I love this boutique. The people are amazing and very very expert. Jackie and Keith know their Yurman and can advise and do expert repairs as well as new sales. It’s a go to boutique in the center of Madison Ave crowds that has a truly old world touch and modern design.

Just had a lovely customer service experience with Erica! She was so helpful and gave me some great advice on how to maintain my yurman pieces. What a great representation of the firm.

David Yurman has always made quality jewelry in cutting edge designs. I have owned a few pieces and bought others as gifts. This review, however, is about a watch of theirs that I purchased a while back that has been horrible. It has been back to them for repair or service no less than 8 times in the passed 5 years. Each time they do something or other to it, I get it back and a few days later it stops running. This is inexcusable. If it was a car, Lemon law would have kicked in and it would have been replaced. I have not owned the thing for more than 30 days without it completely stopping. I paid over $ 3000 for it and feel like my money was wasted.
I have contacted their Customer Service department several times who’s game plan was quite clear. Apologize over the phone, promise resolution, never get back to me and then ignore my follow up calls. How is this possible? The only conclusion I can come to is that, while their jewelry is exquisite, their watches suck and should be avoided.
This is a colossal failure on their part. A cornerstone of customer relations is the resolution of difficulties. People who pay thousands of dollars for something should be treated appropriately. I broke the buckle on a pair of shoes that I bought at Nordstrom, received an apology and a new pair on the spot. Meanwhile, I can’t even get Yurman to reply to my phone calls. Who knows, maybe I’ll finally get a reply from them here.

Let me start by saying I had loved the product AND my last experience shocked me… it was at this location. I had purchased a chain in the Las Vegas location in ceasars as a gift for xmas on Dec 11^th. The chain was sealed and wrapped in the box and wasn’t opened until 12.21 when I exchange gifts with my boyf… When he opened the box he was really excited about the gift… When he took it out to try it on… One whole side of the chain was black… not tarnished but black… i get it… it’s silver and it tarnishes BUT this item didn’t see the light of day since it was purchased. I was upset about the issue bc it was one of his main gifts BUT what I was more disappointed about is that a product I highly adored and backed quickly crumbled and his first impression was a negative one… at this point he wanted to just return it and it’s understand able. .why would he want to polish a chain everyday… so in a panic I saw no returns only exchanges and at this point it’s the 11^th day… i called the 800 # and they said I could take it to the ny location to see what they can do… we called the store manager and she said anyone of the reps can help… When I walked it the greeting was pleasant… Ii explained to a young gentlemen the situation… He gave me options but I said can we please just return the item… As he stepped away to discuss with the manager I called my boyf to give him the update… my phone call was a few mins and unfortunately the gentlemen helping me got called away… When I got off the phone I turned around and this rude man in an annoyed voice «is this yours?»…i walked over and shoot my head yes… He responded with an impatient annoyed voice…“well I don’t know what is going on you’re going to have to tell me”…so me a bit taken back by his harshness to my situation and the idea of having a customer repeat their issue again… i went through my scenario… He abruptly interrupts me saying «it’s silver what do you expect?!»…at this point my nice voice goes away and I start to become more stern explaining the item never left the box… He annoying responds «well we don’t return only exchange»…This rep obviously had no customer service experience nor didn’t know how to properly deliver negative information to a buying customer… He didn’t try to offer a solution. .He was quickly negative and defensive… so I said, please just return the $ to the card… He looked at me all prissy and snapped the card out of my hand… at the end, they did return my money but the way I was treated in that store totally turned me away from the David yurman product.

Walked in to have my bracelet cleaned and received star treatment from start to finish. From the minute the doorman opened the door I was greeted with a smile from various associates and quickly asked if I needed help. I was then guided to elevator where I was advised to go to customer service on the 4^th floor. I again received such a warm, friendly greeting and quick, excellent service. I was in and out in less than 10min with my bracelet shining like brand new.

My customer care agent was Jason Belveduto. He was very attentive and sweet! We love the ring as much as we loved his service! Thanks Jason, you rock!

I bought a chalcedony albion ring at a David Yurman affiliated sample sale. The chalcedony stone developed deep cracks the same day — it must have happened while I walked from the showroom to my apartment (10 blocks). I called the DY store immediately and explained the situation. My ring repair should be complementary given how quickly and bizarrely it broke. The company did not stand behind their product, or the fact that the sample sale is an official David Yurman sample sale. It makes no sense to replace the stone using the advised DY jeweler– I might as well buy another ring. I demand great customer service and accountability when I buy expensive jewelry from reputable brands. Even low-​end Tiffany’s jewelry comes with amazing customer satisfaction and jewelry repair. This experience disappointed and angered me… I am no longer a David Yurman customer. Bi-​annual sample sales, numerous knock-​offs etc. indicate this brand has lost its luxe niche. It’s another Louis Vuitton; catering towards the ignorant and sucker-​punched mass-​market.

Polite, attentive, mellow, and fast!

My girl friend has an unusual ring size, so it was hard to find that specific ring size. But this place had that size! I wondered if this is their corporate store to carry that size. My girl friend loved the ring!

I went to have my DY earrings cleaned and repaired. The lady who helped me was named Erica and she was nothing short of completely awesome. So helpful, friendly and personable! LOVED HER! Great experience there!

I would have given them a 0 but unfortunately that’s not an option. I purchased a 400 dollar bracelet at the Westchester store about a month ago only to have the clasp break. When I called to find out my options, I was told they don’t take returns and that the only place this is listed is on the receipt (which you receive AFTER they’ve swiped your credit card)! Total scam! Then, to make matters worse the salesperson, Eileen S. was beyond DISGUSTING!!! She told me that I was being rude, continuously tried to cut me off and not let me finish my sentences and made no sense about anything she said. I love this brand and have been a very loyal customer BUT will never buy from them ever again and will make sure to let other know about this. I’m horrified at their lack of customer service and attitudes, it’s really awful and they should be ashamed.

I was sent here to purchase a ring. When I saw the price if the ring, I was dumbfounded! This firm should be ashamed! Silver, semi-​precious, colour-​enhanced junk. When I asked for the weight, out of curiosity, the salesperson was obtuse as the triangle! And most of their products are made in China!!! You are a FOOL if you buy anything from this company. I went to Harry Winston and purchased a much more elegant piece. I paid more, but I KNOW the quality of the brand– and it’s not colour-​enhanced junk!

I ordered silver shirt studs online in early April ahead of a black tie event that I was traveling to NYC to attend. When I tracked the shipment a few days later, I saw that the delivery was scheduled for AFTER I would have departed, so I sent a cancellation and note to DY’s customer service that this was an unacceptable length of time to deliver the order.
While in NY the day of the event, I decided to go to the Madison Ave store after working in my office in midtown. I walked about 10 blocks and arrived at the store around 4pm. I reiterate that I was in full business attire. I was warmly greeted and when I mentioned what I was shopping was directed to the second floor to the mens jewelry items. The young lady who waited on me was very helpful and friendly and we found the studs I wanted immediately. She took my credit card and some other info and went back to the first floor to complete the transaction.
I lingered for a few minutes and then went back downstairs. It was at this point that i noticed under surveillance by a security man (in suit) the entire time. He had followed me to the second and stood blocking the stairs while the clerk and I chatted. I am not certain what is happening in that part of the Upper East Side that David Yurman believes a business man would walk 10 blocks in suit and tie to steal or shoplift items from a second floor accessed by one staircase. There would be no way to exit (other than airborne flight from the second story window) if a theft were in progress and I question the judgement of both the employee and the store’s management if he were told to stand as he did during my transaction.
The messaging that I was perceived as a threat to the store was highly distasteful even after my $ 400 purchase was completed. And I am reminded of it now that my original online buy has put me on their email promotion list.
Both my wife and I have items from Yurman that we like –and love. However, I am not certain I will be crossing the threshold of the Madison Ave store again.

I see several posts here about issues with repairs.
Yurman sends all their repairs to Rochester, New York. The people in New York and in Rochester were very lovely to me but the repair that they did for me recently was shoddy. I had to pay a local jeweler to fix the diamonds ready to fall out of the ring.

Wedding Bands…
The gentleman who helped is on the Mens Jewelry floor was fabulous. He was very helpful and showed us a wide range from simple to full on DY. They certainly have a good selection of unique bands.
Then we headed to the Bridal section for me. They sat us down and selected a few rings to match my band. Very gorgeous rings. Great Service.

I love the look of the David Yurman cable collection and have two pieces from that collection; a cable bracelet and a nobelesse ring. I purchased these items because of the «quality» that DY is known for – unfortunately, these pieces have not lived up to that standard; I’ve had costume jewelry that is very old, and inexpensive which have been more durable than my DY pieces.
My nobelesse ring, which has the citrine stone, has cracked twice since my purchase in 2008. The first estimate that i got from DY was $ 100.00 to fix and was not covered under warranty but I got it fixed because I love the ring so much. Recently, I looked down at my ring and noticed that the citrine stone was cracked AGAIN so I took it to my jeweler and they sent it to the David Yurman store to get fixed.
They came back at me with a $ 160.00 dollar fee to replace the stone and at that point I said «no» and the ring was sent back to me as is. Why spend $ 260.00 and counting (because I’m sure this stone would crack again if I were to get it fixed) when the ring itself cost only $ 500.00 to begin with???
Now, onto the next piece of jewelry that just broke for no reason: my cable bracelet that I purchased in June 2011 — -the gold cap loosened and fell off. So, today I went to my jeweler where I purchased it and it was sent out; I’m only waiting to see what estimate they come up with to fix it and what excuse they have for charging me. Hopefully, it will be free of charge but with their track record I’ll hold my breathe.
As of now, David Yurman has definitely lost a customer.

I was just given a peace sign David Yurman petite necklace for birthday. Exactly 10 days later, I put the necklace on and continue with my morning routine. Glancing in the mirror before leaving my home, the necklace was around my neck. 2 hours later while shopping I realized the necklace was no longer around my neck. The only thing I can muster is that the clasp did not close good and when posited in the exact position for the loop to be disengaged from the clasp, the necklace dropped loose and is gone.
The necklace was purchased on Rodeo Drive where my daughter has previously purchased another piece of David Yurman jewelry. I have over 25 pieces of David Yurman purchased over the years. The only other issue I have ever had is when an enhancer clasp became loose from repeated use. Saks gladly sent the enhancer in to be replaced at minimum cost. I am very disheartened that a quality necklace made by David Yurman could have a problem clasp and result in a quick loss of my newly obtained gift.
I have called David Yurman on Rodeo Drive at 10a yesterday whereby I explained the situation. The manager, Frank, said he would give this matter some thought and call me back. I am still waiting for that call. .. I’m one hour short of it being 24 hours so I am anxiously awaiting to see what David Yurman can do for such a loyal customer. Stay tuned.

I’ve managed to acquire multiple pieces of DY jewelry over the years. The stone (well, mother of pearl) fell out of my ring so I took it to the DY store on Madison & 63^rd to have it replaced. I dropped it off on a Sunday and the girl was very helpful and told me it would take 2 weeks to have an estimate and then it would take 8 – 10 weeks to repair the ring. I agreed. Sure enough, exactly 2 weeks later, I got the call with the estimate and was reminded again of the 8 – 10 repair time. I said fine.
After only about 2 weeks, they called to let me know my ring was ready. When I picked it up, the ring looked better than new, and the girl offered to clean the other 3 pieces of jewelry I was wearing.
I left with 4 gleaming pieces of Yurman jewelry and a smile. Thank you!
