Okay pizza, a woman with a nasty slobbering dog in the restaurant — dogs don’t belong in restaurants

Best pizza I’ve had. Ordered the Grandma Pizza. The sauce is what dreams are made of. Been to NY a few times and try at least 2 pizza places while I’m here and this is the one!

Great pizza and great service! Love this place, especially the spinach pizza. The staff is extremely friendly and gave us great pizza suggestions. In addition to the spinach slice, we also split a slice that was similar to margarita and it was amazing.

I had the margharita slice and it was heavy on olive oil but overall a good NY slice. The crust was thin and I usually don’t like pizza crust unless it’s brick oven pizza but this was better than other regular NY slices. The basil really gave it the kick and the ratio of fresh mozzarella to tomato sauce was appreciated. I would recommend coming here for a NY slice.

They make a good NY slice. Thin crust, tangy sauce, very cheesy. Though it’s uneven. Really depends on the day. I would rate it a 3 ½. The other thing that bothers me is about half the time they don’t have plain pies ready. That’s because they want you to buy one of the disgusting pasta frankenstein slices. Those abominations of NYC pizza. And we all know pepperoni taste better when it’s baked with the pie, not secondarily baked on a cheese slice but they never have pepperoni pies made for some reason. But they’ll have 6 rigatoni and chicken parm pies for you to select from. Wtf?

This is by far the BEST pizza I’ve had in new York! It’s quick and friendly and never too busy because it’s somewhat hidden! Awesome prices too!

Holy moly this place makes a CHEESY piece of cheese pizza. Don’t bother with anything else. Do yourself a favor today and get a HUGE piece of super gooey plain cheese pizza. It’s simply the best.

Lots of selection and different types. I love veggie pizza so felt like a kid in a candy store when I walked in and saw the variety. I live in the area and have tried a few different slices over time, including plain, and am always kind of ‘meh’ about he taste. In my opinion, Sutton Pizza a few doors down has much better pizza. Less variety, but the ones they have taste much better to me.

I ordered Mozzarella sticks and a slice of pizza, the mozzarella sticks were some of the most disappointing gross battered version of a fired cheese stick ive ever had… If you are in the mood for mozzarella sticks(like it was) DONOTORDERTHEMHERE! I thought I had lucked out by getting a slice of pizza to go with it which was cold and flopped over on top of itself and half the cheese missing from it. Of all the choices in the upper east side I think I will stick with Pizza Park from now on! You should too! The only thing I can say I’m please about was that it only cost me $ 10 because if it was any more I’d probably ask for a refund and give them back their food. never again!

Good for a slice. This is my go to pizza joint for a plain old slice of pizza. Nothing special about the pizza here but it’s a nice clean shop and there are lots of pies with a wide array of toppings to choose from and the pizza does not sit around because it’s busy. Excellent calzones and rolls. The dinners are huge and pretty cheap for the amount of food they give you(decent eggplant parm). They make some really nice fresh salads too.

Pretty good. I would say slices of pizza for $ 4 is pretty expensive but I’ve learned that in New York this isn’t exorbitant. In any case, I got two large slices, one with buffalo chicken and one with pepperoni and beef I believe. Both pizzas were flavorful but the pepperoni pizza was literally dripping with oil. The pizzas here are a bit thicker crust than what I’m used to, but still maintains some of that crunch. Not bad.

This is an UPDATE: Lunettas Pizza has thin crust, delicious pizza. I always get mine with fresh garlic and olive oil on mine. I also often order the Italian cold combo which is delicious!

Is a solid pizza spot on the upper east side, it’s great cause it is open late. They usually have like 10 different types of pizzas and their sandwiches are pretty good.

This review may not even show up simply because I’m a non-New-Yorker reviewing a pizza place. If I am, in fact, violating some obscure law then I request a trial by combat. Anyway, I’ve come to understand why New Yorkers say that Pizza Hut and Domino’s aren’t «real» pizza. I grew two new tastebuds just for the purpose of recognizing the difference. I have to say that this pizza was just okay. I often go out of my way to get a slice of pizza whenever I’m in NY, and I didn’t really feel like this one justified dragging a five-year-old down several mile-long blocks. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t representative of what I’ve come to expect from«real» pizza.

Fine for a quick slice. I do have to say though, their chicken cesar slice is superb. I like it because it’s across the street from my place and an easy place to stop by on the way home from a late night. 3 stars because the service is lacking sometimes and I think there are better slice joints around.

Go to Pizza joint! The variety is staggering and everything I’ve ever had here is fulfilling and comforting! Admittedly…I come here frequently when I’ve had a beer or six. Nothing more gratifying than ending the night here. Also, the staff is so wonderful, everyone who works their is so efficient, kind and funny. It’s a pleasure coming back here. (Try the Jamaican Patty with Cheese, Bacon Ranch slice, Buffalo Chicken slice, Spinach slice… all fantastic!)

Service — I made a delivery order and they were very quick. Food — it was whatever, nothing I cared to finish Chicken broccoli pizza — the chicken tasted weird so I picked it off then after a few bites I was over it Chicken soup and lentil soup — both had no flavor Chicken steak sandwich — it was okay at first but then again after a few bites I was over it Most likely wont eat here again unless I’m really drunk and that’s the only thing open, But would still prob only have a few bites

Best pizza in the area — hands down. We’ve tried a few other places, but Lunetta had the best. Good sauce/cheese ratio — good amount of toppings. I felt like the pizza wasn’t slapped together, but that there was some thought put into it. Also, the salads are DELICIOUS! Most of the time pizza places have yucky salads(which is why most pizza places got rid of salads) — but Lunetta’s salads are really green, fresh, with nice chunks of vegetables and cheese. Everytime we go I end up ordering one(because besides being delicious, it also makes me feel less like a pizza piggy!) Staff are always very nice and quick. Will be back!
