Crystal Apple Window Cleaning

Paul V is the best window and mirror cleaner I have ever hired. I found him on Unilocal,and talked with him on the phone yesterday. Today he arrived and spent 4−½ hours cleaning/​restoring the 48 windows and 24 floor to ceiling mirrors in this new (to me) apartment that have suffered from severe neglect over the years. He is an INCREDIBLY hard worker, who charges a very fair price, and is honest about what can be done and what can’t. I immediately got on his calendar to come back every 60 days, and will be telling everyone I know about his company. This man is an expert.

Paul did an excellent job on my 3 filthy windows today, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. His price was reasonable, he showed up ahead of time and worked over an hour on these three windows. He also washed my screens and installed another – semi-​broken – screen that I had in my closet. I found him polite and extremely business-​like. I think perhaps he read the reviews here and is fighting against a natural taciturnity, but I liked his attitude. I don’t need to be chatted up, I just want to deal with a Pro. And Paul is that. I say go for it. My windows look AMAZING. Pity about the view, but nothin’ except a lottery win can change that.

I am sitting here looking out of my newly cleaned windows and could not be happier!
Paul did a fantastic job! He was punctual, brought all his equipment and was very thorough. The windows are spotless. He didn’t make a mess at all. And his pricing was very fair.
The only area of improvement I could highlight would be communication. It was hard to get a hold of him, and schedule something, and he was not the most responsive on texts /​emails etc. However, he showed up as scheduled, right on time and worked efficiently.
Overall, I would highly recommend him!

I contacted This company because of the good reviews on Unilocal.I have to say I’m shocked this place has good reviews.
Here is my experience: I emailed the company thru the website. I described In detail that i wanted my windows cleaned inside and outside. I sent pictures of my windows, measurements and where I lived and which floor Etc.
To that inquiry: the response I got from a generic crystal company email was: ‘what services you want’
There was nothing else in the email. No hi or bye or what his name was. So I responded kindly describing again in the same detail what I wanted. He responded: ‘xyz price per window’ Again, no hi or bye or whom I was talking to. I still responded kindly because of the raving reviews on Unilocal and asked for an appointment a week later. He agreed. On the day of the appointment, He showed up a half an hour later than agreed. No heads up or anything. He forgot to bring his proof of insurance so the building manager didn’t allow him up into my apartment so he had to leave. On the way out he emailed me that I wasted half of his day!!!
He is so unbelievably RUDE that even if he does the best work in the city, I would rather hire someone else and pay them double the money. Life is too short to deal with people like him.
PS: the only way I found out what his real name was is from my concierge when they called to inform me that he wasn’t allowed to come up.

Paul did an excellent job cleaning my large, very dirty Windows & both sides of the screens. There’s scaffolding & construction that added a film on some windows. He used another solution to remove. He was very neat & clean. My only complaint is that the appointment was for 9am. Paul called to say he’d be there at 9:30. He arrived at 9:55.

I scheduled an appointment with Paul. After an hour beyond the scheduled appointment time, I get an e-​mail from him stating that he is on his way. Then about a half an hour later he e-​mails me that he can’t make it to downtown Manhattan because all trains aren’t stopping downtown due to construction. One line was being affected by construction, but there were alternate lines that could be used that would leave him a block away from the affected subway line. In conclusion, he never showed up and I wasted a beautiful Saturday afternoon waiting for him.

Paul did a great job. Professional, tidy, meticulous work.
Would highly recommended and will definitely use again.

My neighbors recommended Paul and he did a great job, thorough and solicitous, pointing out a couple of minor spots he couldn’t get to as they were between panes of glass. I will be using him every time from now on.

I read all the wonderful reviews about Paul and called with high hopes. Conversation went well for about 30 seconds, when I said that I live in Brooklyn Heights. He cut me off, saying he doesn’t work there. Nothing else to discuss. The end. They say Brooklyn is the hip borough to live in, but I guess in some ways we’re still geographically undesirable! Too bad!

Paul was as good if not better than advertised. Windows were cleaned to perfection and he somehow even managed to clean a blocked part of the pane with a MacGyver fashioned tool. AMAZING!!!

Paul is a window cleaning magician. Its beautiful to watch someone that is so thorough, meticulous, and passionate about executing their task as perfectly as possible. He cleaned my windows so perfectly, and left no sign of having been there except for crystal clear windows. I can’t stress enough that it is well worth the cost to have this particular person clean your windows. At the end, I actually overpaid him because I was so impressed by how honest he is in the work that he does. Five months later, we still have super-​clean windows from which we can enjoy uninhibited sunlight and view.
It turns out that both of my windows were also not aligned properly, and it bothered him so much that he asked me for a screwdriver and fixed them for me, which tremendously decreased the amount of cold air coming in from the windows.

Very pleased with Paul. I needed 5 standard residential apt windows (and screens) cleaned, 2 of which had window a/c’s in them. Paul was able to work around them with no problem. He did a great job. My windows are spotless. Very little to clean up afterwards as he comes prepared to cover the floor & window sills as he works. He’s also very reasonably priced. So glad I found him. Paul is excellent. I called him after seeing all the good reviews on Unilocal,and he showed up the next day to my apartment.
He was on time, quoted 100 dollars for my 4, 12 feet floor to ceiling windows. and literally stayed 2 hours and a half scratching scrubbing and washing these windows that haven’t been washed in 10 years… The result is outstanding, the windows are crystal clear and my view of the east river is better than ever :)

This guy runs a very nice small business. He is attentive, thorough, reliable and honest. His rates are decent too.
I was very satisfied.

Paul arrived on time and put on his shoe covers, just like others said he does. He inspected our windows, quoted a price and got to work. He was competent and hard working.
Paul tried hard but could not remedy the etched-​by-​pollution glass to make it look clean. He said that takes a «restoration cleaning», which is another type of service. I just wish he said we needed restoration before getting 50% through the job. If you have older glass that has been exposed for years to the NYC airborne grit, save money and time; Pay for a Restoration First. So now we have clean but still «dirty appearing» windows.

This guy is pretty damn good.
He shows up on time (actually early as I recall) all gear in a backpack ready to roll.
I show him into my apartment, and he puts on what look like hospital bacteria boots over his shoes. So as not to scratch the floors I guess.
He takes a look at the windows and explains that the main one will be quite simple, as the sliding window comes out, allowing easy cleaning. Great. Unfortunately the further window outside is not reachable and can’t be cleaned. It’s a thinner window, that I’m willing to overlook, so I give him the go ahead.
20 some odd minutes later he’s done, and they look great. In fact standing back you almost can’t tell the window is there anymore!
I offer Paul the $ 60 plus a small tip. He returns the tip to me, saying because he couldn’t get the smaller outside window, it wouldn’t be fair!
Wow, where do you find people like this in NYC anymore?
I would call this guy again in a heartbeat!
