I go to West Point and I make the trip down in the metro north every weekend I can to get haircuts from these guys, just phenomenal haircuts here.

I’ve been coming here to Kings for 20 years, and keep coming. Even though I moved out of Manhattan to Yonkers 4 years ago, I make time to go to the guys that I know are gonna get it right. Professional and straightforward, these men know the business, know how to cut, and keep it moving. It’s a guy thing, barbershops… this is my spot. 14th Street has changed all around them; they keep it simple and timeless. Why change?

So I’ll write a review cuz I don’t see one in here. The only reason I go there is because of David. He used to be the barber at Y&J Haircuts on 17th and Broadway but then they closed down. In any case, David is Russian and sits all the way to the end. He is a pretty good barber even though he sometimes tends to cut more of the top then what I like. However, he def does a nice even hair cut and uses a combination of both electric clippers and scissors. I believe you have to use both in order to get a nice even cut. Anyways, for young working professionals — he does a great job of giving you a nice fade all around. The other guys look like they know what they are doing. This place is no frills… ol’school barber shot. First come first serve. No shampoo and no nothing. $ 15 most haircuts and I think its only CASH. Give them a try — Trust me… in NYC I’ve seen worse. It’s hard to find a barber in NYC.
