Jamba Juice

The other day I bought a smoothie before heading into work. Swiped my card waited about 4 minutes for my smoothie, and went on my merry way.
After walking about a city block, someone taps me on my shoulder and tells me my card did not go through. I get that this happens, but 1) the place was not busy 2) I was in the Jamba Juice for about 5 minutes after I swiped my card 3) I was late to work because I had to go back to the Jamba Juice to re-​swipe my card.
Cashier, your job is to make sure that everyone actually pays. I’ve worked in retail, and it’s pretty clear if things did not go through. Also, it’s inappropriate to put your hand on a total stranger. Finally, don’t give me attitude about the inconvenience when you did not do you job itself.

This is the only Jamba in the Times Square area and is right in the middle of the action on 7^th. They’re open late, which you would expect being in NYC. The smoothies are the usual great Jamba’s and I particularly like the tropical piña colada and lime colada.

The SLOWEST moving staff. They are inattentive and take forever to even START to make any type of order. They are also extremely unfriendly. I come in before work and am typically in a rush.

Years ago, this was my go-​to Jamba. Staff always had their stuff together, quality was always on point.
Just got back from this location. Bigger is not always better, y’all. Register staff were fine, but the person making the drink was hollering, «Who is this for!!! I don’t see a name! Where’s the lid?! There’s no lids! I don’t know!!!»
Hot flippin’ mess. Took forever to get the drink. It was fine… but not great (and I get the same thing every time).
Meh.

I popped in for breakfast and very much enjoyed myself.
Décor: It’s the standard Jamba Juice look-​and-​feel on the inside (although this is probably the largest location I’ve ever been to). There is plenty of standing room (and you can enter and order from either Broadway or 7^th Ave.) but there is not many seats available if you want to eat/​drink there (which isn’t a big deal as JJ is usually a grab-​and-​go kind of thing).
Bathroom: unknown
Staff: The cashier was very friendly and my bowl was made very quickly. What more could you ask for?
Food: I got the Acai Primo Bowl and WOW was it GOOD! The largest size was more than enough (even for me) and made for a fantastic breakfast! Not only are there acai and blueberries, but there are strawberries, bananas, coconut, and honey… amazing. and delicious!
Value: I had the largest size, so it was nearly $ 10, but overall the prices are not terrible.
I’ve always been a big fan of Jamba Juice and with their ever-​expanding menu you can bet that I will be back again in the future!

Jamba Juice is Jamba Juice but this location offers superior service and employees who actually look at you and smile. Also try to use the app and have your order ready and paid for when you arrive. You will be in and out in a flash.

I visit this location almost every day. Especially after my pregnancy. I usually get the small apple and green smoothie. I used to drink coffee in the morning. Since I’ve been drinking an AG smoothie every morning, I noticed my weight go down and it gives me energy for the day. Also this smoothie has the best nutritional value (300% Vitamin A and 210% Vitamin C) out of all the smoothies. I haven’t had a severe cold since drinking this. If I don’t have this smoothie in the morning, I just feel ‘off’ and my day is not the same. Does this mean that I’m addicted?
I actually tried making smoothies on my own but it was much easier to stop by JJ and pick one up. I don’t have to worry about prepping fruits, stocking up on cups, blending in the morning, then cleaning up. Plus since I work in times sq, there is a discount via times sq crossroads.
The workers have been friendly to me and always remember my order.
I also tried the chunky munky bowl which is delicious!

Good Stuff! Smoothie was good and service was courteous and friendly. i usually don’t like to to to the chain/​franchise places but I can say I’ll be back to this one. Location is key as well.

Fast service for a location in Time Square. The selections look tasty and the prices were reasonable ($ 6 for a natural smoothie).
It’s a must go to place during the mornings!

This Jamba Juice location is literally in the middle of Times Square. Apparently it is one of the biggest, which I totally understand based on the location.
I went yesterday, so it was freezing outside but I hadn’t had a Jamba Juice in a really long time and it was completely worth drinking it in the cold!
The staff was great!

The workers are very friendly so at least you can talk to them while you wait for a while for your order. Also, yes they are in Times Square so you would expect them to be slower since it is crowded but they seem to move slow even when there are no other customers in the place.
Overall I am a big fan of any Jamba Juice, I just go to this one because it is closet to where I work.
My favorite smoothies are the apple and greens and their tropical harvest.

Not the fastest jamba juice location but it’s clean and the staff is friendly. The cashiers are efficient about taking your orders and payments but the smoothie makers can be a little slow, even when it’s not crowded. The drinks always taste good though.

Not as busy as I would have thought being that it’s in the middle of Manhattan but it’s very nice and clean. As always the smoothie was very tasty and I would definitely come back again if I was in the area craving JJ.

This used to be a great pleasant place to go. It does get crazy and busy sometimes and they do maintain the stores and machines well. They are clean and sanitary but the new staff not so great. They used to have a lot of pleasant staff who even when frazzled where still polite but the most recent crew from my last visit a few weeks ago were rude. They didnt smile or welcome you. They acted rude and impatient. I haven’t went back since. Working in the city stressful enough that on your break you dont want to experience such an unpleasant environment.

This Jamba is busy because it’s in Times Square. I like it even though they skipped over my drink. Great staff who greats you with welcome to Jamba and a cut «Tip tip» «hoary» when you tip

I can’t stand this location. They ALWAYS forget to add the boost to my smoothie. I wouldn’t mind if it was included in the price. But you pay extra for boosts. I know when my Protein Berry Workout is MISSING the protein and when my Berry Upbeet has none of the Whole Grain I asked for.
Also, some smoothies have absolutely no taste. Probably due to the fruit being in the freezer for too long.

jamba juice… like crack. prices keep going up but you keep coming back for more. so yummy esp when youre sick. all that fruit and vitamin c. only come when theres a bogo deal otherwise its too expensive. so this location is alright. quick and get the order right. no complaints there.

I’ve been meaning to write a review on jamba for the longest time. I’ve been a fan of this chain for many years, the smoothies and juices are great — the selection is great the only thing is, it can get expensive for these drinks if you start ordering fancy stuff or specialty smoothies. Search online for a list of their secret menu items — the pink starburst is one of my favorites — probably not healthy with all the sugar but really good!
I usually get the carribean passion — lighter on the sugar but full of fruit taste. The new kona berry blast smoothies are surprisingly very good as well — not at all too sugary — they had a special 16 oz for $ 2 — not sure if they’re still running the promotion but it doesn’t hurt to ask =)
Glad they finally switched away from the styrofoam cups to ecofriendly paper ones now. I’ll probably buy more now that I don’t feel guilty for all that styrofoam going to landfills. I bought one of jamba’s logo plastic tumblers here and the staff at this location is accommodating for me to use it. Surprisingly there are some stores that refuse to let me use it even though it’s their own cup! (ehem Bryant Park location).

Ahh, I still like the convenience of Jamba Juice even though I could just make my own smoothies.
I had a Mango-​a-​Go-​Go to get a good dose of Vitamin A and C. Darn you stupid cold!
Btw, this location is still a zoo!

Jamba Jamba. I used to go to you all the time when I used to live in California, but now that I’ve migrated to NYC, you’re a little harder to come by. This location is right in the heart of Times Square. With that said, be ready for a crowd. Prices are a little higher than usual, probably due to the location and clientele.
Same old Jamba Juice, just at a higher price point, and tons more people.
