Stopped in for breakfast today and had the Grilled English Muffin(avocado, tomato, frittata & cheddar) and a latte. Ordering was quick and easy and staff was very attentive and polite. The latte was good, and the to go cup lid had a retractable opening, which I love for coffee on the go. Egg sandwich was also good. There was not a lot of cheese on it, but the other flavors were good, and it came with a little side salad. I will definitely be back. My breakfast was $ 9.30 which is pricey, but only a dollar more than dunkin donuts, so in comparison, not so pricey. Things that could be improved upon were: — The salad was bone dry, not even lightly dressed. — The sandwich was packaged in a small cardboard box, which because the sandwich was hot it accumulated a lot of condensation and made the muffin a little soggy. Better if they just wrap it in paper or foil.

Finally a BREAD close to home! Bread To Go is the most recent opening in the West Village and I can’t be any happier. It has a very similar menu to the much beloved original Bread(Nolita): fresh, modern, Italian and yummy! It is a small space, but it is meant to be mostly a delivery station. Since it’s opened the lines have been a little naughty, but the delivery saves me a lot of time. I live for their fresh linguine with pesto, their quinoa salad and their aged salame with taleggio panini(under the breads section). In the afternoon, things calm down and I like to get a table in the back(the décor is stark meets vintage chic) and sip a well done cappuccino(finally!) with Nutella tartines(no need for the banana on top in my case! I am a purist. ;)
