We serve updated, yet soulful cuisine, incorporating lighter cooking techniques to the classic dishes of Cuba. At cafecito you will feel the vibe that it is never your first visit and no one here is a stranger. All of our items are cooked to order. We use only the highest quality ingredients, fresh fruits and vegetables in our preparation.

History

Established in 2003.

Lived in Miami came back to NY with a hankering for Cuban food. Could find nothing worth eating and certainly nothing that compared to The food and look of Miami. That’s when we decided to open Cafecito. We feel that we serve that purpose. Food of Cuba, look and feel of Miami, at a price that is beyond reasonable.

I am American Cuban and have been in this business both in Miami and NY for many years. We serve only the types of food that you would expect your grandmother or mother to serve you at the dinner table. Our food and drinks are authentic. Our vibe represents the food of Havana with Miami attitude.
