CVS/pharmacy

This place really deserves 1 star, but I am giving it 5 because there seriously needs to be a reality TV show filmed here. My husband and I always come home a story after stopping into this CVS. This whole place is a hot mess. Don’t go here if you are pressed for time.

My go-​to for most anything store. Friendly employees who are more than willing to help customers. They display their weekly sale items fairly well.

The longest lines ever for no apparent reason. This place would be faster if they just installed the u-​scans and fired all the employees.

They are open 24/​7, which I think is great. It’s also right near the 67^th Avenue train stop. Even their pharmacy is apparently open these hours (or maybe just really late?) but sometimes selection on things can be slim pickings. You might also be waiting sometimes if you wanted someone to ring you up at the register but I like that they have self-​check. Otherwise, no better or worse than a typical CVS.

The absolute WORST!!! Looks like a mess and the pharmacy? Run by angry amateurs, who look so unhappy to be there, that I feel like they must be abusing them.
Just wow… go anywhere else but here.

I’ve been buying razors at this CVS for a few years now out of convenience since it is right outside the subway station but recently they locked up all the razors and the locks say that you need an assistant just to take the clamshell packages off the hooks. Okay, fine I’ll take the extra minute to ask for assistance in getting these $ 7 razors when your $ 20 makeup is unlocked and have no anti-​theft measures in place at all…
Then I asked the assistant standing in the middle of the self-​check registers for help getting the locked up razors. He said OK and called for customer assistance to go to the aisle. No one came for 2 minutes. I went to the pharmacist and said I needed the razors but they were locked up and no one came when I asked the first time. I waited 4 minutes just to get a simple $ 7 pack of razors which they locked up for some reason because god forbid they lose a few razors instead of their much more expensive make up and even food out in the open, and I STILL didn’t get them.
WORST customer service here — I’ll be ordering my stuff off Amazon now and only coming here to get my prescriptions filled because apparently trying to purchase something from the actual store is impossible.

The pharmacy is good and the people are helpful. Otherwisr, it’s a dump. I just came out of there. The card reader for the rewards card doesn’t work (you have to type your phone number), they have only the lowest grade sodas and drinks, they’re out of food staples, half of the automated checkouts don’t dispense cash, and their ATM is out of order.

I was coming home from the city on a rainy day. I got off on the 67^th ave and queens blvd and stopped at the CVS pharmacy to buy an umbrella there was only one style for $ 18.00 plus tax. Couple of blocks down on Austin st there is another privately owned pharmacy and same umbrella was selling for only $ 7.00 totally rip off. I understand they located right on queens blvd the rent is a lot higher but not triple the price!!!

THE WORST, Don’t ever try to get a delivery for your prescription from them. IT MAY NEVER COME. THE TECHS AND PHARMACISTS ARE TOO BUSY TO PICK UP A PHONE. The pharmacy is so unprofessional. Never had problems with other CVS stores, but this place is a Eek! Methinks not!

This is my go-​to neighborhood pharmacy and I love the convenience of the location right on Queens Blvd and right off the 67^th Ave train station. The pharmacy and grocery is open ²⁴⁄₇ which is really great for those late or super early last minute runs before heading to the airport or simply before having friends over. They are nicely stocked with essentials and grocery items and although the store may be packed during evening rush hours, the wait at the checkout is never excruciating long. They also have a self checkout machine which is great for those making quick purchases and self sufficient to use it.
Also, make sure to utilize the coupon center machine by simply scanning your cvs rewards card before shopping to ensure you maximize savings! The staff here are also great in case you need assistance with anything at all!

The best CVS in Queens. Their staff are very friendly. They greet you when you walk in and bid you farewell when you leave. The store itself is well stocked. You don’t usually see empty shelves at this store. Most sale items of the week are also in an abundance. Keep up the good work!

Never had a problem until recently. Now they are always charging me the full amount for scripts regardless of my insurance information. They don’t want to take the time to update my insurance, saying my card is for doctors offices only (even though there is an RX number right on the front). Most recently they lost a script I submitted with another and insist they never had it. Then I have to jump through all the hoops… to get my scripts resubmitted and to get reimbursed from the insurance company what I shouldn’t have had to pay to begin with. Also, always a ridiculous line and wait. Time for a new pharmacy. Too bad, this is so close to my apartment. Just too much of a headache.

²⁴⁄₇ — avoid rush hours though.

24 hour CVS? YES! It’s what you’d expect out of a CVS, just a little cramped. The self-​checkout makes things a breeze.

I like the staff here. They’re super friendly & helpful. The store is kept very neat & clean. It’s extremely convenient being that it’s open ²⁴⁄₇!

Earlier this year I got pretty sick. I’m talking all out fever, head cold, chest pains, sore throat – kind of sick. My physician diagnosed me with bronchitis and prescribed me some antibiotics. So I went to the Wal-​Mart in my area to get my prescription filled and my refill filed. Get this a 90 day supply was $ 20 bucks! Ridiculous!
I left and went to CVS instead closer to my home in Queens. I made my way back of the store and walked over to the counter where a nice lady greeted me. She happily entered all my info into her computer. I talked to her about how sick I was, etc. and had a nice conversation. I told her how long Wal-​Mart was going to take, and she said I’m not the first to tell her that. She also saved me a lot of money by letting me sign up for this membership, for 15 dollars, you can pay 11.99 for over 400 types of generic medications, mine being one of them, and you get a 15 dollar gift card in return. I asked her if I was able to use my gift card towards my other prescriptions, and she said no problem. Within minutes my prescriptions were ready. I am totally impressed by the professionalism and quickness of CVS and I will most certainly be going to CVS from now on.

Nice makeover, CVS down the street from my apartment. If you haven’t been there recently, they’ve renovated and I think they’re doing pretty well. They installed a self check-​out area as well now. The CVS sales are great, and even getting groceries is a worthy reason to shop there now. That is if your definition of groceries, like mine, is canned foods, cereal, and add-​hot-​water-​to-​eat goods.

I believe this location operates ²⁴⁄₇. In a past life of adult times of having to live Forest Hills, I would patronize this location on a weekly basis for nearly all my personal care needs as it’s within walking distance. This location sits directly on the «Boulevard of Death.»
The service is not very friendly or helpful. As a patron I was not well received with a warm affectionate greeting upon entering. Poor customer service!
