Best place for VSP, got my $ 400 Salvatore ferragamo frames plus eye exam for $ 250. Could’ve even got the $ 180 Ray Bans for $ 30 but decided to treat myself.
Daniel was attentive, informative, and (most importantly) not pushy at all. He let me proceed through my lengthy decision making process unimpeded.
The overall ambience of this place feels very modern and energetic — definitely not your dad’s eyeglasses shop.
Dr. Sara Tang was also great, as were Courtney and Nicole who helped my girlfriend with her frames and insurance questions.
It’s a hidden gem in Chinatown — I definitely recommend setting an 11 am Sunday appointment for the best experience

This place is OK; the are expensive glasses, but they also have a lower range. Overall, staff is competent and attentive.

Love this place. Was able to get lenses put in a pair of frames I got at a sample sale. Quick turnaround, CALVIN was great — helped me decide on specific lenses and was very professional. Cool vibe in this place, friendly and no hard sell at all. I am delighted with the frames and service!

they helped me put in my contacts for the first time. Odiously I was a total idiot when it came to that, it took me a while but they were very patient and helped me through it. I guess its a new level of business client relationship when someone touches your eye ! hah.

Overall a solid place. Great service and good selection. Minus 1 star because I have to wait up to two weeks to get my glasses. Minus another star for the price. I only came here over LensCrafters because I read in the reviews that they have a same day service, but they don’t.(LensCrafters has a same day service). I now regret going here because I needed my glasses ASAP before a vacation and now I have to wait. So don’t come here if you’re looking to get your glasses quickly. I also saw that the exact same pair of glasses I wanted at LensCrafters was $ 10 cheaper.

I love that this eye glass store has the weirdest and coolest designs. And I also love that they have a payment plan that works for my family of 5. It doesn’t cost me a lot each month (the installment, that is) and we get to exchange the frame for other designs within that year, if we want to. My son broke his frame playing basketball and he got new pair at no cost. Calvin, the manager at the store, is extremely friendly and helpful (so are all the other staffs). The place is bright, clean, colorful and cheerful. Free coffee and tea, too. I don’t think we will go to another eye glass store again, as long as we live in New York City.

My wife lost her contacts while traveling to NYC. She could not see. They gave her a free set of contacts, no charge! We tried to pay them but they declined respectfully. Great customer service, highly recommend!

I decided to go to ilook based on the Unilocal reviews I read. Let me just say that I’m glad I did. This place exceeded my expectations. The were courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and NOT pushy at all!
They were super patient with me as I tried on multiple pairs of eyeglasses. I was asked questions to narrow down my likes and dislikes so they could look for those options that fit my requirements.
This place is a hidden gem! I made even made an appointment for my son to go there for his eyeglasses and contacts.

Incredible customer service, they deserve all of these 5 stars reviews. My glasses took a few extra minutes to be ready, and they didn’t know how to apologize to me delivered it at my office in person with a hand written note in a few minutes and didn’t charge me for anything just for the trouble. Very kind people, will always use their service and recommend them clients when I can.

Lens were falling from the frame, I entered the store and asked to fix from optics he fixed for me in 10 minutes, I wanted to pay him for it and he refused to accept money for the repair. It happened to me a month ago and now when I looking his address again to fix another glasses and find him in Unilocal.
He was very nice and professional.

There is nothing compare to iLook (Chinatown location). Originally I was planning to just get my contacts online until one day me and my BFF was walking to Xi’An Famous Foods and we stopped by because she recommend iLook from her previous experience of purchasing contacts from them.
The place is clean and organize. Once we enter the store we were greeted and they gave us space to try the glasses without them following us. They came to help us immediately once they notice we needed help. They have most of the Luxottica’s brands so it is a large variety of options. The prices are slightly cheaper than Eye Solution and MK Vision. Most of these stores have a moral of just convincing the customers to purchase but iLook definitely wants their customer to feel satisfy and happy with their purchase. All the staffs are very helpful and friendly like mention by my friend and fellow Unilocalers!

At the end I got the bundle for contacts and I am still trying to explore other contacts brand with astigmatism. I also got my new pair of glasses with all their staffs’ help. The lenses for my glasses have 6 month warranty incase the prescription is incorrect. Their management is wonderful and I’m so grateful for 110% customer service I have received. I am definitely coming back to order my contacts in the future. iLook is definitely a KEEPER!

Yes! Unilocalers this is by far the best place to get your fashionable eyewear. They carry virtually every brand and has a decent selection of eyewear that is unique and reasonabliy priced. Calvin and his crew are not out to gouge you. They will work with you even if you don’t have insurance. I get all my eyewear from iLook and have referred plenty of friends and family to them.

First off — there’s no shortage of eyeglass stores in this part of Chinatown. When you walk down Mott Street, there are plenty of options to consider if you’re looking to get new glasses (or flx some old ones).
Recently my glasses broke and I was looking for a place to repair the frame. I checked out a few local spots near my hood (in Times Square/​HK). Let’s just say the folks there were far from helpful and downright snotty about the cost and availability of service. So I said, fuck it, let’s find a place in Chinatown.
I gave these guys a ring and Calvin picked up the phone. He assessed my issue and said it was an easy fix that didn’t require any cost (versus the midtown folks who all wanted to charge me at least $ 20). So I hopped on a subway, showed up, said hi and Calvin took care of my issue in 10 min. He and the rest of the staff were very friendly and never made you feel any pressure. He was also very helpful with customers who had questions about their frames.
While I was waiting, I took a look at some of the stuff they carry. I liked the variety of options and the designs looked cool. I’m definitely coming back here not only for future services but also to shop for new frames after my current ones wear out.
Long story short — good service goes a long way and these guys do a great job of taking care of their customers.

Excellent selection of frames at reasonable prices. The lens were also reasonable. I went on a Saturday around noon and the glasses were ready to pickup in three hours. You can wander through the shop and try on glasses at your leisure without the need for a salesperson to take frames in and out of cases. Most of the frames are hanging on the wall. The sales rep that helped me was incredibly knowledgeable about the inventory and also was great at choosing potential frames with the style that I had in mind. Wish I knew his name so I could give him a shot out.
Now I’ve got a sweet pair of spectacles at a reasonable price. The store is clean, bright and modern feeling. I haven’t come across a better optical store in Manhattan.
