Excellent customer service. My boyfriend is very picky when it comes to food lol. Today, even he agreed that the food was delicious. Loved it! will definitely be back here :)

THISPLACEISFRIKKINEFFINAMAZING!!! I’m still sitting here at the table. I’ve never eaten here before tonight, but the food here is astonishing. All I can vouch for is the Kachoori, which was very good, the Chicken Tikka, which was phenomenal and the Lamb Korma Curry — which verged on the sublime. The Naan was the best, and the Aloo Paratha drenched in the sweetest ghee. The quality of the food here is simply remarkable. Don’t expect to rush in and rush out. if that’s what you want, eat elsewhere. Everything is fresh, and made to order, with great care, delicacy and attention. And the service could not be more personable, attentive or gracious! My only complaint — The portions are too large… HAHAHHAHAHHAHA This place is ExEpTiOnAL, genuinely exceptional.

We ordered food and it never got delivered. On calling and asking, when will the food be delivered, they say we don’t know. Worst service ever.

The special lady friend and I had the hankering for some good biryani. This restaurant is located conveniently off Delancey Street with a noticeable sign for easy identification. We had the lamb biryani, with chili chicken and garlic naan, with salted lassi. The meal was very good, spice level appropriate, noise level quiet, and the food was warm and came in a timely manner. Throughout the meal our server, Haque, had seeked our input on how we found the food, and even gave complimentary gulab jamun for dessert. The Biryani Uncle gets excited for gulab jamun! The Biryani uncle likes Haque! The Biryani Uncle is satisfied overall with this new BYOB spot in the LES, and a great jump off to the start of a fun night! Definitely a great South Asian restaurant worth checking out while in the LES.

Excellent Indian food. All dishes are authentic and very tasty. I used to live in the Caribbean near a Punjabi family. I would give them money every Sunday and hey would give me whatever they were cooking to take home. The moment I had the chicken tikka masala, which is what I first try as a baseline when I try a new Indian spot and judge them off that, the memories of living in the Caribbean automatically rushed from my tongue to my mind. Came back many times since.

I came in to fulfill a craving for Indian food after work. I was greeted by a friendly server who helped me figure out what to order since I wanted to change up what I usually order samosas. I ended up ordering the Chicken Tikki Masala. It had a smooth and sweet texture that mixed well with the rice. I had almost forgotten that curry could be sweet and savory after a terrible experience with ultra-hot curry a year ago. I’m definitely going to be coming back to experiment with different choices here. It reminded me of middle school afternoons where a friend’s parents would cook for us.

Unsure why the high Unilocal reviews. ** This is for delivery ** To start there are no napkins or utensils. They forgot the raita and most of my order which came cold. Lamb tikka masala —(1⁄5) this is mostly onions with three cubes of lamb. I ordered this medium spicy and basically got a version of mild butter chicken. No spice and watered down sauce. The lamb was three cubes in a large bin of sauce and onions. Gobi Manchurian —(3⁄5) meh, very very bland. This dish ordered at other Indian restaurants usually has a kick. Here just plain bland. I am very wary of the high rating. I love Indian food and this will not be a repeat order.

The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered delivery from here. I got the chicken tiki masala, naan, and mango lasi. It is very reasonably priced, I payed about $ 23 after tax and tip which for Indian food is incredible value especially considering its quality. Too often in curries the chicken gets over cooked and dried out. But the chicken was perfectly done, very moist and well seasoned. The sauce is perfectly creamy with just a hint a spiciness that really brings out the full flavor. The naan is very soft and fluffy and excellent for mopping up the sauce. My one complaint is that they don’t give you utensils with the delivery.

Foods great. But everytime I order delivery they neevvvvvveeerrrr give me utensils!!! I called in once before asked why they told me because some customer complain because their utensils are plastic and cheap, the customer rather use their own nice utensils at home. He told me if I need forks etc… please let them know ahead of time. I’m very upset because I never have to tell the restaurant to please give me utensils when I order delivery. When I ordered over the phone they never save my address with my phone number always have to repeat my address and being that his English isn’t the great I always have to take my time spelling my address slowly. And when he caculates the total price it takes him like an hour!!! Please just use the calculator!!! The guy that takes my order over the phone don’t get me wrong he’s nice but bro!!! Just got home from work and I feel like I’m working again when I order delivery with them, I just want to relax and not have to worry about utensils and repeating my address over and over again. Please fix this!!!

The foods pretty great, but I’d only suggest coming in as a group of at least 3 and sharing food. The combinations of food will make your dining experience amazing. We had the 2 kashmiri pulao with the Matar paneer, lamb biryani and goat biryani to share with 3 people. I decided to try out the rack of lamb as a bonus and it taste great, unfortunately when I decided to order it we had finish the matar paneer and kashmir pulao.

I had dinner with a couple friends here. We ordered like twelve dishes and shared them family style, so I don’t really remember all the names. What stood out for me was the mattar paneer, a curry so creamy and slightly spicy with cubes of cheese that paired amazingly with rice, and the bhel poori, couscous with chopped onions and herbs that were tangy, crispy, soft, crunchy, spicy, and sweet in all the right ways. Service was also great, it felt like the waiter was part of the group. I would definitely come back. Also, their white sauce is to die for.

Ordered from here last night and was very pleased with the quality of the food. Happy to have a great Indian outpost below Houston. The malai kofta and chef’s special korma curry were stand outs.

First time here– very, very impressed! This is gourmet cooking on all dishes, breads and rice(lemon rice, for example). The variety is surprising given the small size of the interior, but it turns out they do a constant delivery business into the early morning hours. I’ll be back for breakfast!

Came in to order takeout, and the waiters were all extremely friendly. I was really impressed with my food(chicken tikka masala). The portion was large, and very affordable. Will definitely be coming back.

Ate here with two of my buddies, we live around the corner on Delancey. Our server was incredibly friendly. It’s BYOB so grab a six pack or some wine before you head over. The food itself was phenomenal. I had the chicken tikka and ate every last bite — and then scooped up all the sauce with my bread. Best Indian food I’ve had in NYC.

Cute hidden gem in LES with the best Indian food ever! My bf and I tried the chicken tikka masala and the chicken saagwala, both were amazing! We could not stop moaning during each bite :) the sauces were so rich in flavor, authentic to the core. the chicken in both dishes were nice tender and juicy. I can really taste that everything is fresh and made to order. Usually I feel like chicken in most tikka masala in other places are dry from being on the stove too long, this is not the case here! The naan was also the best I’ve had, crispy yet fluffy!!! Eat it before it loses its crispiness! Perfect complement to the dishes. My bf and I finished the whole pot of rice and had to get another one. We could not get enough of the yumminess. Will definitely come back and will order delivery! They have a $ 16 combo delivery special. I apologize that I forgot to take pics, the food was too appetizing: P Edit: Went back to take pics. They don’t do them justice. Most of the time I can’t finish all the food since with one entre, they will keep offering you more rice and I can’t refuse. When I take it to go, they give me fresh rice in the doggy bag without me asking. I appreciate it a lot, It’s the little things that count. I’ve ordered take out a few times too and the chicken tikka masala tastes just as good. The naan, however, I would say tastes best in the restaurant. It retains its crispiness better :). My bf also tried the crab curry chilli deal and loved it. The chilli deal for delivery is so worth it! I just tried the chicken tikka appetizer and it was delicious! The sauce, the onions, and the juicy tender chicken… Like omg! It’s party in my mouth: D The chicken tikka roll appetizer is also good if you want the chicken tikka with vegetables in a roll. I think of as a healthy Indian burrito. The chicken tikka roll appetizer is big enough for me as a meal itself. Very satisfying. Btw we got utensils for our delivery on 1÷14÷16!
