Danny Fong, MD

I had broken my nose my sophomore year of college.
I am not from New York, so getting a procedure seemed worrisome and uncomfortable.
Danny has a great personality and seemed like the right way to go seeing that I had a deviated septum.
He placed it back and never requested any follow ups.
3 years later (2 weeks ago — it took me THIS long to have this fixed again), I go to my hometown as my nose is still crooked and trouble breathing. If you looked up my nose, could definitely tell my septum was blocking my left breathing passage.
I went to my father’s doctor, his practice very well known in the greater Atlanta area. After my procedure, talked to me and my father about how the prior job was so poorly done, he had to break my nose in FOUR places to fix it.
My current doctor has already requested to see me each week for the next 6 weeks to view my healing.

Dr F was fantastic — I was on TV 8 days after a minor surgery to my face to remove a growth below the skin. I would give him 6 stars if there were that many.

Dr. Fong is amazing, and I would happily recommend him to anyone in need of a great plastic surgeon. His office staff is also great. These days, our interactions with doctors can be so rushed and impersonal, but it was the exact opposite with Dr. Fong’s office.

Both my elderly Grandmother and I have been patients of Dr. Danny Fong. Dr. Fong is a highly skilled surgeon who does wonderful work. He is an attentive, compassionate, and caring doctor. I had a bad accident which caused 2 unsightly scars on my face. He performed reconstructive surgical procedures on the skin. There were no post-​surgery complications and the results were amazing. His surgical assistant and office staff are very pleasant, professional, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend Dr. Fong if you need reconstructive surgery for your hand or other parts of your body.

don’t ever come to see danny fong for mole removal! he is the worst surgeon ever! i went in to get my mole remove back in january of 2011 because i heard great reviews from him. i had a mole on my leg that wasnt that big but wanted to remove it because i didnt like how noticeable it was. he told me it will heal fine and my scars wont be noticeable. wtf liar it got infected to the point where its so itchy. i coulnt take it anymore so i went back a year later to tell him hoping it would healed by then but found out they didnt take my insurance anymore. so when i heard they take my insurance now i went back to tell him and showed him what he had done to my leg. he was embarrassed of his work and instead of saying sorry he blamed my skin for not healing well. and that maybe i didnt wear sunscreen that is why the scar is dark. are you kidding me?!? i always wear sunscreen to protect it from it getting darker. how the hell are you going to blame the patient for your mistake! i went there for nothing and on top of that they charged me double my copay. i was suppose to pay $ 20 and they charged me $ 40. i didnt realize until i got my medical statements. so i went back there to tell them and they said sorry and will pay back the money. it has been two months since and i heard nothing from them. im extremely piss right now. i cant believe anyone would give him a license to become a surgeon. worst experience ever! and the receptionist are ruse and dont know what they are doing what so ever.

I was referred to Dr. Fong by NYU’s medical center after I nearly chopped off my finger with a chef’s knife in culinary class! He had to reattach my nailbed so that my fingernail would grow back properly. He did it right in the office in about 20 minutes and the nail on that finger is now the strongest one I have. Wonderful work!

I don’t need a great bedside manner to find my doctor adequate. In fact, if you want to be a huge asshole but save my life, please, PLEASE be my guest.
Not that Dr. Fong saved my life, but he did do a good job removing a tricky basil cancer from the side of my nose.
The surgery was really quick and Dr. Fong told me exactly what to expect pain/​experience wise. In fact, I think that when doctors sugar coat the pain level, you end up thinking it was really painful. When they tell you exactly what you’ll feel, even if it is painful, it ends up not being as bad as you think it will be.
I had a few post-​surgery complications. Mainly, the NewGel scar treatment cream that they gave me didn’t work and made me break out with a small rash + get my scar slightly infected (kind of like a zit but in the scar tissue).
I had to go back to Dr. Fong twice, but I don’t think it had anything to do with his performance. After the second time I had to go back I was a bit peeved, I admit (hence minus one star) but I went to my Dermatologist for a second opinion and she said that the scar looked REALLY good, but I had a bump. She gave me a shot of Cortizone to reduce the swelling and now the scar looks great.
When I went back to Dr. Fong the second time I told him I went to my dermatologist and about the Corizone. He said that he would have also recommended the Cortizone and perhaps even cosmetic lasers to help with the redness.
Bedside manner, not so important. Keeping my face beautiful, mucho important.

Danny is awesome. He’s probably treated every kid at our school (not to mention half the parents). Always cheerful, incredibly helpful, and great with the kiddies! Thanks Danny!

My finger loast a brawl with a stick blender, and had been stitched up at an emergency room. Dr Fong and team did the post accident check ups and stitch removal etc. They were quick, and the finger is doing incredibly well.

Dr. Fong and his assistant, Jenny, are miracle workers! I went to Dr. Fong for an excision of a pre-​cancerous mole b/​c my dermatologist doesn’t do a good job on those types of procedures (the final product looks like a gun-​shot wound). It’s been 3 weeks since my surgery and you can hardly see where the scar is! It’s already flesh colored! It’s a clean line, no scabbing or scarring. Wow. You should definitely go here for similar procedures.

The review from Russ influenced my decision to go to Dr. Fong after I was refferred by a dermo. He did an amazing job… Thats all I can say.
