ddc is an industry leader in contemporary, European design, featuring many of the world’s most iconic and progressive works throughout the history of design. What started as a furniture repair shop in Tehran by Grandfather Aghajoon Khalifan, has been carried on by his family, the Hakakians. Nader Hakakian and his three sons Babak, Seemak, and Daniel founded ddc in 1990 and have steadily expanded their business to a multi-​million dollar company and a leader in high design. The Hakakian boys have scoured the leading European design fairs for decades to offer consistent, contemporary pieces to satisfy their ever growing high end clientele. Our craftsmen are among the most well apprenticed in the world with a loyal commitment to quality, detail and integrity of design.
