Stopped in to grab a quick to go turkey sandwich. I wasn’t expecting much as to go food usually isn’t very good, but this really took the cake as the for being terrible. It was literally the worst thing I have ever tried to eat.

FOOD POISONING !!! Be careful !
I ate some of the chicken from their buffet and got deadly sick afterwords. Stay away.
Prices are normal but place is very dirty with «attitude» employees

I went there a couple of times on my last trip to NYC.
For a quick snack I got some spicy tuna and empanadas. The sushi was surprisingly good (I usually never pre made sushi and the empanada was very good.
I stopped for breakfast the next morning, the breakfast buffet looked uneatable. so I decided to ordered a bagel with lox spread. I got a bagel with cream chhese and jelly, when I brought to the clerks attention, she gave me attitude and would not make me another bagel.
The store has great selection of candies and nuts.
There employees need a attitude adjustment.

This used to be my favorite soup/​chili/​sammich place before I got food poisoning that took me out for like 4 days.
I normally get the Garment district or couple of the other specials they have listed on the wall.
When i got the poisoning I ordered a Roast Beef/​American lettuce, Mayo, Jalapeño Peppers, Salt and Pepper.
Not sure what happened as I saw that they had a fresh large chunk of roast beef along with a small chunk of roast beef that they were almost done with. I’m guessing they cut mine from the smaller chunk.
It’s been a while since I’ve been there, and I don’t see myself going back. Prices really vary. Their grocery items are pretty expensive. Their hot bar items are on the higher side vs the other deli’s.
Sandwich pricing is pretty competitive since they throw in a soda/​water for anything above $ 7.49 or something (not many people know about this). Their coldcut portion is also much better than the other nearby deli’s.
Would be a solid 3.5−4 but gets a 1 for food poisoning from this place. Others could say that I could’ve have gotten it else where. But this sammich + Seagrams gingerale is the only thing I ate all day, minus the water in the office.

Stopped in for a quick lunch here. A real smörgåsbord of options. Nice salads, soup bar, hot food bar, sandwiches, etc. reasonably priced and quick (we just missed the midday lunch rush I think). Reasonably priced. Not many seats, thus making it more of a takeout place. But a really nice variety. We also got a free soft drink. I had a salad and soup and Suz had a salad and a little off the hot bar (meat and a veggie). Good midtown option especially if on the run or in a hurry.

I love the selection. It’s hard to run in and just buy the one thing you came in for! AND, don’t miss the coffee shop in the corner, far better than Starbucks!

Bad sandwich and terribly over priced. Go to any other grocery in the city and get a way better sandwich.

Just spent $ 2 for a partially rotten nectarine. Will never go back there again.

I went in to the store yesterday and I asked how much a bag of chips were and they said they didn’t know. They also told me that the large bags were marked with a price and none were marked. I picked up more than one, 2 or 3 bags of chips. I almost made a purchase but didn’t. Decided NOT to since I felt like I wasn’t provided with any service. I wont go back to that store.

Prices are doubled on most items as per manufacturer suggested retail.
Check expiration dates while you are at it.
Peculiar dynamic among the employees and the managers. It’s not child friendly conversation.
Don’t expect to hear any pleasantries.
It’s in a world of it own. Almost Twilight zone caliber.
I just can’t let any unsuspecting person be taken for a ride anymore.

I went in there to grab something to drink. I get to the register to pay, I whip out my debit card and the young girl immediately says to me…
«Oh no, sorry we don’t take E.B.T cards!»
Listen, I don’t have any beef with E.B.T or anyone that has to use E.B.T. If you need it, by all means use it, but to automatically assume that a customer is on food stamps is utterly ridiculous and insulting.
Rather than simply apologize for slip-​up or misunderstanding, she decided to engage in defending his inept customer service.
I’m sitting there thinking, I’m currently on vacation for a week in Manhattan, I’m staying in a 4 Star Hotel, and I’m standing there in a $ 500+ Kenneth Cole jacket, and this is girl is talking to me about some food stamps.
Ignorance is real… Sad!

I ordered food this evening, and the estimate said it would take 50 – 65 minutes, and it is now almost 2 hours and I still have not received my dinner!!! Do not order from this place. They have «one delivery guy» for all of New York. What are they thinking?

This place is overpriced, they grow fuzzy mold on their overpriced bread, their pastries are hard as rocks, the customer service is beyond terrible. Sticking to the topic of customer service, the indian guy at the register threw a borderline-​psychotic episode after i swiped my credit card and the card machine froze. Not only did he violently hit the machine repeatedly but he started yelling at me in uncomprehendable English… the only thing I captured was «this your fault, see what you did!!!» Um… yeah, the machine told me to swipe the card so I did… and it froze… not my problem. Scary. As I stood there quietly watching him make a fool of himself (that behavior is beyond responding to), the machine finally worked. If only I had known that I would have to experience that much drama and get reprimanded for swiping my credit card to pay for my bag of goldfish crackers, I would have just gone to Duane reade right next door.
Before I walked out the door I asked another employee who the manager/​boss was so I could put in a complaint and the guy pointed to the nutcase and said that was his boss. Too bad this place is run by tempermental whack jobs who abuse inanimate objects and verbally abuse their customers. Perhaps this guy needs an intervention for his anger management issues. Might do good for business.
You’re better off (and safer) at morton Williams a block away.

Hard-​earned lesson: don’t get deliveries from here.
Long, boring story short: I ordered delivery from there at around 6:30 pm, after an hour and a half of waiting with no word («65 minute maximum delivery time»), I called, turns out the delivery guy went to the wrong address. Oh well, it happens (a call would have been nice). I tell the man on the phone that I had to step out of the office for a few hours, so should I cancel the delivery? He insisted – no, they’re open until 1 am, a few hours isn’t a problem, just to call when I get back. I call back at 10 to ask if I can get my delivery now… he laughs in my face, say that a «few» means 2 hours, not 3 hours, and that the delivery man had gone (even though he’d told me not to cancel my delivery because they were open until 1 am). Then he wouldn’t cancel the transaction or help me in any way!
He was rude, unhelpful, and – at best – misleading.
TL;DR: Terrible service.
Can’t comment about the quality of any of the food here, though, since I never go tmy order!

Ran in here for a quick grab and go for my lunch. I headed straight for the salad bar and noticed there wasn’t a HUGE selection but had a moderate amount of things to choose from.
There salad bar didn’t really have salad, just a strange collection of things such as tomato salad, asparagus, couscous and everything not salad but in the salad spectrum you can think of. I got the three things I listed. The tomato salad was actually EXCELLENT. The asparagus seemed a little undercooked to me, and the couscous was great.
I also got a piece of swordfish, I’ve never had swordfish before so I can’t judge but it was good. The seasoning was kind of plain though. I also got a piece of pork, which may I say was awesome. There was just the right amount of flavor. It didn’t overpower the meat, more like enhanced.
The price is about a dollar cheaper than whole foods by the pound. The cashiers were not very friendly. Just threw my stuff in a bag, didn’t make eye contact.
(There’s also a deli, didn’t try that. And a seating area)
It was fast, pretty cheap, and not bad quality! Great for a fast lunch break pick up :)

I came here Sunday morning for breakfast on my way to the AIDS Walk. I just wanted a breakfast sandwich and was trying to figure out from were I would need to order it. I went to where the breakfast buffet was and I asked the guy who was behind the counter.
He said he could make me a breakfast sandwich from the stuff in the buffet. I asked him what kind of sausage it was and he said there was beef sausage and that was fine with me. He asked if I wanted it on a bagel or a roll. I chose a roll.
He took some of the scrambled eggs and a few links of the sausage and put them on the roll. The price for the sandwich was very good ($ 3.49) considering the area.
The sausage was tasty but maybe too much eggs in the sandwich.

Attention NYC tourists! Leave 7^th Avenue and come over here. It’s a little pricey but not as expensive as the lousy delis on 7^th and the quality is much better.
This is a great place to stop in to pick up a few specialty items. Unless you’re Donald Trump (during a non bankruptcy year) you’re not going to purchase all of your grocery items here but they have really nice stuff. I like all the prepared foods because it’s easy to pick something tasty on the go.
Player tip: Stop in here and pick up some cheese/​olives/​crackers or even sushi before taking your guy/​girl for a romantic picnic in Central Park. Do that and you will get lucky.
It’s a one stop shop that makes those panties (or boxers) drop.

Nice store. Clean, well stocked. Good variety.
Good vegetarian options.
I enjoy the vegetarian lentil soup.
It’s pricey, only down side.

I have not actually been to this store but I recently ordered flowers through Seamless with them. It was the day before Valentines day and I had yet to order flowers for my special someone. I looked at many options such as local florists and FTD, but I wasn’t going to shell out over $ 50 for a dozen of roses or tulips. I knew a lot of grocery stores in the city delivered groceries and many of them offered flowers in the store, so I searched flowers for delivery in Manhattan on Seamless. I felt like I beat the system when I saw this place offering a dozen of roses for $ 16.99 or tulips for $ 7.99 ON Valentines Day!
There was a little mishap with the first time they tried to deliver them but they quickly fixed the problem after I gave them a call. The flowers looked great and I was able to avoid the obnoxious marked up flowers everyone else was selling!

I really wanted to like this place because I work ½ a block away, but salad bar and soups leave much to be desired. I found a long hair in one of the soups and showed an employee who shrugged his shoulders. The salad bar doesn’t have good options (no goat cheese, raisins, etc) and they don’t offer bread on the side.
The food bar is ok, but there are rarely healthy options that are hot.
