Our goal is not only to improve the beauty of your smile, but improve your health and quality of life.

History

Established in 2012.

Our Midtown Manhattan dental office opened three years ago with a mission to transition the focus of dentistry away from disease-centered treatment to disease-prevention and to restore balance of oral and general health. We work by removing barriers that harbor harmful gum disease-causing bacteria, stopping cavities in their earliest stages, all before a filling is needed. Long-term outlook rather than a immediate solution. That is the modern approach to dentistry.

Meet the Business Owner

Dr. P.

Business Owner

After having completed her bachelor’s degree in microbiology, Dr. Pyon graduated from New York University College of Dentistry. In her final year there, Dr. Pyon spent elective hours treating a special population of patients who sought political asylum in New York City from physical and mental torture in their respective countries. These patients exhibited extreme fear of the dental light, instruments, sounds and even water. After finishing her residency with heavy emphasis on call and emergency dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center, Dr. Pyon worked with the under-served in Brooklyn, before working in private practice in Manhattan. She is a current member of the American Dental Association, New York Dental Society, New York County Dental Society, American Association for Women Dentists, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She regularly attends study clubs as well as continuing education courses.
