On an otherwise super drab stretch of 8th Ave., sans anything to write home about, is this little gem. Fresh buckwheat crepes with a host of filings; sweet or savory as should be. The establishment is spotless and the ingredients are fresh. The owners are actually French. Et voila!

You know the sub par quality of this place when they serve you fermented tomatoes. A greasy rotten mess of a meal. Never ordering again

Bannana and Nutella crêpe was delicious. Highly recommend this place. Right by Penn Station. All Dessert crepes were great. Lots of seating upstairs. Yummy!

I had a savory and a sweet crêpe delivered to my job. They were fast the food was hot and reasonable price. The sweet crêpe was good, I had a butter and sugar crêpe and a ham and Swiss with mushrooms. I’m not sure if it was the mushrooms or the cheese or the bread but something did not taste right with the savory crêpe. I would not like to have that experience in my mouth again. I would however give the sweet crepes another chance. I don’t know about you hit they delivered the crepes in these cute little carbonated boxes which shows effort on their part! The only thing I would suggest is to get in touch with someone to order your boxes from who use recycled materials! :)

Thanks for their crepes, I don’t have to cook my own lunch. I had savory crêpe for the first time and it was interesting Location: this place is on the 8th Ave close to 35th street. I used to see this crêpe chain line at multiple urban marketing places like in Columbus circle and union square. I got surprised that they opened up their own stores so soon. Places has two floors and some seating for a short time of stay. The whole process of crêpe involves with some smoking and some noise. I can smell the smoke while I was waiting. I guess they need to work on building something to get rid of indoor air pollutant which should be a concern for all customers I had savory crêpe. It was okay. The cheese is too salty(I dislike cheese). Otherwise, it was a good and cheap one. Service is nice. Nice and new. Staff are inexperienced but friendly. Overall: a 3.5 stars maybe worth trying

My son and I were taking a stroll through the city and decided to go to Buddy’s bakery. On our way, we found this hipster crepier(sp?) and decided to go there instead of the tourist trap. Cute interior… reasonable prices… quick service and palatable crepes. We ordered the sugar and butter with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon. Very tasty, but the crêpe was heavy not light. It wasn’t quite a pancake, but almost lol. My son had the Nutella crêpe. He said it was good. My fave from the trip was the box the crêpe came in… totes adorbs! I will be back to try some of their less sweet options and because I joined the rewards program, Belly.

Every time my friend and I travel together, we try to find a great crêpe place for breakfast. We were staying at the New Yorker and By Suzette was just across the street. The café is in a small two story building. There is very limited seating downstairs and a few tables upstairs. We ordered our crepes and found a table upstairs and waited. We waited way too long for our crepes, probably close to 20 minutes which is entirely way too long for a crêpe that cooks maybe 1 minute on each side. My friends order was wrong and had to be sent back. Once we did receive our food, however, it was good. I don’t know if I’d be back just because I know there are many other options in the city but if you’re close by, give it a shot.

Came to redeem a free savory crêpe via the Belly app. Otherwise, I would in no world spend $ 8 on a crêpe unless it was imported from France. The friendly cashier quickly recognized the app and I was able to get the smoked salmon with mozzarella cheese(which they were very generous with), caramelized onions, roasted peppers, and baby spinach. A bit salty, but flavor was pretty good. It comes in this pretty innovative and green(I think. since it’s cardboard) container, but these crepes are oily, so eat it quickly if you want to avoid a lot of mush. I don’t really mind mush, so I happily enjoyed mine the next day after microwaving it :) This location has more seating upstairs and it’s pretty cute. But overall, wouldn’t return since it’s just not really my cup of tea. I see why some people dig it though.

I work around the corner from here. I don’t want a crêpe but my co worker raved about how good her bacon egg and cheddar crêpe with onions was soooo good. So I caved in and got a butter sugar with strawberries crêpe. Not much to say the picture says everything. But then the taste of my crêpe went from seeing the worst thing ever made but now to tasting the worst thing ever. My crêpe taste like caramelized onions. Sorry Suzette I would try again but not for a while.

I redeemed a Belly Bite here 1 – 2 months ago and ordered the savory crêpe La Paysanne, based off of all its glowing reviews at their TriBeCa’s Unilocal listing. It’s no longer an official menu item, but it’s basically cheese, bacon, potatoes(and maybe onions?), which = deliciousness. The staff is super friendly. I prefer this location to their TriBeCa one because it’s bigger and has more seating available.

Ordered a crêpe from here. Loved the packaging and the taste of my crêpe. Fast service too! Only discrepancy is the delivery guy who asked for a tip even though I tipped on card.

SO disappointed on delivery! A group of us ordered food from Seamless, and they forgot a few items. We called them but the food did not arrive for an hour!(not to mention they are located half block from us.) Then they forgot to put another item. Never ordering from this place again.

Came here twice for my lunch. Both times I’ve used a free belly meal so I can’t tell you if the bang was worth the buck but I can tell you it was definitely worth my 10 min walk from work. Orders were quickly taken. For the savory crêpe you get 1 meat(first time I had ham second time smoked salmon), a cheese, and 3 toppings. Not sure if I’m limited to 3 toppings because it’s free but I pushed for a 4th one the 2nd time around. Both times my service was good so no complaints on that. Both times my crêpe was filling that I had to save for the next day so no complaints on that. Definitely would want to go back and try their sweet crepes. I know they’re still kinda new but only thing I would say is more options for cheese/fillings.

I was incredibly disappointed tonight when I tried this place out. I was excited about a new crêpe place but this is NOT worth returning to. The person making the crêpe dolloped a big ladle of batter and didn’t spread it evenly at all. The crêpe turned out soggy and broken with lukewarm toppings(strawberries and Nutella) The store itself has terrible ventilation so smoke filled both floors. It was harder to breathe and incredibly warm inside. All in all, I want my $ 7 back.

Came back here to try my first savory crêpe with my friend. I got a chicken crêpe with Swiss cheese, diced tomatoes and spinach. My friend got the same except with beef and cheddar cheese. I was actually surprised at how the savory crêpe tasted because it was amazing and fulfilling. However, there weren’t much selections to choose from. They had mushroom and other toppings, but they ran out when we got there. The seatings are quite unique, they have a room upstairs where you’re able to sit and eat, but there were limited outlets. My friend’s phone was down to 19 and the two outlets they had were already taken. What I didn’t like about the place was that there were constantly flies flying around in a group and that wasn’t pleasant at all. I will definitely come back next time and hopefully they have more selections !

Came here to redeem my belly bite of a savory crêpe. I asked the worker who was making the crêpe and he told me to ask this lady,(who I assumed was the manager/owner(?)) if I could redeem my belly bite. She was nice and told me I could. She tried turning on the iPad, but it didn’t really work so she charged it. Ordering the crêpe was pretty confusing. I had to follow the worker and tell him what I wanted to add. I got the smoked salmon savory crêpe and added mozzarella. I wanted to add more, but I guess he couldn’t hear me(I even repeated myself 3x) and started folding my crêpe. Although their iPad didn’t work for belly, the owner/manager told me it was alright and that I can just eat it. I ate in the dining area upstairs. When I proceeded to throw out my garbage, I saw a fly flying around me. The garbage can was also filled. I would come here again to try their other crepes(the sweet crepes look really nice) if I’m in the area.

This is hands down the best crêperie in NYC. The savory crepes are handmade in front of you with fresh ingredients, unlike many places where you can tell the food has been sitting there for a while. The employees are friendly and generous. Each and every time I come in I’m greeted with a genuine smile. Not to mention they wear the cutest french uniforms! The sweet crepes are delicious and my absolute favorite! I usually get a Nutella crêpe with raspberries, bananas, and strawberries, and the quality is consistent every time. Crepes are served in no-mess to-go boxes that you can eat right out of, which is great because I’m always on the go. Happy to be a Suzetter.

Redeemed a Belly Bite at the still-pretty-new Midtown outpost of By Suzette(not to be confused with the also-expanding, similar-concept Bar Suzette) and the place was dead, yet way overstaffed. Everyone was friendly, but the 3 folks by the register(who weren’t able to get the tablet on to actually redeem said Belly bite) just told me to order up 1 of each portion of the menu when I walked over to the guy preparing it. I did, and he kept insisting I get 3 of certain portions of the menu(which was odd because he burned and threw out his first 2 crêpe attempts), which was fine, I guess, until the whole thing exploded(their takeout vessels may be branded well and did save my clothes from the disaster, but they’re a pain to open). A generous 3.

This location just had a grand opening today, and was giving out free crepes of any choice as a promo which was great! Not all the ingredients listed on the menu were available on this day, which is understandable. The ingredients for the crêpe themselves is all fresh and pretty tasty. I wish they had some sauce options for the savory crepes that could be used to jazz it up if wanted. But otherwise the crepes are pretty good. The staff at this branch still seem to be learning how to put the crepes together(because they struggled with the wrap breaking a lot and such, and having to remake it) but I’m sure they will get it down soon. The price of the savory crepes can be quite expensive as the more ingredients you add, the more quickly the price can rack up. so be careful how much stuff you put in there normally!
