Good made-to-order salad and decent prices. You can pick up a good amount of toppings like eggs, avocado, onions, bacon, mushrooms, babycorn and it was still under 10 bucks. At chop’t it would be like 15 plus. Even if you pick premium toppings the salad is still cheaper than chop’t. Long lines but goes by quickly. Good salad place! They also have sandwiches and wraps(pre-made) but they warm it up for you. One of my favorite lunch spots.

Way over priced. Staff is not very friendly either. Check your salad price because they rush and can over charge you. Also I got chicken cartilage in my salad — beware!!!

The food here is bland and mediocre(at best) with the exception of the soups(which I don’t think they make themselves). The pricing is outrageous! The service here is absolutely terrible! The staff is rude and disinterested. If not for the near oligopoly they have in the building, this place would be out of business in a week.

Pricey. Great salads, great staff, good bagels and great tiny chocolate chip cookies.

wow, do not expect any service from the soup people here. i had to practically beg one of the 6 staff milling about for help. the guy with the button down shirt(possibly the manager) begrudgingly attended to me – and i use that word very loosely. he was rude, curt, and practically resentful of my presence. mind you, this is 10:30 am and there is perhaps 2 other people in the entire place. there is no rush, there is no reason for their behavior, ever. the cashier practically rolled her eyes at me when i asked for a piece of bread(which comes free w/the soup). sorry. i will not be going back… no soup or salad – no matter how good – is worth that treatment. p. s. when i asked for a comment card, they told me «they don’t do that.» when i asked if it was because they are not concerned with customer feedback all i got in response was a blank stare. unbelievable.

The food itself is fine, the way this place is run leaves much to be desired. We’ve ordered from them a lot for meetings and office lunches, and there is always some problem or another. They are often late with the food(no matter how early you order it for!) — once I called 15 minutes after our food was supposed to arrive, and I was told the fruit for the fruit salad had only just arrived at the restaurant. The food was late for the meeting even though we’d asked them to have it here 45 minutes before the meeting started and ordered it the day before! They also forget things. They delivered a breakfast tray with bagels and no cream cheese, and though they called and offered to come bring the cream cheese, by then it was too late. Or for instance today they are out of brie. There is just no brie. It’s 10:45 in the morning and a sandwich place is out of brie.(This is not the first time they have been out of brie, also. Either take it off the menu or order enough to meet your demand!) When we complain, they insist they are doing us a favor and that they shouldn’t even be delivering to us as we are«out of their area».(Our office is one block from their restaurant, and they ONLY say this when we try to complain about the shoddy service.) We started ordering from them because they were previously very reliable and good, but the past few months they’ve been a nightmare and we’re currently looking to take our business elsewhere.

Pre-made sandchwiches are decent. The salads at the 1WFC location are much nicer.

Love you. Hate you. Love the bagel staff — thank you for smiling, being super efficient and accurate with orders 99% of the time. No I mean it, I only come here because you are not beyotches. Like your lunchtime salads, but have to say that the salads at the Devon and Blakely in 1WFC are generally nicer(don’t get that either, a salads a salads a salad, I know). Hate the cashier staff — if you could be any surlier, any meaner or any unhappier I would scratch out my left eye. If I owned the Devon chain I would secretly inspect all the stores and fire those who were mean spirited to customers. Just saying. Quality control counts people.

Food — 4⁄5 Value — 3.5÷5 Service — 3.5÷5 Atmosphere — NA/5 One of a handful of places to get lunch in and around 3 World Financial Center. Their salads are the main attraction here — they have a a good variety of toppings and dressings, and they chop your salad on request. One of the better places to get a salad, not sure how it compares to the two new places that opened near Goldman. The line will be long from the hours of 11:30AM to at least 1:00PM but it does move fairly fast. They have a good selection of soups also though they are a bit pricey. Their wraps/sandwiches/paninis are good but portions are small for the price.

I come here allllllllmost every day for a salad. Yes, the line sucks, or appears to, for salads. However, the salad guys are AHMAZING. I love them! They have a multitude of toppings to choose from(and some you can’t see… always ask for turkey, avocado, green apple or jalapenos! They have them hidden sometimes). Be careful, some stuff is deceivingly expensive. My salads are usually about $ 8.50, but a small soup is like $ 5.50? Huh… for chicken noodle? It was a bit of a shock to get rang up as a $ 14 lunch… Standard salad: small mixed greens or spinach, spicy chicken, jalapenos, chick peas, cranberries, peppers, tomatoes and sometimes chinese noodles. and CHOPPED. But, ask for it chopped before the dressing, otherwise that’s just messy. Oh, and lemon juice and salt and pepper. YUM. Their sandwiches get good reviews from my coworkers, though I was advised: AVOIDTHEQUESADILLA!

Love their soups! My fav is the split pea with ham. This has definitely become one of my favorite lunch spots since I moved to the area. Salads, sandwiches, soups you name it they got it. They are reasonably priced as well. Small soup(12 oz) is around $ 4 something and a large soup(16 oz) is around $ 5 something. And it comes with a slice of their delicious bread. Note to those who love cornbread — there version is a lot sweeter than what I am used to so I had it for dessert after my soup instead. Will have to go back and try their fresh tossed salads until then happy eating!

I’m rating it based on a couple things that I’ve eaten here. Overall, their food is good. Soups, fresh tossed salads, and sandwiches. Despite the long lines you get your food fast and it seems like EVERYONE in the building is carrying a Devon and Blakely bag. So far though, I’ve had good food but nothing that blew me away. The sandwich I got was massively premade, so the bread was a little soggy. The blackened chicken that was the main protein on the sandwich was way too spicy and couldn’t really taste anything else in the ‘wich(I probably make it sound worse than it was but it was actually satisfying). The soup I got the second time was a little cold. Admittedly I didn’t get lunch until 1:30 because of work, but still you expect a soup to be piping how when you open up the container. Nonetheless it tasted good(chicken noodle) 3 stars for having a good selection of soup/salad/sandwich and fast lines in an otherwise unexciting culinary neighborhood Revisit? Occasionally

Love the salads here. Great spread and such premium offering too. Super super! My usual — small romaine — hearts of palm — artichoke — broccoli — sundried tomatoes(at times) — mushroom — onions — avocado — cranberry — egg — chicken at times — dash of balsamic — mix mix mix! Oh and did I mention their soup and rolls ;p

this is a convenient place to get a quick lunch to eat in the winter garden or on the esplanade… pretty much an upscale deli, they have baked goods as well as sandwiches, salads, soups, and various prepared foods. the staff is not super friendly but not discouraging either. i come here when i don’t know what to get, but i want it to be healthy. last time, i got two small containers, one with grilled vegetables(which are always delicious-zucchini, summer squash, eggplant, and tomato) and the other with chicken curry salad. that came out to about 7 bucks, and i was perfectly satisfied.
