CHOP’T

So I came back today to be brave and try a different menu item. I ended up ordering a hot top salad which from readong it sounded like a burrito bowl. I got the braied chicken tioga which has spinach, kale, scallions, crumbled chips, and avocado chunks topped with black beans, Brown rice, and shredded chicken… and for my dressing I chose the Sweet and Spicy Chipotle Sauce instead of the Mexican Goddess dressing they recommend it with… Service is super as usual… and the salad was real good… it was different but still good and darn it, it still reminded me of a burrito bowl except the dressing really made the difference… That Chipotle Sauce had a good kick to it almost like I had jalapeños in my plate… and most of all ITS ALL HEALTHY!!!
Overall try the hot top salads, they’re different but tastey and you get to substitute items if needed.

tried the mexicali vegan salad with mexican goddess dressing — really good. also really filling and a good size salad. can’t wait to try something else next time

I love how they chop up my salads with their beautiful curved chopper blades. Intersperses all my ingredients together just PERFECT.

I LOVE CHOP’T. YUMMY, HEALTHY, FAST, very reasonably priced. What more can you ask for?
PLEASE OPEN UP IN CALIFORNIA ALREADY!!! I need my CHOPT fix.

I wish they had more original signature salads. I made my own but found the grilled chicken bland and the apples weren’t crispy at all. They do have a large variety of dressings though.

Not sure why this place has such a low rating. I eat here most days for lunch, as I work close by. Even though the line is long, they move so quickly that it never takes more than 10 mins. The staff is very efficient and always friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience in the dozens of times I’ve been here. The only negative thing I’d say is that when I order through Seamless, they have messed up my order once or twice. However, when I called to let them know, they fix it and have offered to reimburse me to make sure I am happy. This is a great healthy option for lunch.

Friendly and service oriented. I’ve been here when it was slower but it it was very busy today. The protocol for ordering was completely switched. There were 5 lines at various stations, so I stood in line where I had ordered before. After ordering and waiting for my salad there was a commotion amongst Some staff. «That’s the other ladies salad». After a little more confusion I was approached by a friendly staffer letting me know I should have been in another line to order. Apparently It was her job to steer consumers to the Correct lines. But she was doing it by telepathy because I never heard a peep out of mouth and other people looked a little lost too. She tried to rectify it, but I had already «eaten» up much of my lunch hour and left. I get very annoyed when there are no clear consistent directions as to where and when you order. Fortunately the many many other food counters at Hudson Eats are a little more organized.

I love Chop’t but I hate this location. The delivery always takes double the time they say. Then if you go to the location they are always out of everything you want. I understand lunch rush, but I never go during the week, usually only weekends and they are still out of everything. Today we ordered wraps through Seamless and they said 20 – 35 minutes. I got a call from the store 40 minutes after ordering telling me they are out of wraps. I wouldn’t have been that upset except I should have received a call a few minutes after the order was placed, not 40 minutes. I have friends who live in the area as well that have stopped going to this location for the same reasons. If you anywhere else in the city go to Chop’t but stay away from the Hudson Eats location unless you feel like getting angry and having your blood pressure rise!

Great lunch salad spot at Hudson eats. It is very quick paced because of the long lines so make sure you know what you want to order when they ask you.
