Update: I have received an email after writing this review and they have guided me to the return instructions. Thank you for the response, the dress was very nice, I just didn’t think it was me, but otherwise it was a nice dress,
i ordered a dress from here recently, didn’t really like the fit on me, trying to return it but they are not returning my email, i am starting to think this is a scam. I will be stopping a payment and sending back the dress back regardless, this is ridiculous.
return policy is 30 days, and i think they are just planning to wait it out and not answer me. in conclusion, dont buy from here the customer service SUCKS.

I ordered two dresses through their website. The delivery was delayed past our event date. I returned the items and have been waiting for a refund since mid-​March. I have e-​mailed them to ask the status of the refund but no word from them yet. Unreliable, unreachable (no working phone number on file anywhere) and it seems not reputable. Sounds like a scam!

I strongly suggest you listen to all the negative reviews below and take them seriously. I wish I had prior to ordering two dresses so I wouldn’t have to deal with the aggravation that I’ve experienced over the last month.
DO NOT ORDER from this awful website!!! It’s such a scam the way they operate and the quality of the dresses is very poor. Dresses do not look anything like they do online. I ordered two of the same dress but in different sizes because I fall in between a size 4 and 6. Besides the fact that neither of the dresses fit me, I DID NOT like the dress and wanted to return both for a full refund. In order to start the refund process, you have to first email them which took days. Then they will come back with their most ridiculous policy on returns that you cannot return two of the same dresses for a full refund… only one and then the other will be an exchange or credit. Their terms and conditions are conveniently tucked away at the very bottom of their website; however all over the site they promote free return shipping as if there were no gimmicks. This is a total scam! Not only are they very unprofessional and lack the proper communication you would expect from a company that’s selling formal wear, but they have an awful reputation. Check out the better business bureau website and you will see all of the customer complaints along with an F rating which is the worst score you could possibly get.
Not only was my time wasted but my patience was tested numerous times. I did end up sending back the dresses after contacting the customer service team MULTIPLE times, involve an attorney and contacted my credit company who were the ones who ultimately processed my refund.
Please beware!!! Spend the extra few dollars and go to a reputable department store or well recognized website for formal dresses where you know you will be treated fairly and in a timely fashion. I honestly can’t believe this company is still in business!

I ordered two dresses for New Years Eve after seeing a link from Who What Wear. I wish I’d read the reviews first. The dresses arrived. Quality was not as expected. Nonetheless, I decided to keep one. I have been trying for weeks to return the other. No response to six inquiries. Even though there is a CEO message saying they have improved return and have several addresses, there is no where to find the return info. Instructions say to go to My Orders and click return… but not operational!
I spent over $ 300 and cannot get the courtesy of a response.

I received a response from Fame and Partners. Received my refund, apology and offer for another dress. Based on this, I am changing my review to 4 stars. Good luck

That dress exceeded every expectation I had! I told my husband of 20 years that I had never felt so beautiful! I only wish I had taken more pictures ! BTW your packaging was impeccable. I need an invite to another party so I can wear it again!!!

Update: decided to email them again and after a series of back and forth emails, I got my full refund! Maybe they are stepping up their customer service game. Still would not take a chance with them again.

I wish I read the reviews before I ordered. Terrible, Terrible customer service. I ordered a rush customized dress and they failed to sew it as specified– a Very simple thigh high slit ended up to be an awkward 7 inch slit instead. We had 15 email exchanges for a simple request of compensating me for the hassle to have it altered myself. Their compensation was to return the $ 9 value of the customization. Great customer loyalty response! Not even sounding the least bit apologetic for their mistake. Order with caution.

If I can rate my experience at Fame and partners as 0 star, I would.
This was the worst shopping experience i have ever had. The dress looks nothing like the picture: sizing is off, fabric quality is poor, fitting is poor. And to top it all off, the return policy is HORRIBLE, the customer support is UNREACHABLE and when finally you can reach them, they are USELESS. I am surprised this company still exists, considering i can go somewhere else and purchase a dress with the same price or less, BUT with better quality and customer service. Please save yourself time and stress and DO NOT order from this place. I had issue with my order and contacted the customer service. I called the 1 866 number and customer service was not at all helpful. The lady who took my call said they are just a 3^rd party call center and she has to email the company in Australia about my issue. She said I should try the chat feature on the website (what was the point of the call center then?). I did and no one responded on that chat. Does this company even exist? Finally, i tried to email them. They gave me link to their website about return policy and how i have to pay for the extra restocking fee if i do return. The experience i have with them is a series of frustrations. STAY AWAY from them if you can.

This company is horrible! I have been waiting 4 months for a refund. They have my $$ and the 3 dresses my daughter ordered for prom. When I email they give me the same «technical issues with processing your refund» garbage every time. I’m pissed and if you order anything from their website you will be too.

This company does not even deserve 1 star! Worst customer service I have ever received. I tried to exchange a dress, and received an email saying that the exchange had been placed. Almost 2 weeks later and I STILL had not received my dress, so I emailed them to find out where it is. 2 days later and I had no response, so I called up and was told that the dress had not been put into production, because I had not confirmed their confirmation! Apparently it never occurred to anyone to follow up with their customers! With only a week left before my event, the dress I wanted was not going to arrive in time. Now I have no dress for my event and it looks like I may have to skip it all together! Very disappointing. Never again.

This company does not even deserve one star. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

I requested a refund 3 months ago for a dress that didn’t come on time for an event (which they said would and told me no problem getting a refund if it doesn’t work out — as in it doesn’t fit not arrives after my event).
I have been begging to get my money back finally got in touch after several attempts and they gave me bull excuses about issues with the company that does their refunds but that I will get it soon and they are working urgently on this — I’ve been told this about 3 time and still nothing.
I am all for supporting small businesses and new fashion companies but these people are total SCAM artists and are changing my view.
Anyone who has given them a decent rating must obviously work for the company — because they have to be a total sham. I am a huge online shopper and boutique brand shopper — never had such a terrible experience and horrible customer service.
Please let me know if anyone can provide legal information on what my best course of action is now and if anyone knows what the equivalent to the better business bureau is in Australia.

Fame and Partners dresses look beautiful online. They are simple and lovely. However beyond the pretty dresses it’s clear the company is not set up to be a reputable online retailer based on everything that comes after you press pay.
Their customer service is beyond terrible. I would say buyer beware, be very aware of what you are getting into when ordering from them. Once you place an order you may or may not receive your dresses. You certainly won’t receive them in a timely fashion.
The only way I was even able to get my order processed and shipped to me was by tweeting about how poor their service was. Only then did I get a response via twitter with a question about my order number. Once it was supposedly shipped, which was several weeks after placing the order, I did not receive the dresses quickly. I noticed that they were coming from China when I looked at the tracking. The dresses were for prom so unfortunately we needed to find other options since we were not sure if or when the dresses would arrive. Trying to return is impossible and you MUST read the many details of their return policy as it is not straight forward, unlike many other online retailers.
Trying to get a response about a credit for your return is impossible. I do not believe they even have a customer service department in the US since if you try to call the number posted it’s simply an answering service.
Bottom line, I would strongly advise against ordering from Fame and Partners.

Worst shopping experience ever. These people are impossible to deal with. I made a return over a month ago, and they have put me off ever since trying to scam me of my money. I have called and emailed an incredible amount and they continue to avoid refunding me. Absolutely ridiculous service. Never shopping there again.

Horrible!!! Would never recommend. The quality of dress i ordered was not even close to one described in the picture. I tried to return it, but they are giving me so much problem, i can’t get in touch with anyone either by phone or by e-​mail. It has already been 2 months and i am not even sure if they are going to reimburse me for my order. I left several messages over the phone and by e-​mail and only response that i got so far is that someone will return my call. As soon as they received my money they just disappeared. Also the product comes from China not from Australia and quality of the material and also the colors and sizes are really off.

Worse customer service. No communication via call center or emails. The return policy has many hidden loop holes (27 points to read over). The 7 day return period has been 2 and a half weeks so far… And delivery was 22 business days. No response to emails and the call center is someone who has no communication with Fame and Partners so your concerns or complaints are listened to but there is no action taken place.
Scam.

Ben reached out to me directly and assisted me in getting a full refund. He also followed up several times to confirm receipt. He was extremely professional and helpful. I wish Fame & Partners the best as they build their business.

I have been planning my wedding for 6 months and putting off buying my bridesmaid dress as everything out there is too expensive or really ugly. My friend told me about this site and their range of bridesmaids dresses was huge. They offer chiffon or georgette pieces that can be color matched. I picked three different dresses (two of which were from the bridesmaid section and one from the main collection, not a problem) but I have them all in the same color. The pieces were priced well and gave my bridal party loads of choice. Got them the other day and they look great. I can wait for us to all walk down the aisle.

do not order from this place. scam. terrible returns policy. read the returns policy if you do decide to order. returns policy is deliberately stated in a confusing manner. i ordered 3 dresses for a prom and none of them came in time, and they will only let me return one dress out of the three for a full refund. worst company ever and terrible customer service.

5 weeks wait on a return, at least 5 calls and 2 emails without any response. For the actual return I had to physically present myself to their offices to find someone to talk to. I have yet to receive my money.
I would never deal with them again and strongly advise against it.
