tess(she’s the smartly dressed elder with great eyewear), a neighborhood regular who eats here maybe 4 nights a week and will echo this review 10-fold.

A great new thai spot! Came here last week for dinner, food is pretty standard, had the larb salad, delicious. The thai BBQ ribs were good, but the star of the night was the snapper. A whole snapper fried and then drenched in a delicious sweet spicy sauce. Very good. The drinks here are amazing very original… had fried ice cream for dessert pretty basic. Overall loved this place the staff is friendly and the décor is very nice perfect date spot.

My husband & I ordered food to go. The service was excellent but the food was rather disappointing. Thai restaurants in the area seem to be sub par. I don’t usually order pad Thai, but I decided to try it. It didn’t come with a lime or chopsticks. The beef pad Thai is $ 1 extra & it came with just a few small scraps of beef. It’s disrespectful to customers to send out food like that. I don’t think we will be back. My Thai iced tea was watery.
