Beautiful place to have lunch if you enjoy financial district architecture. I love the Cipriani brand, they know how to run restaurants. Delicious dishes with lots of class.

I DJ’d an awesome White Party last weekend at Cipriani Wall Street for Vanity4Humanity, and I have to say that not only was the food and the space/balcony just wonderful, more importantly the STAFF and MANAGERS are really just great to work with. Professional, thoughtful, helpful… Thank you to Kenneth Meza and the entire team, and I sincerely hope I get to DJ and work with you guys again because it was truly a pleasure. Sincerely, DJ CherishTheLuv Cynthia Malaran

Excellent experience for a business lunch today at this Wall St location. What a wonderful NY experience on this iconic, world renowned street. In the interest of full disclosure, this was a business lunch, so everything tastes better when it’s free. But I’m still reviewing this objectively. We arrived for our noon reservation, a little early but it’s all we could get. We had to wait at the bar for 15 minutes. I ordered a Johnnie Walker Black on the rocks to which the bartender replied, «I like your style.» We started with the fresh pasta which was divided by the waiter between the three of us, to avoid the awkwardness of family style. The bolognese was DELICIOUS! It was sooooo goooood — maybe the superlative best I’ve ever had in my life. Everything else was down hill but only as it compared to that delicious fresh pasta I’m dreaming about. The steak tartar looked like a raw hamburger, but not in a fly way. No egg, no mix-ins. My entrée, the Dover sole was a large portion and cooked well but the potatoes were basic. It was $ 55 which is kind of a lot for lunch. We were seated an oddly placed table, where other patrons kept bumping into my chair and my colleague asked for a new table. I didn’t want to go through the embarrassment of moving and I insisted we stay. The crowd died down and eventually the bumping stopped. The staff was attentive and willing to move us. The waiters were very professional and friendly. Service was excellent. Even though it was totally not the restaurant’s fault, the gave us an amazinggggg free dessert to apologize for the«inconvenience» of our table. It was a giant bowl of the house made ice cream.- more than enough for the three of us. It was extremely creamy and sweet. It was a classy gesture. I really love the Cipriani brand and I very much enjoyed my experience here today.

First time eating here for restaurant week. It was directly across the street from the office so I went with a group of colleagues. The service is friendly and polite however they did forget to come and refill our water but did manage to refill our ice tea since they charge by the glass. I had the tagilioni with mashed potatoes and it was amazing. The spinach salad was refreshing but nothing extraordinary. The cheesecake fell flat. It was more cake than anything and a tad dry. I’d add they need better directional signage as we had to navigate past a ballroom and display shop to an elevator to find the dining room. But upon arrival it was well lit and nicely decorated. Very business environment for lunches, not loud.

A co-worker and I ate there this week for Restaurant Week. Needless to say, if that is your way of giving samples of your food for which you want people to come back, try harder. Do NOT waste your time going there for any RW menu items. She had the seabass, I had pasta with clams. Her fish while tasty was about the size of two thumbs put together. My pasta was Sal-TY I had the no flavor soup and we both had lemon tarts that had we closed our eyes we could have sworn was simply a bowl of sugar. Service was fine, no complaints there. But Step up the RW menu and you won’t get bad reviews. If you’re a 4 star and above restaurant then it should not matter if it’s a special menu or not ALL Meals should display excellence and never disappoint.

Fantastic. This place is top notch — we had a party here with a band and it was pretty amazing. The food was spectacular, the service was fantastic — overall a great experience. Hard to say what % was from the venue vs all the other vendors, but great time!

I had a great experience at Cipriani’s! Came here for a holiday lunch with two other coworkers around 1 on a Friday afternoon with no reservation. We were told the wait would be around 40 minutes but that was no problem because the bar was empty and I was able to enjoy a «Mr. C», as well as talk to the bar tender about the restaurant. After our 40 minute wait we were actually given the option to pick between two tables, and were seated immediately. I ordered from the«chefs recommendations» menu, and selected the zucchini soup(amazing) and the ravioli. Unfortunately, they came back and told me they were out of the ravioli, but they could replace it with a bacon and ham stuffed tortellini in a cream sauce(OMG). The servings are small, as many others have mentioned, but after a drink, a bread basket, and a soup appetizer, I really did not need a huge serving of pasta. Plus, it left extra room for the three of us to try THREE different desserts– a vanilla cake, a chocolate cake, and a lemon tart(my favorite of the 3). The bar tender that we had been previously speaking with also came over and gave us complimentary glasses of bellinis(I’ve heard this happens often for the ladies– so make sure to chat it up!) The service was top notch and I felt like I was in an episode of Mad Men dining here– it is very pricey but worth the splurge every once in a while. I can’t wait to go back in the summer, I’d love to eat outside on the terrace.

I have always been intrigued and anxious to eat at Cipriani and I was not disappointed. The meal was eveything I expected and better. I work around the corner from the Wall Street location, and usually past it on my way home or on lunch. I had the spinach Ricotta Ravioli which was heavenly. Surprisingly enough, I was able to eat a three course meal without feeling overstuffed after you leave. I cannot wait to experience the terrace in the summer with co-workers. What was surprising, was that the dinning area on the 2nd level was not big at all, but everyone was accommodating and always made sure that our glasses were full. I would definitely recommend dinning there for lunch/dinner.

I came here for a Economics lunch. I was quite impressed with space, it really is quite beautiful. I would imagine it would be cool to have a gala or wedding here. The food was also very good, which was somewhat surprising as I usually don’t expect food at places like these to blow me away. The staff were on point and I’m just simply amazed by how fast they’re able to go between courses. I look forward to going to another event here.

The Quick: For a gala or wedding, this spot is perfect. It’s over-the-top glamorous, historic, and big enough to fit huge groups of beautiful people. Note this review might be biased as I attended two black-tie events here. The Details: For any type of classy affair, Cipriani is perfect. The waitstaff was amazing, the venue was gorgeous, the dance floor inviting, and the food(burrata) was actually great(even for a few hundred people). In terms of elegance, I found this place to be second only to the Plaza. The Damage: $$$$ just hope to marry rich.(Here’s hoping!)

We have been to Cipriani Wall Street twice for our graduate school fall formal, and it is an incredible venue. The facilities are gorgeous with a ceiling that won’t quit. Even the bathrooms are more nicely furnished than my apartment, with chaises and such. From the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive and took our coats and handed us drinks. The appetizers were delicious, with a variety of fish and meats. I enjoyed those and the pastas more than the steak they served. The steak was very tender, but had little flavor. One of the bartenders made me two terrible drinks but it was okay because there are 9 – 10 other bartenders that I could go to after that to get a better one. I was very disappointed that they ran out of all the good desserts very quickly. For an event this extravagant(and where people have paid a lot of money), you would expect for them to have enough chocolate covered strawberries to serve. They also did not have enough seating for everyone to eat, hence why it took longer for some of us to finish dinner before dessert. We played musical chairs and had to keep switching off as people got up to grab food. Other than that, we had a lovely time at the party.

Tried out the RW Lunch, August 2015 — had the cauliflower soup(bland), wagyu beef(with a sad side of under-seasoned, overcooked veggies and potatoes), and tiramisu(the dessert was not bad! Lots of creammm). Food was mostly ok and plain, and presentation felt lackluster. The restaurant itself was a small, stuffy room, and my group of 5 was squished into a small round table in the middle of it. It’s close to our office, which is why we chose it for a workday lunch and to try out the RW menu. Was overall an underwhelming experience.

Was excited to try Cipriani out, since people in my party were really hyping it up. Reasons to check it out: Location: its right on Wall Street which is something to see. Do it if you haven’t. Terrace: they have an awesome terrace with tons of tables. Its very nice and allows for great views of Wall Street while you dine. Service: solid service, they let my party sit around and BS and did not make us feel rushed. This is appreciated because most places want you the hell out if you’re done and not dropping anymore $$$. Fresh mozzarella: this was yummy and the best part of my meal(we got it as an appetizer). Dessert on the house: need I say more? They knew it was my friends birthday so gave us the sweet treats for free. Pretty nice of them. Reasons why one time is enough for me: Small ass portions: This isn’t totally surprising but damn almost 25 bucks for fried calamari and it was a realllllllll skimpy portion. Also, the main dishes were miniscule as well. Don’t come here starving, you’ll leave hungry(as I did). Prices: this spot has a hefty price tag on all their items. However, you’re on Wall Street in Manhattan so you expect this. Quality of food: mehhhh, wasn’t really impressed. My rigatoni was undercooked and the Bolognese sauce was dry and lacking. The portion was so small the least they could have done was gave a decent amount of hearty Bolognese sauce but nope. Also, I’ve had better fried calamari from pizza joints. Definitely nothing special.

I went to Cipriani Wall St last night with my boyfriend to try out their restaurant week menu. I’ve always been a fan of Restaurant week because many restaurants highlight some of their favorites to a crowd that normally may not be able to afford their meals. For me this was not necessarily the case but I don’t live downtown and usually wouldn’t venture there for Cipriani. With that said, this has always been a classic New York staple that I wanted to try. I was sadly so disappointed. This was the WORST experience I have ever had and I want everyone to know to not go to Cipriani for restaurant week or any meal for that matter. IT is so stuff any overrated I can’t even begin to express myself. I’m a huge foodie and I usually always give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I enjoyed the ambiance in the room though it was definitely small and bit stuff. It still had an old New York feel so I’ll give you that. We were not given a wine menu off the bat which always bothers me. My boyfriend ordered a Manhattan and I had a glass of Montelpuciano. His Manhattan came with way too much sweet vermouth and ice, leaving a very bland watered down flavor. My montelpuciano came in the smallest glass ever and tasted like a $ 5 glass of house wine instead of the $ 14 I was being charged for. For our bread option, we were served bread sticks and small stale Italian bread with frozen butter(I felt like i was in a catering hall). The restaurante week menu options were as follows: Appetizers — Tomato Soup, Beet Root Salad, Boccino with Tomato(caprese salad). The Entrée options were Tagliarre(basically linguine) with what we were told was a veal ragu, Chicken with Natural Juices and Miso Glazed Chilean Seabass. My boyfriend ordered the beet root and the pasta. I ordered the caprese and the Seabass. I don’t have much to say about the appetizers beyond the fact that the portion was small and boring. The caprese was nothing to right home about and the beet root salad was just beets, green beans and slice of goat cheese. My biggest problem was my entrée, the dreaded seabass. First and biggest problem with the entire dish, was that it was a piece of fish and rice. There was no sauce, no flavor, no acoutrements no nothing. It was the most boring, pathetic looking dish I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The worst part of all of this is this is CIPRIANI! Like come on ! Fish and Rice??? That’s it!!! Step up your game! For those that are pasta lovers, it was ok — creamy tomato sauce with veal and eggplant. Nothing amazing but not bad. Last was desert which was panacotta. It came out right as our entrees were leaving, giving me the impression it wasn’t made fresh. It was white gelatin cream with 3 berries in it. BORING. So basically all i have to say is that I was severely underwhelmed and extremely disappointed with Cipriani. This was your time to shine and you failed. You just lost a customer and many many more to come.

This was my first time here and it was AMAZING! My church and pastor celebrated 20 years of ministry here. From the time that you walked through the door, such exceptional service. The décor was wonderful. Cipriani’s servers filled every need or want before you even asked. The food was nothing less than amazing. It was great, well seasoned and I enjoyed everything. I’m so glad that I was able to experience top notch dining at Cipriani’s.

I’ve been here twice for company Christmas parties, once in 2008 and again in 2014 and the place has not changed a bit! It’s as elegant and classy as ever before and the hall is huge with its very high ceilings. I’ve never been here for any other type of occasion, but Cipriani is great for large events. The service has always been excellent and very professional and my company Christmas party this year solidified that belief. I recall food being dropped a few times or misplaced on tables and the staff was immediate with their reactions to clean them up. As for the food itself, unfortunately it was a bit underwhelming at my company party this year. For the main buffet courses, there was the following proteins/carbs served with broccoli, carrots and cauliflowers: Beef Salmon Pasta For the cocktail hour/horderves it was much more satisfying as they served foods such as fresh tuna, mozzarella cheese with tomatoes and miscellaneous other goodies. However, there were no seafood bars or other main courses(i.e. steak, lamb) other than the 3 mentioned above. Overall, the hall is still beautiful and spacious and the staff is extremely professional.
