Jamba Juice

My friend Francis and I came here this past weekend after running some errands nearby. We figured, why not? It was beautiful out and warm enough for a refreshing, cold smoothie. This was on the way to the train and I was severely parched. We were deciding between Starbucks (across the street) and Jamba Juice but there was no line here… WELL… big mistake walking into this Jamba Juice and I’m not likely to let Francis forget soon that this was his terrible idea.
What was supposed to be a quick in and out purchase so that we could be on our way… turned into waiting for at least 20 minutes on top of waiting to order. The girl working the cash register was absolutely the worst. She took forever to ring up the woman in front of me and my friend and wasn’t helpful to her team at all. You could see the two guys running back and forth getting supplies and checking the orders while listening to all of us complain.
After we ordered our juice drinks, we waited for what felt like an eternity. People were getting visibly agitated, the two of us also joining in on that crowd. It seemed like people were camped out at Jamba Juice, waiting for their drinks to be made. This one girl looked like she had been there since forever, since she found a comfy spot to lean on and looked like she took a nap while waiting. I started to believe that maybe they were growing the fruit out back because we were waiting so long. We already paid, so basically we were just staying based on the principal that we paid and we wanted our product.
I suggested to Francis and one of the other frustrated juice patrons that we could create our own juice smoothie chain and make own our juice quicker than waiting on this horrible line. The other frustrated patron quickly dubbed our group as the «Jamba Refugees» and we continued to frown because we were still waiting for our juice. When we all thought that the cashier woman was going to help her team members make some juice (and alleviate the wait time), we just saw her make her own juice, get a straw and went to the back and sat down. There were still people waiting on line to order/​pay, and the two men were still scrambling to make all the juice and keep everyone from starting a juice riot. We were all giving the two guys a lot of credit for working so hard and trying to keep everyone chill. Wow. Never again!!! They need to have a better system, because it’s the shop’s not going to run with two hard working team members, and a slacker, making juice for herself.

Jamba Juice quick to order! Unlike the one by Bryant park this location knows you are in a hurry. I tend to visit Jamba Juice more when there are specials of course. They gladly accept the coupons with a smile here.
Fresh juice !!! who can hate on this?
I got in at 8:50am and Out with drink in hand by 8:53Am !!! That must be some kind of record. Put it in the books.

I love a well made fresh juice every so often and Jamba juice delivers. The real question is, –what’s in the carrot juice? It seems just too sweet to be limited to carrots alone.
As for the location, it’s excellent and the service is extremely efficient and the prices are reasonable.

Great location for a Jamba Juice. This place gets a lot of foot traffic since it’s on Broadway and right near the train station. The place is clean and the cashier is friendly. Nothing really stands out at the Jamba Juice. All the items on the menu are the same.

Love the specials, and it is a good place to get a quick smoothie drink. One problem with this location is that they constantly run out of oatmeal, especially during the special promotions. Also, when they do have it on hand it is very inconsistant. Thick one day, watery and soupy the next. But when it is made right, with the blueberry topping I like, it is a great breakfast choice.
I do like that they have such a great variety of smoothie choices — flavors, proteins, energy boosts. A little pricey, but a good meal replacement when on the go.
Basically, it is a chain and they are all around the city, so this review is just reflecting this location.

To this day, I still don’t get why there was so much people this one summer day, the line was outside the store. Is it because an employee is making their own business in this place? This is the place where I had my first Jamba Juice drink. I was literally like…“What the hell?” when they asked me if I wanted a free boost. Unlike the other Jamba Juice places I’ve been to, this is the only one so far that has blended my Strawberry Whirl close to perfect.

This is an OK place. As good as any other Jamba Juice I suppose so I guess this is really a review on Jamba Juice, but I go to this one the most. Nothing TOO special. It is what it is, a bunch of stuff cut up and tossed into a blender with a bunch of stuff poured on top of it. It tastes good as long as you don’t get exotic and ask for too many additions or alterations to the drinks they have on the menu. The bottom line is I’m sure it’s healthy and the stuff they have on the menu is good (i’m sure that’s the reason it’s on there) but I’ve never had anything here that makes you develop any sort of addiction or craving. It’s a fruit in a blender place through and through. Not bad though.

This is a perfect meal replacement, it’s really a hidden wonder. If you take a look at what you need out of a meal, what kind of vitamins, you also want some protein, antioxidants, etc. Just in general what’s a great combination of stuff. This is the closest thing to a fast, healthy meal replacement in the city I feel.
The simplicity of the options is ideal; since I’m boring I just get the Strawberry Nirvana, which is one of their light options, a third of the calories, but all the nutrients, natural sugar, metabolism boosting, and with a protein or energy boost for free, it’s such an essential option for me. I wouldn’t look at it any other way. Yes it’s 5 bucks, but since it’s a meal (out of the at least 4 I eat a day), I will pay it gladly.
Onto this particular branch. It’s clean, it’s small, it’s to go. Next to a Europa and a block from a Starbucks, I prefer this. Unfortunately for this branch, since I get into work around 10:20 or so, it’s either absolutely dead, or has a line of about 6 people. 6 times 2 minutes each at least, and you’re looking at me looking at the fruit stand for some cheap breakfast.
