Came here randomly after my partial crown decided to fall out in the middle of chinatown late on Friday afternoon. Dr. Zhu was super calming and fixed it, his office got my insurance to take care of the costs and the whole experience was as pleasant as unexpected dental work can be.
I’ll also mention that it was a clean, professional office and everyone there was very nice –none of that scammy dentist crap. He put the partial crown back on after thoroughly cleaning the tooth and told me to keep an eye on it/​go to my regular dentist if I had any pain or sensitivity. No weird up-​sell or fear-​mongering behavior.

We’ve been a regular patient of Dr. Zhu for routine check-​up & cleaning for years. He loves to engage in conversation and applies a hands on approach when it comes to his patients. So, no worries if you’re the quiet type! He informs me every step of the way so that I’m aware of what is happening when it comes to my dental health. And, if you have questions, he will go through and cover anything with you. He is very knowledgeable and extensive in terms of maintenance of personal oral health and hygiene. I definitively trust him to keep my teeth and gums clean and healthy. The dental fees are very reasonable and affordable. And, they accept most medical insurance. Another bonus is convenience– they now accept major credit cards and even personal checks! Definitely ask upfront and bring all medical forms with you particularly for reimbursements. In the busy streets of downtown lower Manhattan, Dr. Zhu is your best bet compared to other dentists.
