Had great sushi and my friend had «the best dirty almond chai of her life»! This place is fancy and hip!

Stopped in for some soup today and while it tasted amazing (Beef Barley) I really want to comment on the service. All the girls behind the counter are friendly and hard working and the gentleman serving the soup was extremely helpful describing the different soups and insisting I take a sample of one of the soups he suggested, even though I had already bought another kind. A bit expensive for soup but well worth it!!!

Just solo good! Butternut squash soup, the coffee is amazing, awesome staff, Kaylee is great… please try the salted chocolate chip cookies

So, I stopped in last Friday (10/​23/​2015), as I was waiting for some friends to meet me at Le Parker Meridian. I figured I could do with a coffee since I was basically sleepwalking at this point. I walked in, completely ignoring the times on the door, when the woman behind the counter mentioned that it was 6 minutes away from closing (to her co-​worker). Now, had I known it was that close to closing, I likely wouldn’t have gone in because I’m not a total piece of shit who thinks folks who have been working hard on their feet all day need to treat me like some goddess.
But, here I was, and I needed some coffee.
I ended up getting a coffee and two chocolate bars. The woman behind the counter was very pleasant despite it being so close to closing time. She thanked me for being her last customer of the day. When I tasted that coffee… I’ve never been more pissed at Starbucks for simply existing. Delicious. If I am around, I’ll return!

THE WORST IVE EVER BEEN TREATED
i was taking a photo of the setup because it look so lovely and the worker there scowls at me and with the utmost contempt in her voice tells me no more pictures. I comply of course because why wouldnt i? I wait to order my Latte and she blatantly ignores me while i stand there. I begin to walk away, then a man who i assume to be a manager comes out and asks me if i need any help. I think to turn back and then the worker says super loud and rudely, «no she just wanna take pictures.»
I wont’t ever be visiting a Dean & Deluca if this is how they treat their customers. I am disgusted.

First time trying this place that’s supposedly gourmet. First off, my sandwich was super expensive. Next, the lettuce was wilted, wet, and black in places. Last, the turkey had so much fat on it that I had to take most of it off. Save you’re money and get a sandwich at any of the delis nearby; you’ll get more food and pay less.

Semi ok coffee and sweets. still like Gregorys better.

I waited a long time to order — despite no line — a croissant and cappuccino on a Sunday morning. I ate my croissant (meh) while my coffee sat for a few minutes. I finally took a sip, and BRUTALLY SCALDED MY MOUTH, TONGUE AND LIP. I tried to swallow but it was so insanely hot, I had no choice but to spit it out on the table. I felt like the McDonald’s lady of yore — an hour later and my lip and tongue still throb. I told the barista what happened — no apology or concern, she just reached out for my cap (there was no foam on that inferno of milk, btw), and made me a new one. The one star is for making me a new one, the other four missing stars are for service, taste, courtesy and expense. $ 7 for a Sunday morning injury and a dry croissant? No thanks.

First time trying Dean & Deluca — we were looking to have a light, quick, healthy lunch and this definitely fit the bill.
I tried my friend’s Harissa chicken sandwich — melty, a bit spicy, and yummy but a tad too strongly flavored for me.
I opted to make a salad — HUGE portions for ~$ 12. I got arugula + kale, chicken, and tarragon vinaigrette, which was good but they put in wayyy too much — the sauce probably negated the healthiness of the salad. Regardless, it was tasty and very fresh!
Also got the cappuccino — I heard good things about the coffee here but it wasn’t amazing. No complaints, would come for lunch again.

If they have these down in Texas I have never seen one. Largest one visited ever was in Washington DC in Georgetown. As in a full blown huge grocery store.
This D&D didn’t let down even being a smallish NYC space. Sandwiches fresh made (if you ask) at $ 10 hit the spot.

Terrible service and terrible coffee. Guy at the counter seemed like he was stoned and couldn’t understand my simple order of «small coffee.» Now it was starting to make sense why the girl in line in front of me left the counter shaking her head and muttering under her breath. Coffee was so disgusting I could barely drink it. Coffee is pretty easy to make, so if your coffee sucks, what does that say about your establishment and the rest of the items on your menu? Next time, I will look for a reputable place to get a decent cup of coffee.

There’s a reason why the line at Starbucks down the street is out the door, and there are hardly any customers here.
I’ve been to this location twice. First was about two years ago for a client meeting. Decent spot to sit down at a table, because there’s usually at least one or two available.
Anyway, yesterday I had some time to kill and needed a place to sit down to do some work, and being nearby again I thought I’d give it a shot here. Things didn’t go well.
First of all, there’s no wifi here. I get that it’s a luxury or something, but this has got to be one of the only cute café deals in the city that doesn’t offer such a thing. I probably should’ve asked before I ordered.
Biggest complaint, however was the ‘latte’ I received. The barista not only accidently put a double shot in there («is that okay?») but there was this weird, undrinkably thick sludge at the bottom of the cup. Disgusting, really.
Ended up going down the street to Starbucks anyway.

My husband and I decided to pass by on our morning walk in Central Park.
The gift store had a lot of nice souvenirs. So I purchased a coffee mug and a little black tote bag. 26 $ for the mug and 24 $ for the bag.
We exit the store with good coffee, a average cupcake and a O.K. almond croissant.

I was visiting NYC and there was no way I was going to leave without visiting! I was obsessed since my Felicity days. I was a bit nervous unsure what to expect. The coffee was delicious!!! Clean, modern, gluten free options which is a must for me, outlets to charge your phone. Coffee that you can purchase and clean bathrooms. For a NYC place lots of seating which was soooo refreshing!

Such fantastic service by the morning staff ALWAYS! They always help me pick out the best pastries! Love the food, the Cinnabon is the absolutely best! Thanks so much for you

Why is this place so expensive? The place is clean and presentation is good, but a mini side salad that looks like it was sitting there all day is $ 7 and a box with 6 small chicken fingers with sauce (also looks like it was there all day) costs $ 15. The lady in front of me wanted to buy a drink and those 6 pieces of chicken… When she heard her total was $ 22 she walked away and the cashier said she couldn’t blame her.

I guess there has been a Dean & Deluca here for a while but I just noticed it, so I had to hit it up for lunch. This is by no means the behemoth SoHo store that has everything under the sun, but is more than adequate for lunch.
This location has soups, salads, sandwiches, coffee and a small selection of pastries. I opted to build my own sandwich. I had grilled chicken, arugula, cheddar cheese and horseradish sauce on whole wheat toast — all top notch ingredients. It was very, very good.
The staff was very friendly and there was plenty of places to sit and enjoy my lunch as well. This key as many lunch spots on this street have very little seating. Here, the space was light and airy, with white tile walls, high ceilings and big windows.
I definitely felt like I was on a lunch «break», rather than inhaling something edible. I will be back!

I went through a phase where I went to Dean & Deluca every day for a week.
Let me explain.
I love donuts. Unfortunately, there aren’t as many donut places as there should be in this city. At least not super close to me. But Dean and Deluca has Doughnut Plant donuts. Only a few each day, though, so you have to get there early.
I take the M57 bus across town to work. And this D&D is on 56^th. So I take the bus halfway, get off the bus, go to Dean & Deluca, buy a donut or two, and then walk back and wait for the next bus.
It works for me.
The donuts are $ 5 each, so unfortunately it’s not really sustainable to eat them every day. (Calories schmalaries!) But thank you Dean & Deluca for giving me an option in Midtown!

A hop skip and a jump from our hotel and the only coffee shop (i’d want a cup of joe at) I could find for blocks!
The store front was under construction so the foot traffic seemed low, but it made for a cozy spot to start the day.
The pastry options were good and the service wonderful. It’s a smaller Dean & Deluca, but I just love it!

Horrible temptation, being expressly across the street from Le Parker Meridien. In just a few days, have tried the café au lait, Doughnut Plant donuts, cassis n dark choc macarons, iced lattes, reg coffee.
