The servers seem to skimp on the portions which makes it harder and harder to justify paying $ 9 – 10 for a burrito or a bowl. Oh well, there are other Chipotles in NYC… and other Mexican food options.

I came here a few times and I usually really like this place however it only takes one time to experience a bad experience. I mean, if you see the peppers burnt, maybe it’s pretty obvious to throw away that batch and make a new one. Looking at the pictures here, this wasn’t the first time this specific location serve burnt peppers. Literally my whole bowl was filled with burnt pepper even if I pick the peppers away, it blended in with the sauce and rice and everything just taste burnt and bad. I actually didn’t even know it was burnt until I ate like half of it because the sauce first covered all of it. So I probably ate most of it since my bowl was drenched with sauce. This is literally my worse experience with chipotle and I love chipotle but now I guess I’ll have to find another place.

Meh. Lost its appeal. Lots of salty food. I feel like all you get any more lukewarm bottom of the barrel food. You’re in New York. You can do better.

I used to go here all the time, lately they have been slacking. Every time I go in there they have run out of something! Today it was white rice, twice recently they ran it of lettuce, staff are loud and there doesn’t appear to be a manager. Over it, won’t be going back.

OMGCHIPTOLE, what happened to you guys?! I ate Chipotle religiously before the E. Coli scare and decided to take a break temporarily so I could try all the other delicacies in the world but going back today was such a disappointment! I don’t think that I will ever have Chipotle again at this location, especially with so many other options nearby. I walked in around 1:00pm which is right in time for the lunch rush, surprisingly the store was pretty empty. No line, and even seats available(rare). The guy before me ordered for white rice but the lady behind the counter said they didn’t have anymore, usually they will be like«oh. we’re out but if you wait a few moments it’ll be ready soon!» but she didn’t offer and there was an awkward silence before he was like«i guess brown rice is fine» moving onto my bowl, she had to scrape the remains for the little amount of rice that she could offer me(brown of course) and it was not even sufficient to say it was a full serving of rice! I expected her to say«oh, we don’t have enough. can you wait a little?» BUTNOPE! with mt sad bowl of brown rice she kept me moving along the line where i also found out they were OUTOFSOURCREAMANDLETTUCE. apparently they were out of lettuce FORTHEDAY! WTF? I use to love this location so much but service and quality has downgraded SOMUCH, that it amazes me and has officially scared me away. For loyal Chipotle patrons, this place charged me $ 9 for a sofrita bowl which is weird because in Midtown where I work, they charge me $ 10. I guess that’s enough to earn them 1 star because if not, I would truly give them 0 if I could.( Unilocal, please make this option avail)

I’m currently at this chipotle at 8:30 and one of the staff behind the counter tried to pass off half a spoonful of rice and steak as an acceptable steak bowl. It was pitiful. Staff are definitely lacking as well.

This location sucks. It’s like they are giving you from they’re pun portion of food. While most locations are pretty generous with they’re toppings, this place barely fills up a spoon of rice or beans. It’s ridiculous !

The staff is slightly slacking. There will be 3 – 4 people behind the counter but only 2 people actually working. They also throw around their responsibility. Someone would be making my rice bowl but give it to someone else to finish halfway through because… why? This was my first experience at Chipotle so I watched my friend order first. She recommended getting a bowl since they give the biggest portion through it. I ended up ordering a bowl with white rice, steak, mild salsa, corns, and lettuce. The corns was the best part. I know you can ask them to add more corns but it just does not seem enough. The mild salsa was quite hot. My throat started burning halfway through the bowl(I don’t handle spice well). Overall a pretty good meal that made me full for $ 10.

It’s Chipotle. Everyone knows about Chipotle. So is this place good or bad? I would say it’s average. If you work nearby, or wanted some quick food in the area, stop by. The seating area is satisfactory and service is very speedy and clear. Workers are friendly as well. I took off two stars because the taste was very average, and the portions were significantly slacking.

I find the staff rude and ridiculous. This location also frequently opens late which is annoying because sometimes I take an early lunch and they are supposed to open at 11am they frequently open 30 min late this place is close so I keep going but fed expect to be disappointed and they never disappoint

This is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. The staff is never paying attention — I go after work for dinner. I have to wait for them to stop laughing in the back to get helped. The serving size is also always SUPER small. I love Chipotle, but I will walk another few blocks out of the way to not go to this location.

I was here when they had the $ 5 Burrito deals. Because this location is near a few colleges, expect many students. I don’t particularly like the high stool chairs because I feel like I’m constantly sliding off of them. My suggestion is to get a table with 4 chairs — they fit more people in the same space.

Lucked out and got a server who was generous with the scoop. Probably not good for my diet but who doesn’t like one who isn’t shy with the toppings. Too bad this is really a mini chipotle of sorts, narrow and cramped with little seating other than stools at the front. Otherwise I’d give it 4 stars

They definitely serve people who are taller/bigger more food. Which doesn’t seem fair to me, so I stand next to my friend who is pretty muscular and just say, «I’ll have what he’s having». It works! I even asked for a little more chicken because I’m competitive like that. By the end, one of the workers looked at my burrito bowl and said«wow»… whatever miss judgy. I just worked out and don’t need your commentary. Anyways, chipotle tastes the same everywhere. When it comes to chain restaurants it’s the customer service that counts. It’s alright(at best) here. I mainly go here out of convenience

This chipotle allocates its portions by judging your size and assuming how much you could eat. The 6 feet tall dude behind me received a normal portion steak bowl while I received half of his. I had to point it out to them for them to give me additional amount. I don’t pay $ 9+ for this bs. That’s messed up, get it together guys. I suggest you all go to another Chipotle nearby.

Manhattan really can’t do Chipotle. The most expensive and the most skimpy. not only was it $ 23 to get two chicken bowls with guac to go(in New Jersey it’s $ 18!!!) but the rude girl bagging it at the register didn’t close it properly and as I was walking to the train I had salsa all over my hands. Get your chipotle game up manhattan.

I must admit I am not a regular in chipotle but I do enjoy it from time to time. My go to item is steak tacos with brown rice, black beans, peppers, sour cream and cheese. Absolutely delicious!!! I also do the burrito but it can be a bit much for me so I try to stay with tacos. Definitely alot of food which is good since you can pay up to 9 bucks. This location always has lines but I must admit they are very quick. The staff is always nice and attentive.

I just don’t understand how they function… I almost never come to this Chipotle because they always have a long line and they’re slower than average. Last night I was literally number one on line and it still took me ten minutes to get my burrito bowl. I asked for a bowl with taco shells on the side. The women puts taco shells into a bowl and asks me what I want. I kept repeating myself, and quipped back, «Your shells are in a bowl already, what do you want?» She finally understood and tried convincing me I should buy chips instead(but then it wouldn’t be free…). If only she hadn’t been chatting with her coworker, she would’ve heard me the first time. I stood there as I watched her level off the serving spoon of rice and beans. I have never had to do this, but I actually asked for more rice. Even when I got back and ate my bowl, there was still less food than I’m used to. She also nitpicked with the fajita veggies and put peppers and onions into my bowl slice by slice. Salsas went a little quicker when I think who was the manager swooped in and quickly filled the rest of my order. At the cashier, the guy took his time ringing me up, even stepping out from behind the counter to make conversation before bagging my food. Luckily I just finished my workout and was feeling extra patient. Otherwise I might’ve walked out with no bowl. I don’t want their incompetence to be confused with them being negative, as they were pretty friendly. Unfortunately, friendliness leads to inefficiency, it’s bad news in the food service industry. Chipotle, we need another store in the Flatiron area please!

Very tiny store(limited seating inside), and lines can go out the door at lunchtime. So your best bet is to place an online order for pickup.

Chipotle tips to get the best bang for you buck: 1. Order a bowl with the tortilla on the side. 2. Get double rice for no extra charge 3. Get both types of beans for no extra charge. 4. Ask for peppers and onions. 5. Get half of two types of meat. You actually get more toward ¾ of a scoop of each, which is 1.5 times the meat. 6. Get everything else. 7. If you want guac, get it on the side because you get more. 8. Ask for a cup of water, dont buy a bottle, it is free. Hope this helped.
