Not the greatest visit. Very small portions. Got a skimpy veggie burrito and got side eyed when I asked for more cheese and lettuce. Had to wait for salsas(how can you not have stocked stations at supper time?). Inexcusable since it wasn’t busy. Not a thank you for your patience or your welcome after I said thank you. Stank staff, and the dirty pail of water by the register was the kicker. We’re done 7th/38th street Chipotle. Girl, bye

Filthy and disgusting. An open kitchen-chopped meat all over counters, random mixed ingredients(cheese in the guac, assorted brown pieces in the pico-all of which are very disturbing to a vegetarian-I bet this location sells less sofritas than others as one visit is all it takes to turn away a veg) the ladies order ahead of mine wasn’t complete so I had to stand aside and wait while my bowl was already done and nobody would take my money or take my bowl off the line. Zero sense of urgency, it seemed like four people at one point were all talking to the same customer and nobody knew how to be efficient. My tray had food smeared all over the bottom of it, dried food. Can’t believe I walked five blocks out of my way hoping for a good dinner. It’s going to be a long time before I risk going to a chipotle again.

I have been coming to this chipotle for the past year and it is a gem in an area without quality, reliable food. Today was a true testament to the quality of this chipotle. Their afternoon rush is insane with a line wrapping around the store. It moved quickly and I found myself in a position I never wanted to be in, I was the guy ordering a ton of food during the rush hour. 5 burritos, 3 tacos and 3 salads. I felt terrible but also had no choice. Kevin, AJ and the rest of the line whipped this out in no more than 2 minutes flat, and I must add were extremely courteous about it. The quality of service matches the deliciousness of the food. I thank you chipotle on 38th street and 7th ave, see you soon.

I will never visit this location again. Wasn’t impressed with the sanitary conditions.

Please note that I am only commenting with respect to the horrific customer service at this location. Accordingly, this review will not address the cuisine. I eat Chipotle several times a week and am(or perhaps the better word is was) a loyal customer. I had never had an issue with customer service until Tuesday July 2, 2013, at approximately 11:00 am when I entered the 26th street and 7th avenue location. I nicely asked the cashier what the code was for the restroom. He told to «look at my receipt.» I showed him my receipt from last night from the 56th street location and explained that I wasn’t ordering lunch here but I would appreciate it if he would extend the courtesy to a loyal customer. At this point, he chose to ignore me and refused to respond, make eye contact, or acknowledge my presence. If there is a strict corporate policy with respect to the restroom code, which is perfectly reasonable, he could have explained that to me. Rather, he chose to be highly unprofessional and extremely rude. Instead of recognizing me as a patron, I was patronized. Other diners noticed; I was humiliated. Advice to management: This individual is NOT a proper representative of your brand. I am happy to provide more information so that this can be addressed and your reputation won’t be tarnished.
